And frankly, I would say if you're coming to this location for anything you likely need to come for a tailoring first and the cleaning second. Yep, it's that good. I had a couple of very hard tailoring jobs that this Tailor handled with ease. I had a pair of plants that I completely split from front seam to seam, resulting in almost 2 separate legs. I took them in and showed them to the owner, and she promptly confirmed that she could not only fix them, but it wouldn't take her any additional time which was about two or three days. In addition to that I wanted to have some brace buttons installed in a couple of my pairs of pants as I am transitioning to a more hipster snappy style where this form of tailoring is really handy. She was able to quickly add buttons to all of my pants and from an affordability standpoint I didn't pay more than $20 a pop. Working in EMS sometimes things happen last minute and you have to adapt to the change in circumstances. I received a new set of uniforms for my job but the pants came un-hemmed. So I went to this place, but took a chance and didn't even read the Yelp reviews. I just needed to find a place near me and available. I came in to 3 nice ladies, and told them "hey look, I work in EMS and I have a shift coming up in a day, can you help me?". Without batting an eye they said "when would you need these completed by?". I told them "tomorrow if possible?, I understand this is a huge ask and I don't want to be an inconvenience." They very much obliged to help me and said "we'll have them for you tomorrow at 10am, and we close at 4pm". I told them the inseam of my pants and dropped them off. I returned the following day to pick up my items and for the price you couldn't beat it. Normally for the hemming they charge $16-$18 dollars a pair, I obviously paid a little more because of the expedited request, but I will be returning to them soon!! She tried them on when they were delivered and again at Happy Cleaners & Tailors for Gina to pin to shorten the length. Neither pair had any damage. When I picked them up, one pair had a hole in the back. I stopped by and spoke with Gina, who of course denied she made the hole, even though it looked like a tear from pins or small scissors. She also removed the tags on the pants without asking first, so I was unable to return or exchange them. She didn't even offer to sew the tear. These pants were $70 each. I used to use this place a lot till I moved further east. I had no problems with them. People work there are very friendly. However, I had a wool coat dry cleaned at this store last year. Do not have your clothes altered at Happy Cleaners. They altered several slacks for length and one pair was over one inch shorter than the others. I did not notice the error until several months later. When I returned the pants back to the cleaners, the lady denied that they had done the work, that some people like their pants shorter, and that the pants could not be fixed. After explaining to her that I had all my alterations done here in the past, she called the owner about my situation. She then told me they could not do anything after one month. I took my daughters wedding dress in for cleaning. I was nervous about the outcome but this place was recommended by a friend so I took a chance. The lady who runs the shop was so friendly and helpful! When we were looking at the dress, she noticed spots on the hem and sent the dress for a second cleaning at no charge! The dress turned out beautiful!! I also took in a dressy top that had a small hanging bead on it. The bead came off in the cleaning, she apologized which was unnecessary because she went out and found a bead that was close to identical and replaced it before I ever saw it was missing. It was such a close match I would never have noticed the difference had she not been honest and not gone out of her way to replace it. I saw the tailor part of their signs which was something I have needed for a long time but never think about until I saw this place that is close to my home. I didn't realize that cleaners sometimes do tailoring so I had a pile of things that needed to be fixed and altered. They fixed the missing buttons on my suit coat, missing buttons on two shirts, and even showed me how they could extend my french cuffs by 1/4" by adding a button hole and re-pressing them.
