Dropped off three simple items for dry cleaning after I was told they could be done the next day as I needed them in two days. Was told they would be ready after 5 PM. I came in after 5 PM and found several customers in the lobby waiting to be assisted prior to me. One of the customers was advised they had lost her garment and this person was also flying out of town the following day and needed it, I thought well this can't be good for me. After they assisted that customer and they did find it, however, the services had not been completed. They were polite enough to provide the garment back to her free of charge. After waiting for 15 minutes they finally realized I had not been assisted yet even though I was standing directly in front of them waiting patiently, I was told my items had not been completed and I would have to come back the following day after 5 PM which is already after when I would have needed them. As I no longer have the required attire for the event, my employer could reprimand me. I will not be returning and do not recommend this business based on this experience Went back to pick up my remaining two items the on the next day after they were supposed to be done. Was told the conveyor system was broken and they couldn't retrieve my items. I tried this business. I rarely write reviews but felt the need to warn others about the worst dry cleaning service I have ever received. The customer service is absolutely terrible and my seven items were not rung up properly during the initial drop-off. I then received a notification that my items were done and proceeded to go pick them up. Upon arrival, I was handed my comforter and was rung up. My other six clothing items were nowhere to be found and were not connected to the account. After insisting that I did in fact drop off six clothing items with the comforter together, the front clerk went to look in the back for the items under the name Jane Doe. Keep in mind that the total amount of clothing brought in was worth approximately $400 dollars and was now missing. After waiting another 20 minutes, the clerk brought out five of the clothing items and said she was unable to find the sixth item. I was then rung up and was told I could not use the 25% coupon on the entire order like the coupon said in fine print. I left feeling frustrated and upset my one item was still missing. After returning today to pick up the last item that was supposedly found, I was again disappointed when handed a J. Jill pink blouse that did not by any means match the description left about the one missing item. I was told I would receive a call tomorrow so they could look for the missing piece of clothing, without any sense of urgency or respect. If you have any unique or irreplaceable pieces of clothing, I urge you not to use Lapel's dry cleaning services as you may not receive them back. read more

Called on Sunday (how awesome to be open on a Sunday!) to have a suit dry cleaned. I was told it would be ready by the following Tuesday after 5pm. Dropped it off Monday morning around 9am and already received a text stating it was ready at 1:30‼ That's awesome service. I look forward to seeing you next time! read more

Update: the manager was very helpful in resolving this issue. He returned my charge for the alteration which I appreciate. Additionally, their dry cleaning service has been fine, so I am altering my rating based on these things. Original review:I hate to leave bad reviews!! This one is regarding the tailoring. When I originally went to get me suit jacket sleeves shortened slightly, the tailor insisted they should be shorter (about 1 inch above the wrist) than I had liked. I repeatedly told her that I prefer them longer (upper hand, normal suit arm length). She told me I needed them shorter because my "arms are large". The price for the job was 60$. I had it rushed for a job interview 6 days from the drop of date. When I received the suit back, the arms were about 2 inches above my wrist with arms at my side. The buttons were crooked and overlapping, arm holes were slanted, lining was hanging out from the inside of the jacket and chalk marks all over the clothing despite having it cleaned afterward. We asked for it remedied. I received the jacket back today with lining and arm length corrected (almost long enough, which I accept) but now with tears in the fabric. The manager refused to refund the service for the coat (we also had pants hemmed which came out okay). At this point my $200 jacket is ruined, and my 60$ tailoring fee lost, and 260$ later I will be wearing a jacket with torn sleeves to the interview. read more

Would give zero stars if possible. This place had absolutely no professional courtesy whatsoever. I brought a bridesmaids dress here to be dry cleaned on Tuesday January 17 for a wedding I was in on Saturday the 21. I was given a time of Thursday Jan 19 after 5pm to pick up. I go by on Thursday at 5:40 and the dress is not ready. How long does it take to dry clean ONE garment?? I said ok when will it be ready by? And no one could give me a straight answer. "Well just try coming back tomorrow" no follow up or update saying they were running behind or anything. So then Friday rolls around. I call at 8AM (they open at 7) and the dress is not done. The guy I talked to over the phone says "I don't know when it'll be done try calling again in the afternoon". No time frame. No apologies for the delay. Nothing. I show up at FOUR PM that Friday, mind you it has now been THREE days with no follow up, and my garment still wasn't ready. The response I get from the girl at the counter said "oh the cleaners left for the day and it's still not ready try coming back tomorrow morning." How are the dry cleaners gone already at 4PM on a Friday when you close at 7???? Mind you I'm IN a wedding on Saturday. I've never been to a dry cleaner that took longer than 2 days to clean one thing. I requested to just get my garment back. It was barely only dry cleaned, not pressed. This isn't even the worse part! After it was returned to me still wrinkled, I put a little steam to it and whatever cleaning agent they used left grease spots all over my bridesmaids gown!!! I will NEVER come here again. read more

They ruined my $200 Paige Denim jeans by not keeping the original hem. They created a new hem for the jeans that looks ridiculous. Never trust them with your alternations. The staff is also incredibly rude and unresponsive. read more

So far so good! I was "forced" to come to Lapels (albeit through a referral from a suited up friend) when my long time dry cleaners shut down! I'm happy with the friendly atmosphere and the quality of finished product is above and beyond! I believe I'm paying a little more now (because of the preferred client pricing at other place) but I'm hoping joining their preferred club will fix that! After going to several dry cleaners and my request being turned down I came to this cleaners to get my stuffed animals cleaned and the ladies at the store were so helpful and accommodating! My animals look brand new and I've had them for YEARS they did an amazing job thanks a million! The only reason it's not 5 stars is because I got a text that said it was done and not all of my items were finished my big bear hadn't been clean yet which was my main reasoning for going to the cleaners. I've been a customer of this location for over 2 years. The people are friendly and they do a great job with my clothes. You can set-up a plan by which, you drop your clothes off in a bag using their laundry chute on the side of the building, 24 hours/7 days a week, and they'll have them ready in two days! They also notify customers by email when their clothes are ready for pick up. The main reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because they have an occasional glitch and may cost you a day or two in picking up your clothes. Also - I've never had their on-site tailor do any alterations for me. The pricing isn't bad, but it's not cheap. I don't mind paying a little extra because they are efficient and have never damaged any of my clothes or garments. read more

Essentially right out the front door of Sprouts, across the parking lot** I love this place. Environmentally friendly with a 24-hour drop box. Nice people, good service. My clothes always look great and I am treated well as a customer. The ONLY reason I can't give it 5 stars is that they say "In by 9, out by 5", but I have only experienced that once. Most of the time, they ask "is [2 days from now] okay?" They seem to be behind quite a bit - which means they're getting good business. Where do I begin? For starters, this cleaners is open on Sundays which is a RARE feat in the Valley. Secondly, their hours are conducive for most people to drop off and pick up their orders. I love that I can walk, bike, or shoot over here quickly from my place. It is conveniently located between Williamsfield and Pecos near sprouts and other shopping stores. When I need a suit dry-cleaned for work, or I just have a special item to bring in I show up and it is done the same day, or early the next day. I have even been given discounts and have always been greeted kindly by the employees. Tried them as a new dry cleaner as I want to find something close to the house. Good: -Fast customer service and seem to take pride in working hard to please the customer -Haven't inquired about the advertised free pickup and delivery, but intriguing based on the "future of dry cleaning" claim Could be better, if I return: -third time there and took 4 shirts. Bill came and was over $20 ($5 plus each). I have only taken shirts and every other time was normal $2.50-$3.00 per piece. Waiting area had a crowd and the one employee out front was working hard to move fast and serve everyone, so no time to inquire. I was surprised the employee didn't think it was odd for such a high charge as she counted and handed me the pieces. A lot of perceived effort for only $20 for me to wait/return to inquire, but I guess I could have been more explicit when I dropped them off that I wanted the usual light starch or something. Not sure what treatment they gave the shirts for $5-$6 each... must have been extra special! Kind of a pain and now will feel like I need to ask each time about the plan for my shirts, since not sure how to avoid a reoccurrence... read more

This is the first time that I've used Lapels and I have absolutely no complaints. I always read the reviews before going to a new place and this one had a majority of positive reviews. Some people were upset with the pricing but I found it more than reasonable. Remember- you get what you pay for. I brought my Army Service Uniform in to be cleaned after having some things sewn on. It was in need of some serious TLC and Lapels provided it. For 5 dollars and some change I really can't complain. It looks good as new! Update: Jeff, the manager of the company, personally reached out to me to discuss the service that I received. He was patient and listened to what happened. He took full responsibility and apologized while also explaining how the situation may have taken place to begin with. I am confident that my concerns were addressed and that this won't happen again. I am revising my review to four stars as a result of the customer service I received. If I could give them zero stars I think I would. I took 13 shirts to get pressed. They had already been washed and were ready to go. I was told when I took them there that they would be $2.40 or so apiece. I was really surprised when I found two separate charges, one for $5.70 and another for $4.80. I asked the clerk what they were he replied that they "were probably silk shirts or couldn't fit on the standard machine". I told him that they were cotton shirts, both of them! I also mentioned that they were the same size as the other shirts to which he replied "I don't know man". The shirts themselves look great, but this was bait and switch, plain and simple. Love how my clothing comes back to me nice and neat. In my busy schedule and them close to my job it is convenience and wonderful. But the service in the evening by Amanda is horrible. I called to get the price on my clothing since they were ready. I was told by Amanda that I had to call back to get the price. I'm sorry to bothered you. I work in retail also and if I told that to a customer I would be in my manger office in a heart beat. The correct respond should of been I'm with a customer let me put you on hold. Needed a patch sewn onto a jacket. Over the phone, I was quoted at minimum of $8. Seems reasonable? So I decided to go. Arrive to the store, not greeted, no smiles from the two teenage boys working the front. I said I spoke with a woman (I assume the seamstress) about the patch. She says no, we don't do that. Then I remind her of who I was and that we just spoke on the phone, and then she magically remembers me. That being said, she might remember the price she quoted me? Nope. Tells me it'll be $18. A $10 price jump? For what?? She never told me why. Being the polite customer that I am (and sometimes shouldn't be), I merely accepted it. (I don't like unnecessary conflict; I usually bite my tongue) On top of that, lame front counter service from the two boys once again. Blank expressions, no smiles, no direction on how or when to pay, how or where to pick up my jacket when it was done. I had to ask HIM if we were done with the transaction, as there was no "Have a good one" or "See you Friday" or anything. PLEASE improve customer service and have consistent, solid prices. A great dry cleaner. We've never had any issues. They have an early bird drop off which is very handy if you can't make it to them when they are open. Their app lets you alert them when you are on your way so they have your dry cleaning picked and ready for you when you arrive. Staff is always helpful and friendly. Went to this dry cleaners with high hopes due to my friends all recommending it, but after receiving service, I will never go back. Had an event that I needed a uniform for, and after reading online about their "same day service" I thought it would be a great place to try. I immediately was told my items wouldn't be done until the day after at 5pm, even when coming at 7 am opening. After coming back the next day at five, I waited 15 minutes for the employee to check the back, only to be missing an item and saying I need to wait an additional day. The employee helping me was wonderful at making accommodations, but management only suggested complicated solutions that were extremely out of my way to do. Response and communication by the manager reflected heavily with the disorganization of the establishment. Instead of giving a refund, I ended my visit with a $5 off coupon on my next visit which I will never use, as I will never return. read more
