She pointed out to me how that would be a problem to the overall look and I agreed. I never would have seen that problem on my own. She's very creative! She also did the alterations over for my granddaughter's wedding gown. My granddaughter kept losing weight for the wedding so Inessa had to be very conscious of timing of the wedding and what alterations to do as my granddaughter kept losing weight. Inessa also hemmed two other dresses for me, one with a built-in slip, and both were excellent! She is realistic about whether she can meet your timeline and she honors that commitment! She's clear across town for me, but knowing how critical great work is on expensive clothes it would be silly to go somewhere you don't have confidence in.

Her customer service was completely unprofessional and made us feel uncomfortable throughout the experience. To make matters worse, she shortened my dress more than what we had agreed upon. Between the poor communication, rude behavior, and the alteration not being done as discussed, I would not recommend coming here.

She raised her voice when I calmly said it was too big when I tried it on. This was just two weeks before my wedding, and she said she was too busy to fix it, then suddenly had time after my sister-in-law called on my behalf. She then lied about the price she was going to charge me to fix her own mistake and then raised it. I paid her the initial $800 she asked for, which I regret so much. The wedding dress alterations from The Bride's Tailor were so bad that Luv Bridal had to completely redo the dress when I brought it to them instead. I needed the dress hemmed fairly because I decided not to wear heels and I am 5'3. The price was a good deal! It was about an hour away from me but was worth the price and reviews. I DID NOT GET A BUSTLE! Too much dress and I did not like it, maybe the back of the dress way too big and hid the beautiful aplicase. I had to short but great consultations, first to pin everything and second to check it and take it home. I also tried the dress on multiple times at home. It fit amazingly! Come to my wedding day and I put on the dress and feel a prick. The top layer in my lining was all still pinned and not hemmed. We had to safety pin the whole top lining so I could walk. Very inconvenient and disappointing. Thankfully I had people who could pin it and thankfully had pins. It wasn't horrible but I did trip a lot and had to fix it a few times. Next day I reached out to Melinda and she felt really bad a refund me a 1/3 of the cost. But unfortunately my dress is still not done. Moral of the story, check for pins.
