Barbacoa tacos
Carolyn H.

Overall, my husband and I enjoyed our lunch here. The queso and chips were yummy, he loved his barbacoa taco plate, and I liked the beef quesadillas. However, there was a little too much grease on these dishes, so beware of that. They also charge for each hot sauce, small thing of jalapeños, and pico which we thought was too extra. Our waiter was kind and it was clean inside.

Las Mananitas serves delicious Mexican food! Their service is a little slow but their food comes out incredibly fast and it's so well made. You can tell they make it with fresh ingredients, the cheese was just so cheesy! I would recommend their margarita flight, you can pick any 4 out of 10 flavors. It's a little pricey but a good splurge

I've come here a few times and I must say that they are very prompt with their service. They really know how to treat you as a customer. Now on to the food: tonight I had the chimichanga with two prickly cactus margaritas (yes they are strong and yes I'm writing this a little tipsy) and everything was very good. They do push a LOT of grease your way so watch out. For the chimichanga, I would give it a 3.5/5 only because of the greasiness and the soggy non fried tortilla. I love that they are cool with me subbing more rice for the bea The drinks are awesome! They really know how to get you feeling great lol! I HIGHLY recommend any and all of the drinks.

If you want genuine Tex Mex, this is IT. We've come here ever since it opened, and every other restaurant that has tried to compete just pales in comparison. We always get one or two Katy combos with charro beans and beef fajitas and a small queso to split. It's a little bit of everything on a plate. Other favs include the spinach quesadillas, chicken fajitas, and chicken quesadillas. Food Pros: A booooozy house margarita The green sauce is everything. I could eat a full bowl of it and still never get sick of it. The best cheese enchiladas. Food Cons: Charro beans can be a little watery, but that's just me being picky. Ps it's their 16th anniversary!! PLEASE SUPPORT THEM especially during this crisis. They are staying safe and have curbside pickup available.

Margarita Flight, Strawberry, Cucumber, Mango and Prickly Pear.

Went to one of my favorite restaurants...Las Manianitas for appetizers and drinks. They added a new Margarita flight to the menu and it was so great! It comes with four six ounce Margaritas that are perfect to share with friends if you are not a big drinker. Absolutely delicious flavors. We had the Strawberry, Mango, Cucumber and Prickly Pear and they were all so good, but Cucumber was my favorite! It tasted like Cucumber Agua Fresca with tequila in ti of course! Great waitstaff and service as always! I'm definitely going to head back.

Always great service! Enchiladas and tacos al carbon are yummy. Parking is difficult during dinner time on weekends.

This place has one of the best drinks, both of my our drinks was delicious . I'd come back here just for the drinks alone. The food wasn't too bad. We had one of the worst dining experiences ever at Ambriza La Centerra. After living in Houston for…read more15 years and dining all over the city, this was by far the most disappointing restaurant experience we've had. What made it even more frustrating is that we've been to the Cypress location many times, and every single visit there has been exceptional -- great food, great service, and consistently enjoyable. Unfortunately, the La Centerra location was the complete opposite. We waited over an hour for our food, only to receive the wrong appetizer. The fajita plate arrived cold and without rice, beans, or tortillas. We sent both dishes back. The replacement appetizer -- ceviche tostadas -- finally arrived, but it was overloaded with lemon to the point of being unbearably sour. Meanwhile, there were still no tortillas, rice, or beans in sight. No drink refills, no updates, and barely any service during the entire wait. After another long stretch of waiting, we finally asked the server what was happening, only for her to return and tell us the kitchen was closing and they no longer had tortillas, rice, or beans available. At that point, after nearly 1.5 hours, we walked out with nothing but a to-go box of fajita meat. To the manager's credit, they removed the appetizer and fajita charges from the bill, but the experience itself left such a bad taste that it completely overshadowed the gesture. Extremely disappointing, especially compared to the excellent standards we've experienced at the Cypress location. Sadly, we will not be returning to this location.
