I would not recommend this business. After working with them a couple of months we have received very inconsistent results. Two of my boyfriend's more expensive work shirts (around $2-300 shirts) have come back pilled, shrunk and heavily fragranced. We called to ask for no fragrance, was told nothing they use is scented which is clearly a misrepresentation given we both smell heavy synthetic fragrance. I called to speak to someone about the two occasions of having shirts retried to us shrunk and damaged. The woman working the desk today said she couldn't relay my feedback and concerns because management and ownership do not allow them to call or communicate. That is absolutely shady and reason enough alone to not do business with them. They charge very almost too high prices for inconsistent quality and returning items damaged. For the fact my call didn't matter enough and I was told to just follow up with someone on Monday, no guarantee anyone will even be around or receive my feedback in order to retain our business. I will gladly resume working with our previous cleaners that is just a greater distance away, we are new to the area which is why we had to change cleaning services. Lesson learned to never trust Fashion Cleaners with any cherished items and extremely disappointed in the terrible customer service and dismissal received today. I feel a bit misled and taken advantage of by this business. I dropped off a duvet cover. Not the comforter part, just the cover. Queen size. I asked how much it would cost, told that they did not know. Ok, whatever, no issue. Well it's $60. The cost to dry clean a queen-sized duvet cover, just the COVER, is $60. Now you know. This is a not fair review considering I never utilized any other services besides the alterations. And even then, I didn't follow through with leaving my items to get altered after finding out some information. First, they send out the item to be altered. Alterations are not done on-site. I get it, it is more of a dry cleaning place, so I was willing to overlook that. The main reason why I didn't leave my items was that I had to measure what I wanted to alter myself. Since the seamstress is not on-site, no one can pin the items that needed to be altered. Specifically, I needed some darts sewn in on my scrub shirts; since they fit me too boxy, the shirts needed to be taken in from the back. I had no clue how to measure for darts even if I took my shirts home to pin and bring them back for them to alter. Sigh. I was not informed of this during the correspondence I had with this facility, so I had no clue. If I had known, I would have not even made the journey. So if you are looking for alterations, you need to measure what you want to be done yourself. and if you need more done besides a simple hem, you might as well be a seamstress yourself since you know how to pin shoulders, sleeves, and darts! I took in a very expensive shirt to be dry cleaned. The pocket had a leather element that was clearly removed before going into the dry cleaning process and then it was re-sewn on backwards. When I went back into the shop to complain they refused to acknowledge that they had done anything to the shirt. I'm very upset because it's horrible when you are dealing with a dishonest company. This place is close, has good hours for my schedule, and friendly staff. They also honored the yelp 1st time customer promotion. I brought in 16 items, 15 of them shirts which for some reason on the mfr tag recommended "dry-cleaning." The attendant helped to explain to me that usually items with a high spandex consistency would require "dry clean" only and that my shirts technically do not need it (helpful info because she would have had to charge me quite a bit). The only thing I did not like was that I had requested that certain areas of the shirts be more focused on (stained areas). I make the same request at my former place before I moved away from the area. They were able to accommodate the articles of clothing I get back are exactly what I expect, being cleaned more heavily at certain problem areas. Here, though the attendant acknowledged my request and even noted it down, when I came to pick up, I noticed the stains did not really look like they were focused on. read more

Customer service during my original phone call was great. I had questions on pricing and turnaround time on 2 comforters. She quoted me the 50% off for new customer deal and said if I dropped off that day (Monday) she could have them back to me by Friday. Awesome!! I go to drop off my items later that day and received a bad attitude by the woman who was processing my order. She told me she would have them laundered and I specifically said I wanted then dry cleaned. Her response was she would "try because she wasnt sure when the person who does the dry cleaning would be in". I then informed her of the conversation with the young lady earlier that morning and that nothing was said about the dry cleaner being out. This seem to upset her and she proceeded to give me more of a bad attitude as she was typing in my information into the computer. When we were wrapping up she said my items would be ready "sometime next week". I let her know that I was given a pick up date of Friday. This annoyed her even more. I was blown away by her awful customer service. My husband was with me and on the drive home I told him I had a bad feeling about leaving my items behind and wondered if I should take them to my usual place in Happy Valley. He said to go with my gut. I didn't listen. I got to pick up my items on Friday. I called first to confirm they were ready and they were. I was given my bagged up queen size comforter and then was told they couldn't remove the "white stains" from the grey king sized comforter. What stains?! The comforter is used as decoration and not to to sleep with. I was confused as to which "white stains" they were referring to. She shows me and says maybe its "drool". Umm, these "white stains" are in a straight line and were in different spots throughout the comforter. It looked like it had been pressed with something. Who the hell drools in a straight line?! What a stupid thing to say. I was really upset and called my husband and sent him a photo of the damage. No Fashion Cleaners, this isn't drool or whatever you claimed it to be. The comforter wasn't like that when we dropped if off. I of course told the woman how unhappy I was, how I trust their company with my garments and about the rude customer service from the woman who took in my items. She apologized, didn't charge me for the comforter they damaged (I wouldn't have paid anyway) said she would have the owners call me when they returned from vacation and they would replace it for me. Did they call? Nope. Email? Nope. Text? Nope. Nothing. What an awful experience. Take your dry cleaning elsewhere!! read more

At drop off, Yaritza asked if I had any special requests and was kind to answer several of my questions. One white lace dress had quite a bit of makeup on the delicate strap which they were able to get out. My black and white crochet overlay dress turned out great too- this was first time having this item cleaned I was concerned if the chemicals could make the black dye bleed into the white. Lo and behold: it's perfectly new looking!! At pick up, I was greeted immediately- my total was $56 and change. This gal (I cannot remember her name)was super sweet and customer focused as well.
