Never coming back here. The nail tech kept telling me not to look at my hands and to look away so I looked at the tv which was so conveniently placed so I couldn't even see it. Then she tells me to relax my hands when cleaning my nails but when she started applying the nail polish, she asked me to spread my fingers out and said "don't touch me." WTF?! Never have I been told that while getting my nails done. My hands basically cramped from keeping my hands like that. DO NOT BE A NAIL TECH!!! That's the nature of your job. Oh also, the gel nail dryer smelled weird. I told her about it and she said "yeah, it's like that." Ok scary. They also don't open their nail kits in front of you like other places. Who knows if they've been sterilized or not. I'm not surprised this place has 3 stars. It would've been nice because of the proximity, but not worth it. Don't waste your money here. Stopped in to get a pedicure, they invited me in with a smile and took me right in without an appointment. As I was getting my toes done I was listening to the loud TV that was displayed on the wall. Good place to go if you're looking for an economical alternative to a full spa. The ladies that work here are friendly, efficient and work quickly. I had 2 people working on my hands and feet - at times felt a bit rushed but it all looked fine. Unfortunately the paint didn't stay on past 3-4 days but it was pretty nonetheless. It was finally time to get rid of my Halloween pedi, and decided to come here (Thanksgiving Eve) to get my Thanksgiving/Christmas pedi done (and cuz I was nearby in this area, and had two hours to kill before going to AMC Santa Anita). Upon entering, I was greeted by the ladies here, and Kelly, the owner got me situated at Station #5. The manicurist, who worked with me, she was a nice lady, but I didn't catch her name. She was cool in letting me tryout the red polish before moving forward with it. I've picked out the red glitter I liked, but was worried that it might not be enough (bottle was half way done), and so my manicurist suggested that I pick another red color, and she'll place the red glitter on top of it. I ended up going with a blood red underneath, and it came out the way I liked it, yay!!! My manicurist cut my nails short, which I didn't mind since my toe nails seem to grow faster when I get it polished. She got out my hangnails, and my left toe she yanked a lil too hard, but thank gawd, it didn't bleed or get infected. I also liked that she let me inspect my toes nails (for shape, and applied pressure), before finalizing the polish. The best part of the pedi - the scrub and foot massage! She thoroughly cleaned my feet, and didn't pressure me into buying any add-ons (like callous remover, extra massages, etc), applied the right amount of pressure, and I was nicely relaxed. The only thing I didn't like about her pedi technique was that some of my nails weren't painted all the way (see pics). Overall, $15 for a regular pedi (didn't get a spa pedi) here was okay, but not worth the return. read more

The girls here are so nice, and make my nails look perfect! I've gotten regular white tips, pink and white, and clear with glitter gel, and a gel pedicure. I loved that my acrylic nails didn't look super thick, and also stayed on better then other places. Even the gel pedicure stayed on for over 2 month! So my friend and I actually went to this nail salon by accident. We were looking for another one but ended up here. But I'm glad we had a good experience. We were helped right away and they only had two spa machines for pedicures so we were the only ones on it. The ladies working were super friendly and efficient! My friend had mosquito bites on her leg and her lady helped her put some Asian ointment on it to help the itching. I thought that was super nice of her! My pedicure ended up being really nice and it has lasted for a few days so far so I'm satisfied! The price was $20 for the spa pedicure so it was pretty decent. I'm not sure if I would come back because I'm not from this area but this nail salon did the job for me! read more

I got my nails done before leaving for vacation. The woman doing my nails cut my cuticles too far, which made them bleed and have a displeasing appearance. I've been coming here since I was a kid. The owner (or manager, I'm not sure which) has always been really nice and friendly in my experience. I have never been unsatisfied with my manicure or pedicure and the do nice clean waxing. The only down side is the lotion the put after waxing makes me break out after so I would ask to not have that. Also, they can be a little blunt like "you sure you don't want your eye brows done?" hinting that they look bad -__- but they could also just be trying to make the sale haha. overall this place is alright in my book. read more

Usually come here for pedicures and eyebrow waxing. Not sure who the main person's name is, maybe Kelly as the previous reviewer stated, but I love it when she does my eyebrows. As for pedicures, they have tons of employees. They're all nice and quick. If I could give them 0 stars I would. If you have long nails and want them long then this is not the place for you. I went in with long nails and came out with nails so short that it hurts still after three days of having my nails done. OK I will let you know how it happened. I wanted a mani pedi. So, the first women started with my pedi, I am picky and explained what I wanted and she listened. Then the another ($@&)) women came to do my hands. Before she started, I explained to hear what I wanted, and normally I do not let them use the nail clippers but I felt she understood, as I very clearly explained that they did not need to be even and square slightly rounded and she responded back to me yes. MY BAD!!! She proceeded to cut my nails and I should have looked but the lady doing my feet started talking to me. Again they are sooooo short that it hurts.They keep tearing off because they were not even smoothly finished. Then the way it was handled. I was soo upset and proceeded to tell them, as I was talking the other table started talking loudly so that the owner wouldn' t hear. I only realized that after the fact. Also when I asked to speak with her it was too late she left. Grrrrrrrrrrr NEVER will I let them cut my nails. Never will I return to this no nail shop!!!!!!!!!!!!! OK as I was writting the review, I got so steamed up I decided to call them to actually tell the manager. She seemed to have known about it. She apologized and also said I should have spoke to the manager right away. I have to say I was so so upset it took everything I could not to go postal or tazmanian. At that point she said, why didn't you get the manager right away? As if it were my fault for waiting. Well, I lost it at that point in the conversation. I explained, I bassically paid for my nails to be ruined. Yes, they will grow back but not for months and that is not what I wanted or went in for. . How in the world would that had made a difference? My nails were gone and the women made me pay before. I proceeded to explain this to her and she kept arguing, finally she said, what can I do? So it is only fair to include this in the review. She offered my money back. That still will not make up for my nails so short they hurt and are always dirty now and hard to clean. Really disappointed because I've been coming to this salon for almost 5 years. I've started consistently wearing acrylic nails recently and so of course since this is my go-to salon for eyebrows and regular polish I come here. I've gotten new sets 3 different times here and every single time the price increased. When I tried to ask about this, I was met with hostility from both the workers and what appears to be the owner. She then tried to claim that the last time I came, I had three broken nails and when I told her that absolutely was not true and that I only had one, she said that I probably am not remembering correctly and tried to deny raising prices even though I have pictures and bank statements to back up my claim. Honestly I wouldn't have minded paying the extra couple bucks to support a small business, but to be treated as if I'm stupid and then lied to in order to get more money from me is just wrong. Really unhappy with this situation and I definitely don't recommend coming; you're better off taking your business someplace else. read more

I hate to write a bad review for these ladies because they were very nice, but. I was in town last week and decided to get a manicure while I was there. I also decided at last minute to get a pedicure since they said it wouldn't take long as I was pressed for time- which it didn't. I'm sorry to say though, this was the worst manicure/pedicure I've ever had. The woman working on my finger nails made several of my cuticles bleed and the one working on my toenails made one of my toes bleed- and left a couple nails crooked. I had to come home and trim them afterward. The cuticles around my fingers were red and sore for days and now nearly a week later I have so many hang nails (on 5 fingers). I'm assuming from whatever they soaked my nails in. My nails were 100 times better before I went in. It was a complete waste of money and I'm sorry I had them done. read more

I started coming here because my former manicurist did not remove the gel properly and my once strong nails became paper-thin.
