I was really afraid of trying a new tailor because I just moved to Arizona and I have pants that once they're altered (waist in golf pants) and tapering for dress pants they cannot be undone. And I am SUPER particular about how my pants look and feel. I pay up for quality and I basically had the tailor alter over $1k in pants. The first run with the golf pants she handled perfectly, so I then took all of my dress pants to her to taper. I wore the shoes I was going to wear with them and she measured one pair of pants and that was it. I was a bit skeptical (and afraid) but she NAILED IT. I cannot tell you how pleased I am and how much I would recommend her to others. Please make sure that you tell her what YOU want and trust that she can make it happen because she CAN. I brought her my wedding dress to be altered ahead of our big day and she made the process extremely easy and seamless (pun intended) - especially given the sensitive nature of trusting a complete stranger with one of the most expensive clothing purchases I've ever made. She took notes and pinned the exact changes I wanted, then had my second fitting and we decided to make a few minor adjustments from there with an addition of extra boning as well, and ended with a third and final fitting ending with the perfect fit of my dress ahead of our wedding day. I had bought the dress before I became pregnant and was terrified I wouldn't be able to wear it to my best friend's wedding. (I'm the maid of honor I needed this dress) Then I found Olga.
