LE truly went above and beyond for me. I was referred by Mariee's Bridal in Scottsdale to Suzanne's Sewing to have my wedding dress altered, and unfortunately it turned into a disaster. After my very first appointment, my dress went from fitting perfectly to not fitting at all, and with every subsequent appointment it only got worse. Two weeks before my wedding, I realized I had to take a chance and find someone else. I called Le and she knew even before seeing the dress, she immediately understood what was going on and agreed to see me at the end of her workday. When she finally saw the dress, she was shocked by the condition it was in. It had essentially been slapped together by Suzanne's Sewing. The dress had been stretched out and damaged from being repeatedly taken in and out, and mismatched material had even been added under the arm area and along the sides that looked nothing like the original fabric. LE worked on my dress every single day. During the first week I was in the shop every other day, and the week before the wedding I was there every evening. The night before we left for the wedding, I didn't leave her shop until 3 a.m. Despite the condition the dress was in, LE managed to completely transform it. She made sure it fit me perfectly and that the corrective alterations looked seamless. She even prepared a backup dress for me in case the original dress ripped during the reception because of the previous damage. LE is incredibly skilled and has a remarkable eye for detail. With formal gowns, every adjustment affects the entire structure of the dress. If someone doesn't fully understand how each change impacts the rest of the garment, the results can quickly spiral into bigger problems. LE clearly understands this craft at a very high level. Went here to have some patches sewn on my leather vest. This was one of the only places in the area that I found that could do the work. It was about two weeks to have them sewn on and while they did ask me if it was ok to sew through the liner, they did sew through the liner and pockets rendering the inner left pocket unusable. I don't really use the pockets except maybe to put my phone in, but I would have thought that they wouldn't have done that. All in all I had 4 patches sewn on for $80. As you can see, one got sewn right through the inside pocket. I would have like to have been asked about that, but hindsight being 20/20, I guess if I need any more sewn, I'll let them know. This business seems to do a lot of alterations for wedding dresses, so I'm guessing not a lot of bikers are hitting them up to sew their cuts. Just be aware if that's something you need. read more

I sent a message explaining my situation and how soon I needed everything done, and they replied quickly and encouraged me to come in ASAP to avoid any rush fees. I appreciated that honesty right away. When I arrived, I was greeted by one of the employees, Lee, who was so friendly (and even complimented my bag). He took me to the fitting room, listened to the vibe I was going for, and made me feel really understood -- especially because I don't dress traditionally. He gave helpful suggestions on what needed tailoring, and I felt confident trusting someone with my clothes. I also mentioned my financial situation, and he was completely transparent about the cost of tailoring the blazer. He even double-checked with Le, the owner. She had me try the blazer on and helped style it so it still looked better even without full tailoring. I do still wish I could get the blazer tailored eventually, but I really appreciated the honest guidance and that they didn't push unnecessary services. They explained exactly what would need to be done, why, and how, so I fully understood the pricing. When I came back for pickup, everything fit beautifully. They even steamed my clothes! I took in a costume dress for alterations - needed to have about 4-6 inches removed from multiple layers and taken out at the hip. They were able to do all that I needed and also removed padding that was not needed. Steamed and hung that dress for pick up. They worked quickly and everything was on time. They were able to have it done a week earlier than the date I needed it by. Knowing dress alterations can take time depending on fabric, design, etc. and it was during peak summer wedding season I took the dress in as early as I could. I got the dress in plenty of time to make changes if needed (they weren't but I had time if I needed to). The price for services and turn around time was on par with what I'd expect for this sort of dress or gown. Would use their services again. read more

I had the worst experience in April. I hesitated leaving a review but today I decided na screw that ppl need to know what they're getting themselves into. First red flag: when I got there there was a lady telling the worker when she needed her stuff by. The worker kept insisting to pick it up the latest she can come by. The lady explains she needed it by X date. And the worker kept insisting for a different day after that said date. She ruined my dress. I was supposed to pick it up at 2 or 4 I can't remember anymore. Well I ended up taking me dress home at 9pm bc it STILL WASNT READY so she kept fixing it and fixing it. Honestly I should have told her to leave it alone bc every time she would take it back she left it worse and worse. The day of my wedding the dress was super tight on my chest. It looked like the zipper and pin were about to pop from how tight it was. It made my bra less chest look weird but I had no choice. Oh and mind you she gave me the dress the day before my flight, I couldn't with my anxiety. She gave me a discount for the remainder of what I needed to pay but it was a horrible experience I don't recommend this place at all. Idk where she got the good reviews from. She takes on more than what she can handle and I'm sure she meant no harm but come one I had the worst experience. Just be careful about timing. She didn't have it ready for the other customers when I was there to drop it off nor me. She ruined my dress that cost me $140. I spent the SAME amount getting it "tailored". I used Le Tailor to help take in a jumpsuit for a wedding I was attending. My jumpsuit was 95% polyester 5% spandex - very thin material, and seamless so it was not an easy task. Yelp highly recommended Le Tailor so I called to schedule an appointment and get my dress in for alterations (I just needed a hem on three skirt layers). The young woman was friendly and knowledgeable- she had me measured and chalked up within 20 minutes of my appointment. I had three uneven skirt layers that had to be taken in at different points so the alterations were $100 and it took them about a month since I didn't put a rush on the order. I am a relatively large bodybuilder standing at 240 pounds 6 foot tall no one has ever been able to fit me even more popular brands such as Men's Wearhouse, I was able to bring in a coat that I bought at a separate establishment and they were able to take out a insane amount of fabric and do an absolutely amazing job fitting it to my exact specifications for what I believe to be a very fair price!
