Went here to have some patches sewn on my leather vest. This was one of the only places in the area…read morethat I found that could do the work. It was about two weeks to have them sewn on and while they did ask me if it was ok to sew through the liner, they did sew through the liner and pockets rendering the inner left pocket unusable. I don't really use the pockets except maybe to put my phone in, but I would have thought that they wouldn't have done that. All in all I had 4 patches sewn on for $80. As you can see, one got sewn right through the inside pocket. I would have like to have been asked about that, but hindsight being 20/20, I guess if I need any more sewn, I'll let them know. This business seems to do a lot of alterations for wedding dresses, so I'm guessing not a lot of bikers are hitting them up to sew their cuts. Just be aware if that's something you need.

First off, the process they use is simple and efficient. I've never had to wait long in line to drop off my stuff, and they'll shoot you a text when it's ready for pickup. I similarly have never had to wait long to pick up my clothes. I've mostly been to Tatum Cleaners for button-up dress shirts and blazers. And once to clean a rug. The amount of time it takes them to take care of business is reasonable, and the prices are reasonable. I've never ran into any issues. That's the type of experience you look for at a dry cleaners.

By the way the pants were purchased at Walmart and cost less than $15 each. What is an environmental fee, I was charged $9.98 for that. My entire bill came to $176.37 ARE THEY CRAZY? A year ago in Illinois I paid $10 per pair of jeans to shorten the hem length. No environmental fees. I could've replaced my old kenmore sewing machine for alot less and did the work myself. I've had two pair of shoes repaired for my boss and she was very happy with the end results. That being said, I have a problem with the fact that I was told my item would be ready for the next day. I told him it would be great since I wasn't supposed to be on that side of town on Friday so Thursday was great. We agreed on 2pm. I showed up at 2 and the place was closed. I called and left a message. He text me back saying he was at the hospital. I understand things happen and I sent a text saying I would make the trip back out the next day because I had to have that shoe. He never text me to say if he'd be there or not. I guess it's the lack of communication that bothers me the most. And the fact that he doesn't adhere to his business hours. I paid up front and believe I am, at the very least, entitled to a response to my inquiry. Not a good business practice.

I have taken items here to have altered before the pandemic and was very, very satisfied. I went to…read moretake a simple item to get altered a month ago, and was SHOCKED on arrival. The store was not open during posted hours and there were clothes all over the place. The counters were sky high with piles of clothing. I returned the next day and someone was there, she took measurements, and ask me if I needed the item right away. I said no and she told that the item would be ready in 10 days and she would call me when it was ready. Three weeks later, no call, so I decided to stop in to see if it was ready. It was not and told me to come back on Monday. I was there on a Friday. When I went back on Monday she said she had to do a couple of things to finish it and for me to wait, 20 minutes later she brought it out to me. The job was done and the item fits great. When I went to the counter to pay, I could see the back of the sewing room. Clothes piled high from the floor to the ceiling. I don't where there was room for her to work. And, on top of everything she charged me more than she had quoted me a price for in the beginning. I won't be going back here again.
