So disappointed at this nail salon. Tracy is super nice. Been coming here for about a year. Like 3 months ago a new girl started doing my nails. Every salon I've been to, they remove a nail that is falling. Well this girl didn't. But I said hey, they know what they are doing and never said anything. So one day, close to getting my fill. I was getting out of my car when I hit my nail and it feel. When I looked at my nail I was so disgusted. My nail was green. Yes green. So right away I Google it. Just to check I was not dieing. ...sure enough it said that when the nail is lifting and it doesn't get removed, bacteria starts getting in there. I been putting alcohol daily to dry it out. Hope it doesn't get worse. :( Needless to say, I am never coming back here. read more

Thank you to the lady who did my nails , she took me out of my pain. I had my nails done at another place and they left bits of acrylic. Which caused my nails to break and holy hell , I was in PAIN. I came here since I was in the area and she recommended to not paint my nails so they can have time to heal but of course I wanted something nude. I've been to nail salons where I felt so uncomfortable and not welcomed, but this place made me feel the opposite. They always provide service quickly, even without an appointment. Ive been coming here for pedicures for a while now and never had issues. Prices are average...not too pricey. read more

I really like to go to MP nails. It can be busy on Saturdays , but I try to make appointments rather than walk in. They do a terrific job. The owner is very gracious and friendly. Another big plus for me is that it is well ventilated so I don't feel like I am breathing in toxic fumes like in other salons! read more

Came in to this location because I needed something quick. I am assuming it is under new ownership, as they have remodeled and renamed this location. Walked in and was quite impressed. Very clean, and welcoming. New spa chairs and baths, tables, and decor. The staff was extremely friendly and even brought me a nice cold bottle of water as I got my nails done. This place is Awesome. When I am visiting my Mom (who lives in Monrovia) we go get our nails done together at MP nails. My mom is 78 years young and Tracy (The owner) shows my mother a lot of Love, Patience and attention. Tracy spoils my mother. One day my mom messed a nail up and we went back the next day. BEWARE!!!!The ABSOLUTE WORST experience of my life. DO NOT go here!!! CHEAP PRODUCTS, EXPIRED POLISHES!!! Ive been getting my nails done for 15 years now. I went in for acrylics. (my first time there..) My stylist was Tracy. It was around 445 when I walked in. She seemed so rushed like she wasnt paying attention. she kept tending to the people who came in after me .I was confused because she seemed to be skipping over alot of the usual things the ladies do, filing down my nails, my cuticles...etc. She quickly glued on the acrylics and began to place the powder mix on top, but she wasnt looking and kept putting the powder mix OVER my cuticles up my fingers. She didnt seem to care. Long story short all of the nails looked warped and way too thick on certain parts. She also didnt seem to care about filing down the sides and left them really jagged .I was left with nail glue ALL over my fingers and hands which she began to literally pick off my skin. I tried to be nice and still tipped her. The next day my gel polish was filled with air bubbles and seemed to be peeling away (appeared to be expired polish) i noticed that 3 of my nails were lifted and POP! A NAIL CAME OFF!!!!! I returned and asked her why this happened and she just kept pretending to not understand me. She was the only one in the shop and I wanted to give her a chance to fix it, so she quickly broke pieces of the rest of the nails, BUT LEFT THEM ON and put MORE powder mix on them!!! My nails were french tip so you could see all of the gross broken pices in the clear part of the nail. One nail was so badly warped it was curving over, and when I asked why she was doing that she again, pretended not to understand. I left so upset! Well that was yesterday. This morning, TWO MORE NAILS CAME OFF!!! So I pulled at the rest and the came right off. NEVER. EVER. AGAIN. read more
