Scheduled my wax, and the day of my appointment I had to schedule for a baby sitter and canceled an overtime shift to come for my very first wax appointment. I showed up and waited 10 minutes until I reached out, to which she stated she didn't have my contact information to let me know she couldn't make it. Wanted to get a lash lift cause let's be honest I'm a minimalist - hehe we said not to use the word "lazy" - and I like to roll out of bed and go. So far my lashes are on point, I rubbed my eyes the night of by accident and they're still good! I was in and out in 30 and I love that she talks you through the process - I'm going to touch your lid now - you'll feel pressure - changing my gloves to set the timer... all professionals should do this and it's a habit that most people lose so thank you for doing this, made me feel so much at ease even though I've had lash lifts before. We talked more about her other services and I will be setting up a wax soon - just HELLA nervous since I haven't had one in years and I've also been curious about lightening so I might go for a 2fer. I booked an appointment after seeing all the good reviews on Yelp but ended up very disappointed. She texted me the day of my appointment asking if it was possible to move it to a much later time. I told her I wasn't available later and she completely ghosted me after that. She did not show up to the appointment at all and did not answer when I called and texted. Came here for a Brazilian wax and heard about the studio through Classpass. Crista was absolutely the best - I was in and out within 15 minutes for Brazilian wax and it was definitely one of the least painful waxes I have had. Entrance to the studio is off Mohawk and Rosemead and you take the stairs up to the entrance of Q3. Don't let the building fool you, the studio was clean and spotless and super cute with pink everywhere. I highly recommend! read more

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Wax Room LA and I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The star of my visit, however, was undoubtedly the professional service provided by Christa. From the moment I walked in, Christa was welcoming, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. She took the time to explain the process to me, answering any questions I had with patience and detail. Her expertise was evident, and it was clear that she takes great pride in her work. What really set Christa apart was her dedication to ensuring a comfortable experience for her clients. Waxing can often be an uncomfortable process, but Christa's approach and technique made it as painless as possible. Furthermore, her professionalism didn't end with the service. I get my lashes curled and tinted about every month and a half with Christa and she is the best! I've gone to places before where the the curl starts to fade within a couple weeks. With Christa, the curl lasts for like 6 weeks and the tint lasts a long time too. Everyone always thinks I'm wearing mascara and can't believe it when I tell them I'm not. plus, she's always so sweet and asks about your day and makes the whole experience a great one.
