Years ago when I was working in the corporate world I always used this cleaners.. Since I'm not working I only on occasion used Maroney's. I came across an ad for comforter cleaning for $20, so I thought I should try it again. First one was great so I brought another one in along with two king size pillow shams. I was asked the size and I knew the shams would be extra. When I picked it up they said it would be $60 ~ so that would be $40 for two shams. The girl said it was a blanket. Blankets don't come with sham's. It was a quilted comforter and not a blanket, nor did it appear to be anything other than that. I am not happy with the service or the customer service I received. I've been a Maroney's customer since around 2010, long before its new mgt and owner. Until recently i used to drive up. now I have to use pick up and delivery bcz I don't drive anymore. So Icalled for it. Once they did it. Then the next week they said they'd come and get my bag from the bench next to my front door the next day or that week. No show. Clalled the next Monday and got the same story and nonresult. No show. Called the next Mondy, got the same story and no show. Called the next Monday and got the same story and no show. Asked to talk to the manager to be consulted and call me back. Again no call back and no show. This is now the FOURTH WEEK that bag has been sitting there. Do not take any valuable garment for cleaning to this place. I took an expensive sweater after I was told they knew how to clean it and it was ruined. Below is the email exchange to which he did not reply. He never apologized and did not offer to refund the dry cleaning bill that ruined the sweater. Highly recommend going elsewhere. Yikes. They could really use some help in customer service Me: hi i was told my things would be ready after 4:30. I came by and they weren't Manager: they're ready after 5:30 (no acknowledgement of them telling me wrong) Me: okay but i came back at 5:30 still not ready Manager: yes, it's ready now Me: bits it's 6pm Manager: okay Me: So you see how this doesn't really address the issue right? .... The elevator doesn't go all the way up. So if you really need things to be reliable in regards to pickups and schedules I would avoid this place. I was a loyal customer for 23 years. I currently live out of state but work in Phoenix, I come back every couple of months and pick up my dry cleaning and drop it off on my way out of town. Ive been doing this for 5 years. Due to circumstances out of my control I couldn't come back for eight months. I went in to pick up my dry cleaning in March of 2024, and they told me they had donated it. They claim they sent a text message about it, which is false. I am also certain that I never was told of any 6 month policy for unclaimed items. I expressed my dissatisfaction and was met with a "too bad, so sad attitude." 4 nice shirts and a pair of pants - gone. $600-700 worth of clothing, (not including tailoring) After nearly a quarter century of business. Awhile back they went to this automated system, which is convenient, but there is a price you pay for that. Prior to moving, i went there so frequently for so long that all the people in the drive thru lane knew my name and didn't even have to ask for it to grab my clothes. Just an FYI that you are just a number at this place, they could care less about your clothes or your business. So I recently had my laundry done at Maroney's. Never had an issue with them until recently. They lost a medical grade sock, worth about $30. When I called Maroneys about it, they said they researched my complaint but no sock ever turned up, plus they said I never had a sock in my laundry. I know what I put in there and I don't like the fact that I was basically called a liar. The owner stated he'd like to make things right on September 21st but I've not heard from him even though I've called Maroneys twice as well as their parent company, Organicare. read more

Not sure why the reviews are as poor as they are. This is a long time locally owned company. I've never had any issues. Service is ample, curbside, friendly. Not sure they're the least expensive around but certainly reliable. I've had no bad experiences. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is what seems like a less than excellent value. When I call to complain the manager, Nocha stated that her employer specifically told me that there was a chance of damage, which is a lie. I've been a Maroney's customer since 2009 and up to now I've probably done close to $10,000 in business with them. Their cleaning quality has been adequate, never exceptional; but the drive thru service was very convenient, the turnaround time was good, and the staff have always been friendly. The quality of their cleaning has steadeclined over the years; I have held my tongue and endured numerous damaged garments. Often times I didn't know the garment was damaged until I'd taken it down to wear weeks after it had been cleaned and I felt it would be too difficult to prove they'd done it. Most recently, I picked up about ten laundered shirts and one was severely ripped in front; the manager claimed that unfortunately this sometimes happens. He went on to ask me when I purchased the shirt so that he could determine how much they'd compensate me. I sat there stunned looking at my shirt trying to understand what could have possibly ripped the shirt so badly. He then began examining the shirt and found a tag in it with a 2012 date and assumed that that was the approximate time it was purchased. By this time I was a quit angry and frustrated, thinking about all the previous garment damage that I never mentioned and now I'm feeling as though I'm being insulted by this manager as he is trying to figure out how little he could compensate me for a shirt that he has somehow destroyed but that is yet still valuable to me. Before I drove off he told me to get back to him with a date of purchase for the damaged shirt; I was pretty sure at that point that I would never return. UPDATE I received a voice message from Maroney's telling me that they were under new management since my last visit; they offered me discounts to try them out again; I did so against my better judgement.‍ It wasn't long before they destroyed another shirt. This time they got ink (maybe from a magic marker) on a brand new Luchiano Visconti shirt that was still in the package when I gave it to them. They claimed that it was a "manufacturer's defect" in the dye and that it bled onto the shirt. R-i-i-i-ght! I went back to the store, purchased another one and had it dry cleaned without issue. It's been dry cleaned twice at Arcadia Cleaners since then without issue. I'm done with Maroney's for good. read more

Not back in town for a while as I'm a snowbird and they apparently found it and are holding on to it. Go to Park Avenue cleaners. Very close. Higher quality of service. Better results. Unbeleivalbe. I have been a customer here for years, and I dropped off a Ruggable to be washed since they were having a special on household items. They took it, texted me when it was done. No discussion of price, I showed up to pick it up and she tells me it's $265.78 ?!? I said that Had to be a mistake. After calling the manager twice. Still no resolution. Overall very unsatisfactory service. We took 3 jackets for dry cleaners service. They stated it would be ready the next day...checked on the pieces. "Not ready" checked the following day same thing. Once we went in there in person they confessed they "misplaced" one of my three items. They had been saying it would be ready the next day to buy time to find it instead of openly confessing it was lost. How do the items get separated? How do they lose clothes? They didn't try to make things right at first. They weren't even sorry. They basically shrugged their shoulders and didn't try to help. Had to ask the manager to help find it. Well, let me start this update with a huge THANK YOU! Last week I took my son's sweater to get cleaned because it was a 2 different color Holister sweater and of course him being a teenager I didn't wanna messed up, so I asked the one of the ladies before I handed it to her if it was ok with them to get it cleaned there, I knew it was though because those type of clothes always bleeds through the lighter color, she responded that they always clean those type of sweaters and it was going to be fine. The next day when I picked up of course what I thought it would happen did, and now the sweater was ruined, so the manager which is a very sweet lady told me what happened and of course she disclosure that they will replace it for a new one. It's not that I wanna make this incident a big deal, but this happened to me before at another dry cleaner and they never ever offered to do what this place does for their customers. I really enjoy using their service because they are awesome and also this place is one of the most HONEST business I have ever experienced. Avoid this dry cleaners. Terrible customer service. Girls that work their are nice but new ownership is terrible. They ruined a brand new shirt and told me I had to go to the manufacturer to get a refund. ??? They ruined the shirt! I asked for a simple credit to be compensated for Maroney's ruining a brand new shirt and they simply said no unless I go to the manufacturer of the shirt. I am not sure why you wouldn't just give a customer a credit and move on so I will be moving on and suggest anyone else do the same. Geniuses. Avoid this place is my recommendation. read more

To be honest I haven't looked at the prices. I'm so in love with the pick up and drop off service I've chosen to remain in denial. That being said... I freakin' love Maroney's. I dropped off 10 shirts for laundering and they lost one of them and was charged $36.51 for washing and ironing 9 shirts! Their excuse was that the shirt was lost between their building and where the shirts are actually being cleaned. read more

Not impressed. Dropped a tablecloth for a work event off here and was told would take two weeks because of the size. Seems a bit long but this is the first time I've left a non-clothing item anywhere so, ok. Called day before expected date of completion to confirm and was told it would be ready at 5pm and I said I'd be by the next am. I roll in and it's not done! Pointing fingers and asking who I spoke to? Didn't think to ask unless I was told it wasn't going to be ready. Woman was apologetic. Writing this review in the parking lot while they press it. It was just going to be washed in cold water, hung to dry and pressed. No cost taken off the $30. read more

Maroney's saved my favorite cocktail dress after a tragic red wine incident. No other cleaner would even touch the dress because they knew they would fail. Also, they were able to take care of TWO veils-one cathedral length and the other tip length, but both had intricate beadwork throughout. The first time wasn't a great experience as the amount they quoted me was way less than what they actually charged once I picked up my items... The second time I dropped off one item they quoted me eight dollars charged me 11, didn't get the stain out, and also ruined my sweater.
