Until now. This is exactly what I have been looking for, and I'm so glad I found a spot for all future needs. I needed a pair of jeans patched (big split rip & hole in the butt area and patches on the jeans coming unglued). I brought them in and went over the pair with the tailor & she said she could fix it for me & they would be ready in a week. Went to pick them up today & I was blown away. Couldn't even really recognize how torn they were on both sides of the main seam and they stitched and glued the patch back. All for only $30! The shop is small but that's what you want. A spot dedicated to just alterations sticking to what they are good at. Knowing they could handle the jeans, I know they will be great with any alterations I may need (dresses, etc.), and I can update when I do. The two women are super friendly and very good at their work! So glad I found my spot, and will definitely be sharing with any friends & family in the area. Support local!

I went to this tailor for the first time on June 29, when I brought in six pairs of men's chino…read moretrousers. I needed the waists altered. The proprietor and his teenage son were there. Both were pleasant with me. Since my request was pretty basic, the tailor didn't have any problem with accommodating me, complete with promising a fairly quick turnaround, namely the following Monday, July 6. When I retrieved my items, they were folded neatly and placed in the shopping bag I used to bring them in. More importantly, when I tried my pants, they were perfectly tailored. Couldn't be happier with the quality of the job done. So, why the one-star deduction? It has to do with when I picked up my order on July 8. I had to wait a couple of extra days because when I arrived on July 6, I found a hastily written sign taped to the inside of the front door saying that the shop would be closed until 7/7. Needless to say, the lights were out. A bit disconcerting, to say the least. I tried calling, in addition to going back again the next day, all to no avail. Fortunately, when I returned again on the 8th, everything was back to normal. The son greeted me, then found my order. The tailor, in turn, came out to say hello. Like before, both were quite pleasant with me. Plus, I received a small discount. I guess, as they say, all's well that ends well.

I take my polos to Artful Tailoring and they take their time, measure my shirts understand the fitting look I am seeking, and then custom tailor make my shirts to fit my body. 99% of the time they nail it right the first time. If you come back and are not 100% happy, they remeasure you and tailor make sure you are happy before you leave. I pay approx $50-$60 per short to have tailored made. The cost depends on how many different areas of the shirt you want to change. I'd recommend calling them and making an appointment before driving over. I will only use Artful Tailoring for all my shirts and custom needs.

I appreciated her attention to detail- she definitely knows what she is doing. I did my first fitting and dropped off my dress at the beginning of January and had 3 additional fitting sessions before picking up my gown at the beginning of March. It should have only been 2 sessions but I had to go in for a quick one once I got my boob tape to make sure that would work. The quality of the stitching was amazing. The color of the stitch matched my uniform dress. Everything looked very professional and you can tell they paid attention to detail.
