I was really afraid of trying a new tailor because I just moved to Arizona and I have pants that once they're altered (waist in golf pants) and tapering for dress pants they cannot be undone. And I am SUPER particular about how my pants look and feel. I pay up for quality and I basically had the tailor alter over $1k in pants. The first run with the golf pants she handled perfectly, so I then took all of my dress pants to her to taper. I wore the shoes I was going to wear with them and she measured one pair of pants and that was it. I was a bit skeptical (and afraid) but she NAILED IT. I cannot tell you how pleased I am and how much I would recommend her to others. Please make sure that you tell her what YOU want and trust that she can make it happen because she CAN. I brought her my wedding dress to be altered ahead of our big day and she made the process extremely easy and seamless (pun intended) - especially given the sensitive nature of trusting a complete stranger with one of the most expensive clothing purchases I've ever made. She took notes and pinned the exact changes I wanted, then had my second fitting and we decided to make a few minor adjustments from there with an addition of extra boning as well, and ended with a third and final fitting ending with the perfect fit of my dress ahead of our wedding day. Brought my dress in initially towards the beginning of November 2024 and picked it up from the final fitting the first Friday in December 2024- super quick and easy from start to finish. I had a quick and painless first fitting and pinning- shortening of shoulder straps and hem. You can tell Olga has been doing this forever- professional and highly experienced. I reached out to so many tailors and was turned away time after time--most wouldn't even look at my dress simply because it was satin. I had bought the dress before I became pregnant and was terrified I wouldn't be able to wear it to my best friend's wedding. (I'm the maid of honor I needed this dress) Then I found Olga. She looked at a few photos I sent, invited me in for a consultation, and had the alterations done by the following week! Not only did she work quickly, but she also added a few extra inches to accommodate my growing baby bump. Olga was amazing! I had a formal gown that I wanted to add sleeves to and I allowed for three weeks. I was able to get my initial appointment in the first week and when I returned the following week to pick up my dress...which was beautiful...she said if I needed any other alterations on the dress to just text her and it would take only 2 or 3 days. She is a very talented seamstress/tailor and the dresses she is working on are hanging in her shop which gave me a lot of confidence in her abilities.
