Service is nice, the workers are nice but this place is not clean and unsanitary. I came in for an eyebrow wax and ended up at urgent care the next day because I got an infection on my eye. I noticed that as they waxed my eyebrows the woman kept reusing the same stick and I didn't say anything, but sadly ended up in urgent care with a two swollen eyes and two shots. I definitely don't recommend this place for anyone especially with waxing. They're very unprofessional with keeping their tools and items sanitary. read more

Eagle Nails is located in the same plaza as Pho-Licious. After seeing Kim T's photos of her dazzling nail art from this here, I decided to make an appointment. I came in on a Thursday around 11 am. I was actually surprised to so many customers so early on a week day but was told by the lady who did my nails that they are even busier on Saturdays. I don't know if you need to make an appointment though because there was one girl who walked in they took her right away since there was a chair available to for nails open. The lady who did my nails brought out a basket full of colored nails for me to choose from. After deciding the two I wanted (one for accent and one for the rest of my nails), she went over to pick the colors and brought them over to the table. Unfortunately I did not get the name of the woman who worked on my nails, but she was friendly and I enjoyed talking to her. But because English is not everyone's first language working here, there was a little bit of miscommunication on what I wanted. I had told the lady that I wanted to have a nail design. But it did get sorted out and so I had another lady, Gina create a cute dog design. She had initially asked me for a picture because she didn't know how I would like a dog to be drawn. She looked at one of the photos I had on my cell phone and said she has never drawn a dog before but can try. I think overall, it came out okay but I didn't like that there was still some leftover drips from the nail polish that should have been cleaned up before it was cured. I had told this to Gina when she was painting my nails before curing my nails and she said it was okay. I just don't think she quite understood what I mean. But anyways, the gel manicure I chose was actually pretty affordable, which cost $24 and with the nail design, it was $6 (which is good for 2 nails). The price does seem to be cheaper than other places around San Gabriel Valley for a gel manicure. My nails though only lasted about 2 weeks and 2 days before they started peeling. I was really hoping they would last 3- 4 weeks, like the other places I have gone to before, for gel manicures. But I do wash my hands very frequently (I work at a hospital) and I know water isn't the best for gel manicures. I do like this place, even though there was a few hiccups during my visit but would consider coming back the next time I would like another gel manicure. read more

went to this nail shop and asked for regular polish, but they kept pushing gel polish because it was faster for them. When I asked if they added topcoat, they said yes, but there was none at all. I called ahead to check availability, but even though they took us in, they rushed us out. You get exactly what you pay for here: cheap, bad service, and negative energy. read more

my fave/go-to place to get my nails done. they always do a great job for their good prices! i usually get gel polish on my natural nails after growing them out. the designs i've done for the past few times have lasted for a long time, but for some reason my most recent set chipped away after a week. regardless, i will come back again to give it another try. i love this place! read more

When popularity hits . Service isn't as great anymore the last time I went here I had gel x done my first time . When I made an appt never I was told to soak my nails ! I basically paid to have my nails yanked off and pay for a pitty manicure and pedicure because in all do reality I didn't want that ! I wanted to do re do my nails but it seems like I was being rushed into what I wanted because more clients where coming in ! Why do a new set and be more pist off ! If they didn't come out right ! I think I know why I stopped coming . I normally use to travel to come here not anymore! Good luck . Yea, definitely feeling the Hocus Pocus vibes (more so, Sarah aka Sarah Jessica Parker's character. Yes, she also has some red colorings, but I wanted to keep the uniformed purple. Also, Beastie Boys' "Intergalactic" song started playing in my head, lol!). Farewell Spider design, hello, my Glittery Ombre Friend! I haven't done this style in a long time! Eagle Nails is located on E Live Oak (before Sixth Avenue and Hempstead Road) in Arcadia. They're in the same plaza as Pho-Licious. Parking: Medium parking and/or street parking (watch for signs). COVID-19 Safety Procedures: Face masks are worn by both patrons and employees. Hand sanitizers are available and social distancing practiced. Hand sanitizers are located at every station and nail tools are sanitized. The place itself is small, friendly and upbeat. Eagle Nails have quite a selection when it comes to various nail polishes and designs. You can also bring in your own picture designs and they'll try their best to either match it or put their own twist on it. Upon entrance, I was greeted by Julie and was asked what service I would like (gel manicure). I waited a few minutes while Gina set up (since Julie and another lady was working on three other clients that came in first). Gina then filed down my old gel manicure and let the acetone worked its magic while she got back to working on one of the three original clients. In between, I was checking out which gel polishes I wanted. Once Julie was done, she started working with me and afterwards, Gina will come in and do the Ombre part (when it comes to nail designs here, Gina is the go-to gal). Working with Julie was wonderful! She was warm and friendly, and working with her was just like chit-chatting with my Mom (especially, when she was talking about her knee pain and I was giving her advice and suggestions since my Mom was experiencing that). Before we started, I showed her my gel polish selections (Gelixir #16 and Gel Nail Polish "S" on their nail color palette) and would like my nails to be cut and filed in almond shapes. Julie commended my nails on being strong and beautiful, especially, since I was one of those good patrons that didn't peel off their gel polishes (weakens the nails). After she cut and filed my nails, they look sooo good! I haven't had this shape in a long time too, hehe! Her hand and arm massages were awesome since my forearms were feeling a bit tight, and felt relaxed afterwards, yay! Julie was very meticulous and after each process, she asked for my review and approval before proceeding on. I got about three coats on my nails with curing them in between. Once Julie was done with her part, Gina came in to do the Ombre. Instead of the Gel Nail Polish "S", Gina dipped a disposable eyeshadow brush into purple glitter and pat it over my nails. Julie watched the process, but had Gina finish it since she was worried about messing up my design. Again, when it comes to nail designs here, Gina is the go-to gal. Julie then got back to applying the topcoat, curing it and wiping my gel manicure with the alcohol. Lastly, she applied cuticle oil before toweling off the excess and my new fresh nails are done! I've been coming to Eagle Nails for years now and am a loyal client. If you're looking for a cheap option and not looking for extravagant designs, this is the place for you! (seriously I have yet to find cheaper) Definitely call ahead to make an appointment as they only have two technicians who do acrylics, otherwise the wait will get long. I come back every 3 weeks for a gel acrylic fill. If you're going for just basic colors it's only $28 + tip! Of course the attention to detail could be slightly improved, but it's never really bothered me. A pedicure is only $15 here, I don't get it often, but once in a while to treat myself. One con is that when you show them a picture of a design, there's 99% chance it's not going to turn out like that... but it'll still look good in it's own different way. They really try their best but they don't have the materials and Gina is the only one who does any designs. Anything beyond a couple jewels/chrome nails I wouldn't aim for here. Overall, my go-to place to get my nails done - at this price it really can't be beat. The ladies here are sweet and work hard. read more

Decided to check this place out this week and let me just tell you, you get what you pay for! I definitely thought I was getting a good deal at $60 for both gel mani/pedi. BUT I had to ask the woman to fix polish on my hands about 4-5 times. The last time, a hair fell into the gel and I asked her to fix it and she said it's fine. I'm like no can you please fix it , she supposedly did but I can still see it when I left. She didn't fully paint my whole nail as ALL of the edges look like the picture above. Over all, this experience was bad. Do not recommend. On my thumb, she polished OVER my cuticle and I asked her to clean it up and she said nothing was wrong. read more

This is the only place I go to get my nails done!! Gina is really nice and so are all the ladies that work there. The prices are so insanely good too! I get gel x nails all the time with designs on all my fingers and gems for at most $85 (I buy the gems myself and bring them though). On top of that my nails will last a month or more. They're pretty fast when I get my nails done too. I also love getting pedicures there, they do such a nice job every time. It's kind of small in there but I find it to be cozy. I would also like to mention that it does get busy sometimes, I remember the first time I went I didn't have the best experience because it was extremely busy and I had an appointment too. That was years ago though and I decided to come back because the prices were so good. I've also never had a problem after my second time coming. I went here on the 28th of May i'm going to start off with my finger nails I believe it was the owner who did them. What can I say they sucked I had just got them done a day before from another nail salon which already did them pretty bad so I came to see if they could fix them i was charged $37 for them which was not to bad but it was only for a new polish color. The lady switched me off to another person i think they thought i would tip all 4 of them because i got my toes and my moms toes done as well. The color (which is orange) is still on the edges of my nails they filed down my nails and left them in weird bumpy shape it was just all bad. On the other hand the lady who did my toe nails i loved ! She took her time she asked if I wanted to get a toe nail that had broken fixed and i said yes and she pretty much gave me a whole new toe nail the gel is very nicely painted the edges are not rugged or trashy they look very clean and also my moms nails her feet still look great. I only tipped the 2 people who did our toes but for the other women i was not please with there work. read more

I have been going to eagle nails for 5 years now for both nails and gel pedicures. It's very small and cozy and the parking is easy. The service is always excellent, the wait time isn't bad if you call ahead and make an appointment and if you don't they usually make time for you as a walk in! I've never had a problem with my nails, as with other nail shops my nails break easily. The ladies are all friendly and it's overall always a good experience. read more

This was my first time at Eagle Nails and I was so impressed by the beautiful nail work done at such a great price! I showed Amy a picture of the general idea I was going for and she helped me select the right color for my nails. She was very patient in letting me consider a few options for my manicure and we ended up going with her suggestion! The flower design made a lovely look, not too overdone and just to my taste. I thought I found my new go-to nail salon, unfortunately I was mistaken. I am barely on the two week mark of getting my nails done here & 3 nails have fallen. And I suspect many more will be falling off very soon. This was my first visit to this salon but I've gotten gel x done many other times at other salons. My usual experience is that gel x lasts for a least 1-2 months, not weeks. This was a waste of money. And I couldn't go back immediately to let them know because I had my week booked. read more

Update: The same nail tech (Amy?) who did my pedicure gave me a chrome effects manicure that started to peel the next day. I came in three days after that and she redid it for me but I could tell she didn't want to. It was an unpleasant experience to say the least. I go get my nails done to relax and get pampered, not feel like I'm annoying someone or preventing them from making money on someone else. Another tech did a chrome effects pedicure on me at the same time as my initial manicure. While it is still holding up three weeks later, only a couple of my toenails are shiny. The others are a light grey. I will go back for another mani/pedi but I won't ask for anything special. It seems they don't have the skill for it. read more

Needed to find a new place and this one was recommended. Made an appointment and arrived early and was seated right away. Had a pedicure and gel manicure. Decided to get French tip nails and they were done beautifully and a light pink on my toes. They were also the cheapest I've paid before. Will be going back. The only negative I have is the massage chairs. It hurt and dug into my bottom back area so hard it pushed me forward in the chair. It hurt after I got home. read more

Rushed rushed rushed. There weren't a lot of people for a Thursday night, but for some reason my lady rushed! She jumped right into putting the nails on without cleaning the side of my nails or pushing down my cutting. When I asked her about it she said it would cost extra to push and clean my cuticle. I'm already paying 34 for get acrylic gel full set, you can't clean up my cuticle. I'm paying to make my hands look nice, not just to put nails on. I'm not sure if this part is normal, but when she painted one nail on my left hand she's make me put it in the machine while she painted one nail on my right hand. So when by the time she painted the right ring finger my left ring finger was done drying. I think she did this to save her time.... but my whole hand was in the machine for like a total of 7 min which isn't healthy. She should have painted one whole hand and just waited for the whole hand to dry. There is a tone of acrylic stuck on the side of my nail that looks bad and she didn't even try to paint over. I think nails should at least last 2 weeks but these are done within one week. read more

Not satisfied with recent experiences after being a long time customer. I came in January and the experience was terrible, my eyebrows are still recovering, and my last experience, when I told the Nail Tech that they were hurting me, she told me I was being "too sensitive", even though there were 3 visible cuts along my finger under my finger nail.
