Coming from the City, I was spoiled having really great cleaners & alteration spots right on the corner in my neighborhood, and I haven't had luck in the past out here finding good replacements. Until now. This is exactly what I have been looking for, and I'm so glad I found a spot for all future needs. I needed a pair of jeans patched (big split rip & hole in the butt area and patches on the jeans coming unglued). I brought them in and went over the pair with the tailor & she said she could fix it for me & they would be ready in a week. Went to pick them up today & I was blown away. Couldn't even really recognize how torn they were on both sides of the main seam and they stitched and glued the patch back. All for only $30! The shop is small but that's what you want. A spot dedicated to just alterations sticking to what they are good at. Knowing they could handle the jeans, I know they will be great with any alterations I may need (dresses, etc.), and I can update when I do. The two women are super friendly and very good at their work! So glad I found my spot, and will definitely be sharing with any friends & family in the area. Support local! read more

The language barrier is a huge problem I had to go back two times and my garment was still NOT hemmed how I asked for it to be even after explaining simple things multiple times to multiple people . They kept adding charges and not doing what I asked so on my third visit to pick up my garment I just left and took it elsewhere. Hemming pants is not that hard. read more

No intentions to ruin the ratings. However, per their Yelp page advertising for "30 Minutes Alterations" & after driving 15 miles to get here I was told it would be 4-5 days. If I paid a rush fee I could get the alterations done sooner. Two T-Shirt Tube Dresses that cost me $8 each to get the elastic hem sewed down to avoid rolling down for $70 were not happening. Had the employee taken a moment to look at my dresses I'm sure I would have been serviced as the Seamster was at the back counter not working on anything during my visit. My effort was not in vain as later in the day my Sister's neighbor who's a Nurse is also a Sew Queen, sewed my hems & not for $70 either. read more

A great little find! I bought some pants that I needed hemmed and the entire experience, start to finish was simple, quick, and straightforward on pricing. Staff is great..the tailor did a great job and is very skilled. The owner is delightful and more than willing to help and visit with you while you're getting things measured. I was a little bit appalled by the way other customers were behaving...yes 30 min is the goal, but keep your expectations within the realm of reasonable -remember they are altering clothes, not your body (or your personality), so if you're looking for those kinds of miracles you should seek out a plastic surgeon or a mental health professional. I've got to give props to the crew at 30 Minute Alterations. I searched high and low for a spot that could hem my dress in just 1 day. Said dress didn't arrive in my hands until the day before a wedding, and being 5'1" I needed a LOT to come off the bottom before it was even wearable. They truly saved the day and were super friendly, and communicative along the way! Aime personally sent me a courtesy text to let me know as soon as the dress was ready, which I really appreciated. She did a pretty poor job on my alteration, so I brought it back in to show them. She denied that it was her work. I didn't bring it to any other alteration store so it was obviously done at her store. She basically lied so that she wouldn't have to redo the job.. DONT GO HERE. read more

I really wanted to love this place but I recently took a bridesmaids dress there for alterations and they were able to work extremely fast but they made the dress almost impossible to wear. They added massive cups in the chest a specifically said I did not want. This made their measurements of my body wrong so I had to cut straps off myself that no longer wrapped around my body. I cannot believe I almost couldn't be in the wedding due to dress alterations that cost more than the dress itself. Really great communication and worked quickly. I absolutely love everything about this place. I stopped by at noon to get two pairs of pants tailored and hemmed and another pair of pants just hemmed and they did a stellar job and it was done before 2:00 pm. Amy was very knowledgeable and was able to make recommendations because I wasn't really too sure what services I needed. There's other places closer to my house where I could have gone but I think I'll continue taking a little drive to visit Amy and her staff for all future needs. 3.5 Stars. My alterations were not ready when we agreed. Had to wait a few hours to get them because the intake person didn't confirm the time with the person doing the calling/guarantee. it wouldn't have been such a big issue had I not gone out of my way to be there at the time I was told. The lady that I spoke to on the phone told me that she always calls when the alterations are ready, and sure enough, she had not called me. Since she appeared to be the manager, I will default to waiting for the phone call or calling before going over the next time. Otherwise the service was fine. I had 4 odd things altered and the changes were Minor. I appreciated how quickly and professionally everything was handled. I will go back if need be. The speed and quality of their alterations is worth my drive over there. read more

I'd try a different place if you're looking to get any type of military alterations done. 1st time I had rank sewed on and it was off. It was re done and it was wrong again. Finally she fixed it to my liking and I was good to go. Second time around (I believe in second chances) the head gear rank was stitched on center, but the cloth that was stitched on wasn't an even square. It had a jagged look to it. The jacket rank I had sewed on was too high and at an angle. I will go elsewhere. Pay again, just to have it fixed. I've come here several times throughout the year to have my suits tailored and dry cleaned. PRO TIP: TRY NOT TO COME AFTER WORK RUSH HOUR (4PM-8PM). THIS PLACE IS ON A BUSY STREET SO IT CAN BE TOUGH TO GET IN AND PARK AND EVEN TOUGHER TO GET OUT OF THE LOT TO LEAVE. Unfortunately, I'm not great with names, but the lady was great. The tailoring process is always pretty quick and easy. The best part was their customer service. There was one instance where I needed the suits to be altered right away and to pick them up next day. The lady said that their other location was having trouble and that she needed to go over and fix some machines or something, and that she would try and get them to me on the original day intended. Low and behold, she went above and beyond and offered to drive them to me personally once they were finished so that I had them on time. I was blown away at this attempt to meet her customers expectations and to deliver service above and beyond the code. In the end, everything worked out and she didn't have to end up driving them to me. But the fact that she was willing to do so is the reason I am writing this 5 star review. read more

Amy and her team are amazing! I couldn't recommend her enough. We had to get my boyfriends suit tailored and we customized my dress. All the items came last minute, we dropped them off on a Wednesday and picked it up Friday. My boyfriends jacket and vest had to be taken in and arms shortened, while my dress had to be shortened, reinforced the zipper and changed the strap color. They knocked it out of the park and we got so many compliments on our look and they fit perfectly. They were super quick about getting in my measurements and they turned out just how I had hoped! They do a decent job but are ridiculously expensive. When the owner is there it's more reasonable, but the Arab guy has charged me $35 to hem a mini skirt a couple inches (only 1 layer of fabric) and $20 to fix a strap on a dress (simple). Should be half that. Need to find a more reasonable place. read more

Absolutely fantastic service and quality. Called in earlier today about getting some alterations and dry cleaning done. The lady on the phone was very understanding saying that I would be able to come in later. I checked Apple Maps and it said they closed at 7:00pm. Turns out they close at 6:00pm!!! But that's wasn't a problem at all, as the store owner graciously welcomed me in and did measurements for alterations and dry cleaning. Super helpful and couldn't be more happy with this place! Small little shop offering dry cleaning and alterations. The elderly pair that run the store are very friendly but speak limited English (They do speak Cantonese for those that are bilingual though), and have a cute budgie/parakeet in the shop to liven up the place. I needed a dress hemmed in a short amount of time. Reading the good reviews, I headed over. The cost was $25, and while there were a few hanging threads that need to be clipped, overall the work looks solid. The store is between a gas station and a tax services building. I appreciate that they are open later than other alterations places I've been to (They close at 7 most days), so that I can pick up any alterations after work is over. They accept cash only, and oftentimes don't have change, so come prepared! read more

Extremely fast service! I needed a bridesmaid dress altered, just the straps shortened. I went in 2 weeks before the wedding and they told me it would take up to a week. They called me two days later to let me know it was ready! Great service! 4-stars and not 5 because it took a little while for me and the man taking my measurements to get on the same page about what I wanted. We got there, but I can't help but to think if I was a more soft-spoken person I would have just said "ok" to the first alteration he wanted to do and could have ended up with something I was unhappy with. read more
