Like others who have posted, I prefer to use local family businesses also. Unfortunately going forward, not this one. I dropped off 9 western style shirts. 8 came back OK, although I haven't pulled them out and looked at them. The 9th shirt ended up torn. In their eyes it appeared some critter or dog chewed on it. I am trying to add photos but two things. I have no dogs or cats let alone critters running in my home let alone my hamper. I have updated my review. Bait and switch cleaners. I called for a price on a collared shirt to be cleaned, starched, and folded and the husband said it would be $5 a shirt. I dropped them off around 10am and Sandy says it will be $30 for the 5 shirts. I asked if they would be folded and she said well that will be more it's another 50 cents per shirt. That's fine. At 1pm Sandy calls and says it will now cost $38. Whatever, I'm going out of town and I need them. She calls back again and now wants $50! Bait and switch motherfrs. I've been in Mesa for 5 years and have gone to Bartoli for 4 of those 5 years. I travel for work 2-3 times a month and their speed and timely turn around times have never failed me. The posts about pricing are just downright abysmal and inaccurate. I have NEVER received a change in price on the various materials I've brought in from dress shirts, pants, bedding, and specialty clothing. read more

Should have read the reviews! They give you different prices when you drop off and when you pick up. They click on you and are just no customer friendly. Will not be returning. Clothes were done fine but not worth the price. So many other places so an equal or better job and are way more affordable. read more

Read the reviews. They are all the same for a reason. What business doesnt have to post any prices? Service was never good and that lady needs to go in the back and never come to the counter. You are your own worst enemy. Hire somebody pleasant and then post your prices see if that helps grow your business. I will never go there again. I dropped off my beige and blue comforter to be dry cleaned and when I got it back all the blue was bleached out of it! When I asked to be refunded my money she said "I don't believe there was any blue in it. I would have remembered." SO... I said I would drive all the way home to get my matching pillows, which I did. At that point she said, "Well, in that case it must be the manufacturers fault. You obviously brought me something that was "un-dry cleanable." What? I was at a loss for words. I showed her the tag that said "Dry Clean Only." She's like, well, I don't have to refund you because it's the manufacturer's fault. She finally Did refund me, but it was a huge ordeal and I have a ruined bedspread now. Also, they are SUPER expensive. I was definitely not happy with my experience. read more

Moved from a different state, and I couldn't ask for a better neighborhood dry cleaner option. Sandy is the nicest and always friendly, Also eager to help out. I have been going here for 4 years now, and very consistent about theQuality of service they provide. If there is a issue with one of my garments, they are very honest and caring on how to resolve it. Every time I have left items in my pockets, they have returned my items regardless of the importance. One last thing, I have never received a damaged clothing of my own, or surprisingly like others, they haven't lost one item. Keep up the Great Work!! read more

Dropped off my slacks and half jacket with no problems on a Saturday. They told me the clothes would be ready on Monday. Went Monday right after work to them pick up, and they informed me my clothes were already picked up. Um...no. They were supposed to be ready just today. The clerk looked and looked. Couldn't find my order, called the manager and they were to come in and look for my clothes. I left. Had to go back about an hour and a half later, they found my order. When I picked it up, they didn't offer me any type of discount for my inconvenience. Plus they charged me an average of $7 a piece!! The most expensive dry cleaners I have ever encountered. This is the worst cleaner I have ever visited. I took 6 of my husband pants 2 of his shirts and 1 of mine. First off Bartoli is very expencive they charged me $6.50 to launder 1 ladies shirt. I asked for my husbands 2 shirts to be laundered instead they dry cleaned them and charged me the difference with out calling me. The women I dropped the pants off to did not ask if they have permanent pant creases. So when they dry cleaned the pants 2/3 of the them are double creased, and the rest they realize were permanently creased. So I was charged extra to clean those pants, with out calling to inform me that it was extra or to ask if all of them had permanent creases.( They all do that is why 2/3 are double creased now) After all of this my husband went to speak to the manager to explain the issues on his way to work. The manager told him " I don't believe you bring them in and i will re clean them". After you messed the whole order up what makes me think you are going to get it right with that attitude. So I went on the website and called headquarters to speck to a manager over there. Who ever answered the phone was not very professional and could not tell me when a manager would be back. She took a message but I do not have high hopes. read more

TOTAL RIP OFF. She was too busy to give me my pricing so when I came to pick up my 7 items which I've paid maybe $40-$50 to get done at many other dry cleaners come to find out cost $85. They did an average job. I had to bring a couple of items back because they weren't pressed well - one item was still wrinkled and another had weird creases in the collar. They would get more stars if it weren't for the exorbitant prices they charge! Averages over $7.00 per item!!! My regular dry cleaner doesn't charge that much, and they pick up and deliver. They also don't have a price list online or at the store, which is both annoying and resulted in my complete shock when they charged my card. read more

Wish I could give O stars. I am so annoyed after going there with a comforter that is cotton and I requested it be laundered. I had a coupon for $19.99 and asked to use it. The note in the coupon said $5 more for dry cleaning and down filled items. This item had NO feathers and I specifically did not want it dry cleaned. ( horrid chemicals). Counter girl didn't seem to know what to do. Kept me waiting while she phoned her boss. Then tells me ALL household items need dry cleaned and bedspreads and comforters are household items. Why would they publish and mail out coupons for bedspreads and comforters and sleeping bags for $19.99 if they are going to boost the price to $27+ when a customer comes in with an item? Bait and switch? Poor customer relations in my opinion. No wonder this place is marked with four dollar signs. read more

I have been going to Bartoli's Cleaners for 10 years. After several disasters at other cleaners, I tried them. They have a drive through which was helpful for a busy mom normally with kids screaming in the car. I have never had a problem in all this time. It is a great family run business who take great pride in their work. They have become like family and I won't go anywhere else. I even took them my old wedding dress for preservation. They do everything from shirts to bedspreads and have alterations. If you ask, they can get many things done in the same day if you arrive early enough. read more

These people are unbelievable. I came here because I needed two suits to be dry cleaned as soon as possible and I just happened to be nearby. I came in on a Wednesday and the woman asked if Monday afternoon would be ok. When I stated I'd need them as soon as possible, after rolling her eyes she stated Friday after 5PM was the soonest they could be finished. Fine, whatever, two days go by. On Friday evening I return and to my surprise they wanted $32(!) for two suits. That's two jackets and two pairs of slacks. From now on I'll be going ANYWHERE ELSE, because no other dry cleaner in the world charges an arm and a leg for two suits. read more

Bartoli Cleaners USED to be pretty good but now...not so much. They overcharge for their dry cleaning and if they can't get your clothing clean they call you to tell you too bad and that you still have to pay if you want your clothes!! They are rude and don't always have your clothes done in the time they say. BEWARE of using them. read more
