Favorite go-to Mexican restaurant. Their enchiladas are my favorite, but just about anything is excellent and the service is always great.

Just a heads up for anyone thinking about eating here--be careful. We were given a lunch menu and ordered from it, assuming those were the prices. When the bill came, everything was charged at full dinner price, about $10 more per plate. No one mentioned anything beforehand, so it felt really misleading. Went to brunch today at Hacienda and really enjoyed it. The portions were very reasonable along with the prices. Service was okay, with a noticeable language barrier among some staff. The tv by us played 4 year old ads but the interior was clean (besides the sticky menus). I got 'The Hangover' which was a decent sized bowl or menudo along with 2 street tacos. In my opinion the menudo was good but the street tacos were underwhelming. I would order the menudo again but I would definitely think twice about the tacos. Hacienda is our favorite "go-to" place in Fulshear. The whole staff is friendly and always accommodating to special requests. They have a great indoor area and can accommodate larger parties. They've done a great job on their outdoor patio as well! The food is a tex-mex style but they or have some more authentic Mexican tastes/dishes. Definitely try their new corn tortillas! Our favorite dishes are the Fajitas Norteña, Gabriel's salad and kids love their quesadillas. If you're looking for someone to cater, they do a fantastic job! Had a great first dinner in Houston! I landed yesterday afternoon and my friend suggested we get Tex Mex, which is always fine with me! I came here last time I visited and wasn't disappointed. This time was no different. We were seated in the patio, and it was a gorgeous night. Right off the bat we ordered margarita flights and guacamole. There are tons of flavors of margaritas you can order from, which I love. I ordered lime, coconut, watermelon, and passion fruit. The watermelon was my favorite, I love all things watermelon, and it came with a tajin rim! The guac was good, super fresh. There were massive hunks of avocado in it and I prefer a bit smaller- but that's just personal preference. To eat I got steak fajitas with corn tortillas. The steak was seasoned wonderfully and tasted great with the tortillas. I wish there would have been more peppers with the veggies and sour cream served with the plate of items that come with them. The beans were great that came with the dish, and it also came with rice. We'll probably be back next time I visit. Already thinking about what flavors I'll get with my flight :) read more

We drove out here to Fulshear by recommendation,restaurant is beautiful , comfortable booth to sit and eat ,they also have outdoor seating ,salsas were delicious,chips were a little hard ,I give this restaurant 2 stars because the waitress didn't seem to care about customers ,was on her phone ,took awhile to order because of it , she wasn't attentive to our table ,for refills and such ,secondly the enchiladas were good but had a BOLD flavor of the corn tortilla and would be a hit or miss depending on your taste ,the taco and the cheese puff we're delicious as well as the guacamole - really good ,other than that we did talk to the manager about everything and our experience ,hopefully the waitress can find her niche ,because it really ruined it for us as first time customers read more

Yummmm! I am focusing my food intake to be low carb and this was perfect (minus the rice- I just didn't eat it, next time I'll ask for extra veggies)! The carne asada was cooked perfectly and full flavor. Paired nicely with fresh vegetables and cheese. I opted for charro beans which were tender and delicious. First time here wife heard good things about this place. I also read the reviews on this place and they were all good but I have to say it was not all that people were saying. First the bad our waitress was not very attentive to us the bus boy was more attentive than she was, she only checked on us like 3-4 times she also had a little attitude and I didn't appreciate that. Really great experience tonight. I think they've improved a lot over the years. We typically thought their takeout was better than dining in but tonight my opinion changed. Very fast and friendly service. Everything was clean and there were lots of people tonight but they didn't have any issues. The food was delicious. The queso came out and they actually flambéed it which we did not expect. The enchiladas were delicious and I loved the charro beans. The large Margarita was enough for one person. This is my local Tex-mex place. I've been multiple times and they always have great service. I love their enchiladas. My wife especially like the chicken sour cream enchiladas. For me, I'm a big fan of their Tampico plate, the Cochinita pibil, and the mole enchiladas. Last but not least, they also have good margaritas. I like this place. My wife and I go there for the street tacos because they're really good and typically 5stars. We've been several times and have always had good service. This last time, our waitress(lady with blondish hair) was not attentive or friendly at all. The bus boy was way more attentive and polite. He helped me pick out the Street Beef Corn Tacos & they did not disappoint!! I loved the homemade jalapeño sauce that came with them on the side as well as the roasted chili pepper too. Our go to Authentic Mexican restaurant. You'll be so happy you tried them. Recommendations - Large Top Shelf Don Julio Margarita on the rocks, salted rim. Everything on the menu is very good. I highly recommend the Guisado De Puerca - chili spiced pork stew meat. I get it every time and love it. The staff is attentive and always makes great recommendations. TERRIBLE SERVICE! We needed a table for 12, we were offered a table for 7 and told the other's in our party could stand by the table. I've never been to a restaurant where half the people in the party are told to stand! We asked if there was room on the patio so we could all SIT at the table. We had to move 3 tables on the patio ourselves to accommodate our party. We sat and were told to wait a little bit to order. IT TOOK AN HOUR BEFORE THE SERVER CAME TO OUR TABLE!! By the time he came to take our order no one even wanted to eat anymore. We watched people come and go while we sat and waited to place our order. First time here. Came in just before noon on a Saturday. Dining area was fairly clean but the floor was so greasy that I had a hard time not slipping. For such a large building, it's very small inside. Can definitely say that I won't be back. Didn't take a pic of our food. Food was beyond bland. My wife and I ate here for the first time a week back. The place was visually appealing and the service was remarkable. Our waitress was very helpful in our selections, she was friendly, customer oriented and professional. She checked on us several times and our glasses were never empty. The food was good and there was plenty of it on the plate. My only reason for the 3 stars, is the price of the meal. The food in comparison to prices was not satisfactory. Two drinks, one appetizer and two meals (combination enchilada plate and street tacos) was, with a tip and we spent a smooth $80.00 dollars. This is outrageous, my fault for not paying attention in the beginning while ordering. Don't think your going to eat at your every day Tex-Mex place, food maybe, pricing not so much. So yummy! Poblano enchies are the best! Guacamole app was the best I've had (we like less chunky veggies in ours and more of the plain avocado chunk kind). Waiter was great and the manager stopped by all the tables to check on the customers. It was a really great first experience for me and my 15 year old son. This was one of the first restaurants we tried after moving here. The service was good but the place was nearly empty so I can't say how it is when it is busy. The food is about what you would expect. There are better places around but they cost more and there are worse places that cost the same. This is a great family restaurant for consistent food and good service. I have eaten here three times now and will return maybe. Food is ok but not wow. Drinks are a bit weak for the prices. Service is good to the point of overbearing. I've noted a lot of families with small kids. They all seem to be enjoying themselves. However, the customer service alone is worth the 5-star review. Despite the fact that it was a busy Friday night, we were treated as though we were one of the only customers there. Normally I've enjoyed going here, but not on Sunday August 28th. Why? I think on Sundays the main cook is on holiday and the B-Team is cooking. Last time, the guacamole was the best ever. Some mashed, some diced, perfectly seasoned. This time? A bunch of equally sliced cubes with WAY too much lime on it. I could almost see the chef preparing this while muttering to himself, "here you go, white boy." Then i got carnitas. Perfectly seasoned, same as last time. But not flaky and crispy.
