During pickup, the owner spent most of the time in the back room yelling at an employee instead of being available while I was trying on my dress. It made the entire experience uncomfortable. She briefly came out to point out that she had fixed some loose fabric, and then went back into the other room. It wasn't until I went back into the dressing room by myself that I noticed one side of the bust fabric looked thicker than the other. My family told me it wasn't very noticeable, so I reluctantly took the dress home. Once I tried it on again in better lighting I found additional issues, including bumps showing through the fabric, the outline of the sewn-in bra cup, and the shoulder straps were too short making the dress uncomfortable close to my armpit. This is disappointing given the fact that the alterations cost twice as much as my actual dress. I contacted the owner with photos and she tells me that it's her policy that when customers leave the store that's it (I wasn't told this) but she was willing to fix the problems. I live an hour away and work full-time, so making another trip is difficult. We agreed on a Saturday and told me I could come anytime. A few days later she tells me she wouldn't be there until after 1:00 p.m. because she had other brides. This was frustrating because when I first did my alterations, I was specifically told there were no appointments for wedding dress alterations and that I could come anytime. So I'm not sure what's going on with that. What bothered me most was her response to my concerns. She repeatedly insisted that because I left the store with the dress, I must have been happy with it. She also told me she had security camera footage showing that I liked the dress. That completely ignored the fact that I discovered additional problems after getting home and that I had already explained why I didn't feel comfortable bringing up every concern during my fitting. Because of both the quality of the alterations and the way my concerns were handled afterward, I will not be returning, even though she offered to make additional repairs. This experience was stressful and unpleasant. I do not recommend this place. read more

The management here changed from several years ago. In the past, quality was good to excellent. A while back I took s pair of jeans and a dress to be altered. The jeans were poorly done (uneven and puckering in the back and too tight in the waist due to leaving too much fabric. The dress however was a disaster. They were supposed to fix the shoulder, but bizarrely they took out the gathering in the front. I complained and said this is not what I requested. Her excuse was the older woman didn't understand English well. Really? It should have been explained by the owner if that was the case. Her solution was to give me $20 off. What a joke. Stay clear of this place if you're looking for wedding dress alterations. The owner argues with you the entire time and messed up the alterations after having my dress for 7 weeks. Mind you, the dress just needed minor alterations at the top and to create a bustle. She pulled my top down in the middle of the store to cut out the cups (WITH A STRAIGHT RAZOR while I was still wearing the dress) they had sloppily sewn in. My chest was exposed and it was very degrading. After this point, I told her that I would have to take the dress somewhere else to fix, I was tired of her arguing with me. This place is not equipped for wedding dress alterations and they will mess up your wedding dress. She also had the nerve to curse me and my marriage on my way out! This was in front of 2 other customers as well. Totally unprofessional and truly terrible experience. I now have to take my dress to another alteration shop to fix. read more

If I could give it zero stars, I would! First, Irina sold the business over the summer, who did excellent work. She listened & asked questions. I took a chance with new owner/workers. I won't be back. I had them work on 5 pants and 1 skirt. First, one pant hem is incorrectly folded and sewn in one leg making it bunch. Second, another pant was to be shortened but still present the ragged unfinished hem look at bottom of the jeans. They cut and hemmed it with the ragged unfinished look gone. Ok I thought, I'm just not gonna write a review and never return. Nope, the third Jean pant disaster did it for me. This pant was super long but I just wanted the bottom of the legs folded up and simply sewn in the current style of the large over folded style popular today. I even folded the legs for them, just sew. Nope they cut off the legs of the Jean and sewed! No cuffs! RUINED jeans times two pairs! I was explicit in my instructions/desires multiple times. I, unfortunately, did not check them when I picked them up. But even then, nothing to do, the damage is done. Never ever to return. read more

Jeans hemming that matches the original hem (not all alteration places do that).
