She also did the alterations over for my granddaughter's wedding gown. My granddaughter kept losing weight for the wedding so Inessa had to be very conscious of timing of the wedding and what alterations to do as my granddaughter kept losing weight. I brought her two dresses that needed to be shortened, one of which had a very unique designer hem that I really wanted to preserve. I had spoken with other alteration places that weren't confident they could recreate it, but Olga took one look at it and knew what she could do. The finished hem is so close to the original that I honestly wouldn't have noticed any difference if she hadn't pointed it out. I'm also very particular about the length of my dresses, especially because I often wear them barefoot and like them to float just above the ground. Olga has such a great eye for proportion and immediately understood what would work best for my height and the way the dresses fell on my body. She designs and makes clothing herself, including wedding dresses, and you can really tell she has that deeper level of knowledge and experience.
