It was about two weeks to have them sewn on and while they did ask me if it was ok to sew through the liner, they did sew through the liner and pockets rendering the inner left pocket unusable. I don't really use the pockets except maybe to put my phone in, but I would have thought that they wouldn't have done that. All in all I had 4 patches sewn on for $80. As you can see, one got sewn right through the inside pocket. I would have like to have been asked about that, but hindsight being 20/20, I guess if I need any more sewn, I'll let them know. This business seems to do a lot of alterations for wedding dresses, so I'm guessing not a lot of bikers are hitting them up to sew their cuts. Just be aware if that's something you need.

Until now. This is exactly what I have been looking for, and I'm so glad I found a spot for all future needs. I needed a pair of jeans patched (big split rip & hole in the butt area and patches on the jeans coming unglued). I brought them in and went over the pair with the tailor & she said she could fix it for me & they would be ready in a week. Went to pick them up today & I was blown away. Couldn't even really recognize how torn they were on both sides of the main seam and they stitched and glued the patch back. All for only $30! The shop is small but that's what you want. A spot dedicated to just alterations sticking to what they are good at. Knowing they could handle the jeans, I know they will be great with any alterations I may need (dresses, etc.), and I can update when I do. I went to another place before coming to Smart Fit Alterations and they immediately told me they cannot help me and I needed a new and bigger sized dress. WHAT!? They legitimately said "we can't help you, next!".
