Frendly staff willing to explain the complexity to complete Quality work at a fair price.

The altered trousers have mismatched leg lengths; I can't wear them and have to get them altered again.

Lee's Tailoring has always been my go-to and 5-star. However, it wasn't until recently that I noticed a slight quality change... for the worse. I am not sure if it was because of burnout or just overwhelming amount of business...but I am sensing a decline in service and quality. With its reputation in the area, I was expecting more and higher standards. With my recent experiences, my drop off to pick up time was a week, but yet, they still missed one of the spots I needed them to sew on my gown. The other time, the length of my sleeves were uneven but they said there's nothing they could do to fix it. I'm disappointed, hence the four stars this time. I hope it's just a short period of low and they don't get even lower than this. read more

Highly recommended for uniform alterations! I always use Lee's Tailoring in Tempe for alterations. As a local family-owned business, they offer incredibly fast turnaround times and the best pricing in the area. The quality of their work is excellent--a perfect mix of speed, precision, and great value. read more

The team is friendly, talented, and quick. My items usually have a 48-hour turnaround time, and the work is amazing.

Woman acts like she can't do a tight fit on pants they never can do it right the first time. I'm done coming here $54 just to taper 2 pants SMH read more

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I called in to let them know I wanted to come in to get my dress altered. I expressed that I was looking to get an estimate and timeline of when they can do it. The lady on the phone was very nice and told me to come in and they can provide an estimate. When I arrived, I put on my dress and let the owner know how I wanted it altered. She quoted me $85 for two weeks which is reasonable. When I asked if she can tighten around the hips more to give a mermaid fit she said it would be $150. I let her know I have another appointment with a tailor so I would be back after getting that quote. She immediately got frustrated and told me I shouldn't have come or wasted her time if I didn't intend to get the service done there. I explained to her when I called in I specifically asked for an estimate and timeline and was told to come in anyways. I wouldn't say she is a bad tailor but the customer service was horrible. The fact that she yelled at me when I told her that I was getting another estimate before moving forward was inappropriate. She told me not to come back. I was very nice the entire time and respectful. So the energy did not match. All that to say, only go here if you are willing to accept bad customer service and agree to whatever price she gives you. read more

They were quick and the product wan great quality. The owner is very nice too. I had a bridesmaid dress altered and a flower girl dress. Both turned out great and it wasn't too expensive. read more

I have been pleased with their work. Surprisingly quick service and much more affordable than many

Great experience - good price, attention to detail, and quick service!

Bridesmaid dress was tailored to perfection. The drop off process was smooth and the lady who helped me was friendly and quick. I've never had anything altered, so this being my first experience, I really enjoyed the process. And the pricing was good, too! read more

Amazing Team and quality work ! Always go there for alterations and never let me down.

I got a pair of jeans hemmed here and they did a fantastic job re-creating the original hem. I would recommend!

This spring, they tailored two dresses for my teenage daughter--her prom dress and her graduation dress. Did I mention they're special? Lee's did a beautiful job on both dresses. The alterations on the prom dress weren't too simple, especially since the gown is beaded. They took it in in two places (my daughter is tiny) and removed the straps and re-attached them in a better spot. Flawless. When they were done, it looked like she was born to wear the dress. I might have cried a tiny bit. It's her last prom. They cut off and hemmed the dress she's wearing under her graduation gown. Again, beautiful work. Go see then with whatever you have that needs to be altered. You will not be disappointed! read more

I had a great experience. Brought in two pairs of men's pants for hemming and taking in. Excellent attention to detail. I asked for one pair to be very slightly shorter than the other when dropping off and got a call from the woman who was making the changes. She noticed that one pair of pants was 1/4 inch different than the other and wanted to be sure that's what I wanted. She clearly cares about the quality of her work and the customer. The pants came out hemmed perfectly. The pants that were taken in were done with balance so the pockets in the back look normal and you can't tell that the pants were taken in. I will be back for future tailoring needs! read more

This was the worst experiences been through for while The owner was extremely rude, she made the error in measurements of our pants, not only she refused to acknowledge her error, apologize and fix the issue She would made unprofessional comments, blame me as a customer, and almost wants to double charge again, tell people don t come back- this is new to me in America.. Such unethical and unprofessional behavior had no place here or this community, this will be report her to Better Business Bureau , should not take this lightly read more

My regular tailor shop closet and oh no, I had to find another place to go and fast! I had two pairs of pants that needed tailoring. Luckily I found Lee's tailoring that had great reviews and it's close to home. One pair was a bit big in the waist and the other needed to be hemmed and taken in at the ankles. I needed them done quickly and they agreed to have them done in three business days, which I appreciated. Both pairs came out great and I know taking in at the waist is no small feat. A lot has to be done and it takes skill to get that done right. As long as I'd been going to my old tailor, he never suggested that I try on when picking up. The woman here asked that I do that and I was hesitant, but decided it was a good thing to do, so quickly changed and was very happy with the results. Pricing was a bit over what I'd paid at another tailor, but like I said tailoring is a skill and it's hard to find a good tailor, so I will pay for quality work on pants I love that now fit perfectly. Based on the work they just did for me, I will be taking a few more items there soon. And...by the way, they require you pay with cash so they can keep their prices low and bring your yellow receipt for pick up! read more

Awful! Damaged new prom dress. They snagged it in 4 places along the back. They told me that's just what happens with that fabric. The section they snagged wasn't even the part they were working on. Their was also a stain. We had taken pictures when they were pinning the dress. You can see in the photos there was no damage. At pick up all of a sudden it was all snagged and had a stain. They tried to say it was like that, until I showed them the pictures. Then they said well that's just how that fabric is. They never even offered to give me my money bac read more

My mom recommended this shop to me. I just bought 2 dresses and wanted pockets added to them. At first the lady wasn't sure it would work but she saw one of my dresses that had pockets and thought they could do it. I am pleased with the outcome and would go there again for any other tailoring needs. read more

Exceptional good quality and very fast service!!! I highly recommend this business!!!

Pros: Since I believe in properly fitting clothes, I get about 75% of my off the rack clothing altered. I have tried several places in this city and I think this is the best place for simple alterations. For complicated alterations or designer garments, I go elsewhere. I go out of my way to drive here. When I needed a same day alteration for my grandfather's funeral, they were able to get it done in a few hours. Plenty of parking. Cons: More expensive than tailors in other cities, but comparable to others in Phoenix. I wish they were open on Sundays. read more

As the Father of the Bride, my Hugo Boss Suit was tailor made to perfection at a reasonable price with wonderful service. Thankfully, I had time until the big day so time was not of the essence; however, they had my suit ready and available one week later. read more

I went in for a zipper to be fixed on a coat and within a couple of hours, it was ready for pickup. I'll definitely be using them whenever I need tailoring in the future! read more

The zipper broke on my husband's favorite vest. This was not a simple zipper replacement. The vest would have to be taken apart in order to replace the zipper. And, the vest was an unusual color. Lee's Tailoring was able to match the color, and replace the zipper. It's perfect. They did a beautiful job. read more

I walked into this business with 2 garments that another alteration place couldn't help me with and they fitted me right then and there and the garments were ready to pick up 2 days later. Perfect stitching/hemming and addition of zipper/clasps and a better price than 1 garment at Kathy's alterations. Will definitely be coming back & recommending read more

Moving from out of town, Ive been looking for a new tailor. I took a chance and found this place through Yelp. They were great! Reasonably priced, friendly, and made suggestions on what to altered, ultimately saving me money. This will be my new go-to tailor. read more

Dropped off a lululemon jacket to Kim to get the zipper fixed. I had to buy a new zipper ahead of time, but after that the repair took only two days and was very affordable. I didn't receive a call when it was done, so I actually picked it up until 6 days later out of complete laziness. But, jacket looks brand new again and Kim was really sweet. I will definitely come back if needed and highly recommend. read more

They do such a great job here! I've been here multiple times to get different dresses hemmed, including my wedding dress that was too big and too long in the front and they've done a good job every single time. They are always reasonably priced and get everything done so quickly. I came in a few weeks ago to get my maternity dress hemmed in the front. I needed it done within 3 days and that's what they delivered for me. I would recommend them to everyone. Prices are great and they do an amazing job! read more

Very professional services and friendly staff. I had four pants altered here recently. Reasonable prices. Will definitely come back for my next alterations. read more

Super Fast. Super affordable alterations. I could not be happier.

Since I don't have an "off-the-rack" body type, I come here pretty often for alterations. They are very efficient and charge reasonable prices. Not quite as precise as some other tailors I have gone to but the couple of times that the garment hasn't come out quite right, they have been able to fix it for free. read more

They do good, solid work when it comes to alterations and repairs. Better than most other places in the area. And prices are reasonable. This is not haute couture like some reviewers were expecting it. If you're looking for that, go to Scottsdale. read more

Lee's is my go to tailoring shop! My suit always looks brand new when I pick it up, and the integrity of the stitching is amazing. The prices are great & the turn around time for alterations-to-pick-up are incredibly expedient! read more

This place is awesome. They were able to get my wife and I in and do my blazer and her dress for a party same day. No one else would get us in last minute and she did such a great job that she earned two lifelong customers. read more

I have had various items tailored at Lee's over the last 15 years and recently went to have a few dresses and skirts altered. I had ordered them online and they didn't fit quite right. So I took my clothes to Lee's and she made suggestions on how to make them fit better. BEST $ I have spent. I don't think it's always realistic to order online and have it work out. But I will definitely be able to keep more of my orders now and feel awesome in them! read more

Great work with tailoring at this location. Items were ready when promised and fit perfectly. I highly recommend this tailor

I have been to quiet a few tailoring/alteration shops since moving out here from San Diego, CA. And no other place has even come close to the service and quality that I have had out there, than Lee's Tailoring. This place is terrific. Service is among the best. I have always said that asian people take pride in their work and this place is testament to that statement. I have been to a few places in Scottsdale for alterations for pants and the thread has already come out in 2 of the 3 pants that I have had done. And that only lasted less than a month. Thanks to the service that I have received from Lee's Alterations, they have fixed both pants. read more
