However, the pants needed to be altered; taken in, and hemmed. With only four days left before the dance, I frantically called all the nearby alterations shops to see if any of them would be able to squeeze it in. Fortunately for us, Happy Cleaners & Tailors said they could! We drove there immediately. The kind seamstress got to work and said she could have it done that Saturday, the day of the homecoming dance. Literally a few hours before it starts. I thanked her and paid. For a rush job, it was reasonably priced, I think it was between $30-40, which I thought was reasonable. We picked up the pants the day of the dance and they fit my son perfectly! I've since returned to drop off bedding for dry cleaning. The ladies who work here are always pleasant. I've had nothing but great experiences here!

But the fact that the lady didn't look closely and told me honestly which ones I should drop off to save me some money makes this only an average experience. Staff was friendly and it took them about 1 day to get it done. Update* I got a call from the store, they apologized for not taking a closer look at my cloth and refunded me my money and gave me a gift card. I would say that's going above what a regular business would do. So +2 stars for my experience and I will try them out again.

The first was my son's custom tailored mens suit jacket that had been worn only once. Tide gave us someone else's jacket, same color and brand but an older style and different material. it took a week just to convince them it was not ours. My son had an event he was required to wear a suit to and had to wear only his dress pants, shirt and tie. The customer service was terrible, had to speak with several different managers over a period of weeks. The fact that I had to prove we did not get our jacket was ridiculous. In the end, Tide would only cover part of replacing the jacket since it was not "new" (it was worn once) nor would the cover the cost of tailoring the replacement jacket. Just a few weeks ago they lost one of my husbands shirts. Like the jacket, they sent it home with someone else. It took 3 weeks for them to locate it and return it, and I received no communication from them when they found it. I just happened to stop by to check on it. Do not trust them. They are sloppy and have truly terrible customer service when there is an issue.

Most employees are very friendly and the manager is super efficient and kind. When I walk into their store, she knows who I am greets me and gets my dry cleaning quickly. I can definitely see a difference since she has taken over. We enjoy utilizing their loyalty program. They offer a wide range of services including dry cleaning, alterations, leather & suede cleaning, rug and drape cleaning, wash & fold, and even wedding dress preservation. I brought in 2 linen shirts, 1 pair of linen pants, and 1 pair of dress pants for dry cleaning, and everything came back looking fantastic. What really stood out was the linen pants. They had a stain at the bottom of one leg that other dry cleaners either missed or couldn't remove. Island Dry Cleaners got it out without any issue. Every piece was also crisply pressed. The service was fast and friendly. I dropped everything off Tuesday morning and received a text notification Wednesday late morning saying my clothes were ready for pickup -- a full day earlier than expected. Pricing was $7.50 per item, which is a little higher than what I'm used to paying, but absolutely worth it for the level of quality and service received. I'll definitely be back.

I can't comment on price since I've never done other items here, but they use quarters and have a coin machine if you need some. The woman here was really nice and helped guide me to the best machines to fit my comforter. The inside was a little rundown, but I guess that's expected given the woman working here said they are the only laundry mat in Gilbert for like 20 years or something to that. But the dryer I used was huge and could probably fit a whole closet of laundry in one session! Would come back here for sure.

Upon my first visit, here's my observations: 1. The laundromat is small but comfortable enough to get whatever washing you need done. 2. They have commercial machines available, some UV light washing machines and all machines take debit/credit card, which is useful. 3. It's good that this place has a restroom but here's the bad--it's run down, has no lock on the door for guests when in use, no toilet seat tissue covers, the toilet may clog up even with minimal use, there's water stains and mold buildup on the ceilings all of which are aesthetically unpleasant. Would I come here again? Sure. My needs are pretty basic so I won't dismiss this laundromat but maybe some improvement can be made to the restroom as this is important. It's neutrally accommodating.
