Just left a FABULOUS nail appointment ! It was my first time at Envie and so I wasn't sure what to expect. Luckily, Leigh Ann and Tina were my nail techs and they were AMAZING. So careful, thorough and gentle. Highly recommend them both. Plus, their chairs are so comfortable and they have classical music playing in the background. I came for the first time and asked for an ombré French gel mani with chrome. The first nail technician did a great job on my cuticles and was very sweet. Then later Helen came and applied the white ombré powder and chrome on top. I liked how it came out and the place was nice and clean. read more

I had a disappointing experience during my recent visit. I called at 11:37 AM to schedule my appointment and was flexible with my timing. Despite arriving on time, I waited approximately 30 minutes before being seen and ended up being late to my next appointment. What was especially frustrating was the explanation I received. While waiting, I overheard staff discussing that the schedule should have been arranged differently and that more time should have been allocated for a previous client. Later, I was told the delay was due to other customers arriving late and that appointment times cannot be guaranteed. Respectfully, how the salon manages its schedule should not become the customer's responsibility. If significant delays are expected, customers should be informed in advance. I have been to this salon before for both my nails and toes and had a positive experience, which is why I decided to return. Unfortunately, this visit was very different. The issue was never the price. I don't mind paying for quality work. I understand that nail removal is a service that should be paid for, and I have no issue paying for professional removal. However, I was told the removal cost more because it takes longer and is done more carefully. After the service, my natural nails were left with visible roughness, uneven surfaces, and divots. The manager told me that the damage could not be smoothed out, which left me questioning why more of the product was not soaked off rather than continuing to file the nail. If the end result is visible roughness, divots, and damage to my natural nails, it is difficult to understand the value of paying a premium for the service. If my nails were going to be left in this condition, I could have removed the product myself at home without paying for professional removal. What was most frustrating was feeling dismissed when I raised my concerns. The service was only discounted after I spoke up. Had I not said anything, I would have paid full price for a service that left my nails in this condition. I have attached photos of my nails before and after removal so others can see the difference for themselves. I am leaving this review because customers deserve clear communication, respect for their time, and services that match what is being promised. Unfortunately, this experience fell short in all of those areas. read more

I've been coming to Envie for a year now for both my manicures and pedicures. I'm always happy with how my nails come out. I get dip powder and gel, and I've never had any issues with chipping or breaking like I've had with other salons. The workers there are always nice as well. I'm happy to be a repeat customer and will continue to recommend to my friends!! read more

Everytime I come to Hellen, I get what I want but 100x better. My services are always done perfectly and I will never go anywhere else. I been going to Hellen for 10+ years, and despite me moving, I still always make the drive (I used to live in Valencia and now I am in Irvine). I love coming here, it's always feels like I'm coming to my second home. Hellen is my second home Also, if you're a mother taking your daughter to get her nails done for the first time, Hellen is amazing! She always makes it age appropriate. Nice staff. They provide manicures, pedicures & lash extensions which is what I requested. James who provided the service is very polite and helpful. His table has a massage option which he made sure was on throughout the entire session. I got a classic full set and they look very natural. I liked that they were able to accommodate me when I arrived early. read more

I took my child to have a mani & pedi on Sunday Feb 2. The service was mediocre. My child has gone to get her nails done at different salons and they always soak hands and feet, the normal procedures. They said they don't do that for kids, which, is ridiculous to me. They wanted her to be in a station that had clearly not been cleaned since the previous client, there was buffing dust and nail clippings; I literally had to tell them to clean it or switch stations. I'm very disappointed because the 4 or 5 times I've gone, I've had good service. read more

I have been coming here over 3 years. My two daughters, partner and I love this place. All the manicurists from the Tina, Eva, Lisa, Teresa, and of course the boss lady Helene, everyone is so talented and courteous. They all take time to make sure that your manicure and pedicure are perfection and beautiful. Normally we don't have to get our nails done for at least 6 weeks. Nonetheless Envie's has unbeatable and reasonably good prices. Love this place Thank you ladies! read more

It has been over five years since I started coming to Envie for all my nail and pedicure needs with Hellen and Katie, and I don't think I could ever betray them! Hellen has always been my go-to for getting my nails done, whether acrylic or gel-x. She always does the most fantastic job, with the utmost professionalism and perfection on every set I have asked for! She has never failed me on any design I have asked for and has never said no to a design I brought her. She always tells me she cannot do the same, but she always tries to make it as similar as possible! I honestly would have to say I might be one of the more challenging clients to work with because both of my middle fingernails grow out crookedly, so it's hard to find techs who know what they're doing and how to make them perfectly straight without having me to tell them or twist my finger in any way to make it look right. Katie has always been my favorite person to go to when it comes to getting a pedicure! She is always precise and professional with every client and every appointment. She always takes every step to complete the job to the fullest extent! She is always extremely friendly and communicative with her work! Every time I get a pedicure with her, it is done perfectly! Even with my pinky toe, she always seems to make it look like I have a WHOLE** toenail because I have half a toenail! lol I will tell you if something needs to be corrected or if something does not seem right; however, with Hellen and Katie, I have never seemed to have to say anything to them. I have never had to tell Hellen that one of the tips was crookedly or that it needed to look right. I have loved every single freestyle or design I have wanted in all the five years I have been a client there. At this point, we are all family, and their love for their clients is impressive and unseen! Envie Nail Lounge is the place to be and go if you want to be treated and loved like family! I made an appointment a couple days before, and fortunately, they had availability. I walked in at my appointment time and was seated. The space was clean and had a nice aesthetic! The lady who did my nails was very attentive. She did an amazing job with my deep French tip nails. I'm going on a two week trip so I'm hoping they hold up... will update later! I've been coming to this nail salon for years and they do not disappoint. They are appointment only so I suggest giving them a call before coming in. Every time, I couldn't be happier with the service I received. I've gotten my nails done from Hellen, Katie and Lyna and they are all wonderful. They are super detailed and always comply to your request. If you show them a photo of the nails you would like, they can recreate it easily or provide different suggestions to get to the look you want to achieve. The salon itself is super clean and has a relaxing and inviting atmosphere with modern decor and comfortable seating. They are a little pricier than other nail salons nearby BUT I have to say it's because the service and the products they use are unmatched. I would get the gel x and it usually last about a month with an occasional filler to clean it up a bit. I'm always happy leaving their salon. They make sure to check if you like their work and it comes out flawless. Also they have a wide variety of colors to choose from. I've been to this place twice now and the first time I went here on 2/12, I had a really good experience with my gel mani and pedi. I remember the gel mani was like $35 and i forgot what the pedi price was, but the total of my requested designs were additional pricing, so it all came out to be $95. This time around i decided to just get a gel mani with the cute tree branch design on my thumbs for both hands and it came out to be $40. I was also really impressed by (i think it was Helen)'s artwork, because she did exactly what i showed her for the picture on my phone and fast! Other places do not compare, so i appreciate her expertise and efficiency so much. The only thing I'm just bummed about was that this second time around my gel mani chipped in less than 2 weeks compared to when i first got a mani and pedi that lasted almost a month. Maybe last time i wasn't so active since i was on vacation compared to this time around when I'm constantly typing on my computer at work, playing sports and also dying my hair lol. I also felt kinda awkward talking to the nail tech (not helen) that did my nails at times to let her know i wanted some designs before she puts on more coating since the she was talking to the other workers across the room. I kinda wish i could get to know more of the nail techs there and build a relationship with them, but i think there may be a language barrier. Also, I think the first time i went, i got seated right away with an appointment, but the 2nd time around i accidentally made the wrong turn and got there 10min late from my appointment and had to wait like 20min to be serviced, which i didn't mind and i appreciate that the nail tech also apologized for the wait. Nevertheless, I'm still content with my mani and pedi experience from the last 2 times and will still come back again. I just wanted to share my experience and point out things that happened and could be improved. read more

This nail salon is definitely among the best. The interior was nice and clean, plus they decorated so cutely for Christmas. The staff were all very kind! They kind of treat you like they're your aunties haha..They even threw in some hand cream as a gift! My cute gel set was only $55 + tip, making it the most affordable salon I've ever been to. I had my builder gel manicure today by LeAnne for the first time at Envy. I was pleased with my manicurist she was kind, professional and very detailed with her work. My nails look natural and smooth soth no bumps or irregularities. LeAnne was well spoken and gave me I needed and was helpful. Unlike the other manicurist Leah was was loud, rude and short with me at the checkout counter. I really should not have given a 5 star review because Leah was rude when I was trying to pay for services. she actually questioned if the nail color (my ow) that I brought was MINE!?! I told her YES and the. she questioned what color and yelled it out across the room to another nail tech. This was uncalled for! Perhaps the owner needs to hire more empathetic and professional manicurists. And not to mention certain nail techs will stand by you taking their language while looking at you(me) or customers laughing. THATS RUDE! I'm almost compelled to never return back again and spread this negative encounter to my coworkers at City of Hope Hospital and friends. if it wasn't for Leanne doing such a great job i wouldn't come back. I hope that you update your pricing information as well. Your credit card machine never seems to work EVER. I was told by Leah at the checkout counter that my pedicure was $88!!!!! that's insane! I paid $150 - $62 for my builder gel manicure with french tip and a regular pedicure for $88 !! THAT CANNOT BE CORRECT. Please advise if that pricing was in fact accurate. Helen , the person who did my nails super rude always with attitude...it was my 4th time I went today there and of course left before we started the nails ...she had the attitude that always made me feel like I own her something and besides that, I was always scared to ask her anything because of the ton she was responding...the last 3 times I paid and every time she was changing me a different price I was ok maybe she did something extra or whatever...my nails are super simple and one solid color ...so today was the pick I went there I said Hi with smile she didn't say Hi back like always walked with attitude infront of me and staring telling me that my nails is more job etc Dear, Helena I feel sorry for you ...get a nice attitude and smile ...and don't be jealous of beautiful ladies Good luck and never back Plus the tips I left you never deserve them as well Bye read more

Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!

One star because I Iiked Katie. I wish I could give this place negative stars. Did not leave happy and was way overcharged for Helen doing half the job any other place would normally do. Towards the end the lady Helen cut me deep enough for my skin to break and bleed. She told me to wash my hands and immediately put drop stops in the cut without me even having time to ask what it was and what's in it. Thanks for over pricing and cutting me. And 9 hours later and my cut still burns. Not a happy customer. I'm only writing this because my thumb is still cut open and burns more than ever. Horrible and painful experience read more

By then, my nails had already been cut much shorter than I wanted, and the situation could not be undone. Such lack of communication and respect for what I had actually requested.
