I brought this brand new polo shirt into the dry cleaners. I have been coming here for years by the way. They damaged it and then said that it was damaged when I brought it in. Why would I bring in a damaged shirt to be dry cleaned that makes absolutely no sense. The owner never bothered to even call me and just sent my damaged shirt back with this note. Unfortunately, I will be looking for a new dry cleaning company. read more

Very impressed with this place. Nice people, excellent service and lower prices than what I had been paying for the same quality. I'll be going here from now on as the prices at my previous place had gotten utterly ridiculous. read more

Took in a king duvet cover and shams to be laundered. Called first to verify this could be done and price. Dropped off on a Wednesday and told would be ready on Saturday. Went in on Monday and was not ready. Told it would be ready later in the day. Called later and told agin not ready. Tuesday was the new date. Went in to pick up and items not ironed. Informed they don't have the necessary equipment. I feel this should have been explained to me either when I first called in or when I dropped off. I shouldn't have to ask of ironing was an issue. It's a commercial laundry! Terrible customer service and service in general. Waste of my time and money. read more

Regal Discount Cleaners - Front counter - Dry Cleaning Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

This is a great spot if you need a cheap, reliable dry cleaner. They have a quick turnaround and are open just long enough for me to swing by after my 8-5. As a busy attorney who always forgets to get her suits dry cleaned until it's close to emergency levels, this place is a gem. They got chai latte stain out of a light periwinkle blazer like it was nothing. I like their pay by the piece pricing, because I know exactly what I'm gonna get and I can't look as professional doing this at home. read more

Took a week and a half to get a comforter back. Nobody called me. I had to call to see if it was ready. Upon pick up, Rosemary was beyond RUDE. Absolutely should not be in a customer service position. Put her in the back if she's going to be an utter jerk to people. I told her I didn't have a ticket (I was not given one when I prepaid for my service). She asked for my phone number so I gave it to her. She was fumbling around like she has one functioning brain cell, despite me telling her I saw the item sitting on the floor (less that one foot from her). Still fumbled around and then said, "WELL YOU DIDNT SAY IT WASNT DRY CLEANING". Uh, ma'am, you're a dry cleaner....but, ok. No smile when I greeted her with a hello and smile and then got progressively more mean. Several other places I can go, closer to my house. Thanks to Rosemary's epic fail, I'll be going anywhere other than here. I hope you see this, Rosemary. Maybe call off work if you can't be decent. You need an attitude adjustment. read more

Great dry cleaners! Relatively inexpensive, fast turnaround, great work, friendly people!

Just okay. Grading it as below average. I appreciated the speediness and the quick turn-a-round time, however, the quality of the cleaning is just not that great. The collars of my shirt are the same as before the cleaning. I miss JC cleaners... read more

Been using this dry cleaner for several tears now and they do a good job at a relatively reasonable price. Never had any issues at all. Even when a button breaks during cleaning they will make sure to replace it. Only reason I give 4 out of 5 stars is they still are not doing same day service and do not know when it will resume. Overall they do a good job and I continue to use them for all my dry cleaning needs. read more

My husband and I needed to divide and conquer errands before going out of town for Memorial weekend. My husband dropped off dry cleaning and my 12yr old daughter and I went to pick it up. My daughter volunteered to go in and get it. The slips were still in my husband's truck. They only gave us half of the dry cleaning. Then I told them they were missing half the order. They yelled at my daughter and said "that's why you bring in the dry cleaning slips!" She told me all of this after she got back in the car. Who freaking yells at a 12yr old?? This happened at 4pm on 5/23/24, so check your books and see who was on staff. I will be going back to my favorite cleaners on 36th and Indian School. I would rather drive farther than have you yell at my daughter for "not bringing the slips," Get over it, it's all computerized and orders are tracked via the computer database. read more

I've been using this dry cleaner since 2017. i drop off 5-10 slacks & 10-15 shirts every two weeks. Always greet! Friendly staff, the owner is nice and you'll see him working from time to time. The best part is the price! I save $80 a knot coming here. My bill is usually $50-70 per visit. It cost over $100 anywhere else. Over 6 years and I've never had any issues! Always clean, pressed and looks perfect! I moved to Glendale and I still drive to Phoenix to use Regal! I won't use anyone else! read more

I would normally chalk this off as a "one off" but as I am gathering up a new batch of clothes to be sent off to the cleaners: I can't let this go. I will not be returning, not because of the quality of the product- but because of the service. The guy at the counter was so rude and unfriendly, it took me a second to realize he was being serious. Having to pre-pay is not entirely a foreign concept, some businesses require that you do that. I get it; but to pre-pay and be treated like that was seriously INSANE. I was LITERALLY paying someone $60+ to treat me poorly. Seriously, guys? Here's the kicker: I grew up not far from this business, and this used to be the dry cleaner where my mom would take all of our household dry cleaning. So I came in out of nostalgia. We have an account with Tide on North Central, but the closed due to Covid. I thought I would bring business back to neighborhood staple. HUGE mistake. The owner probably won't even read this and thongs will carry on as usual. Just know that one bad interaction is all that it takes to turn someone off for a lifetime. I can read people pretty well, and this wasn't just a "bad day" or displacement. He was seriously just an unpleasant person. I hope this serves as a training opportunity so that no one leaves this business feeling the way I feel WEEKS later. I'm not being a "Karen" or a "Chad" and trying to "speak to the manager." No one deserved what I experienced during a financial transaction of goods and services. It was weird, and I won't let it happen again. Take your business elsewhere. It's Park Avenue and Maroney's for me from now on. I hope no one else was treated the way I was in the future. read more

Running GRAND total, Royal has ruined 5 and lost 2 Ralph Lauren dress shirts. Manager offered to replace 1 of the 2 lost if I could find a USED shirt. The young lady offered to repair the unrepairable RL shirt--just to say they offered. As you can see in the images, a 10-inch rip in a collar is not repairable--she tried to get me to say I refused the repair! On the first damaged shirt, the manager said the shirt was old--after this many shirts they have to accept the responsibility that their laundry is prematurely aging our clothes. Today, my husband discovered 3 more ripped shirts they had laundered! I have been going there for over 3 years--no problems, a few months ago our laundered shirts were coming back damaged with 10" rips on the collars. They obviously have a reoccurring problem their not addressing. They could at least refund your cleaning costs--they double down on the damages. read more

Damaged clothes - not the first time. $100 jeans, frayed and steamed beyond repair (I have tried getting the fray out various ways. I gave regal two stars because despite the the damage to clothes, they always provided fast service and minimum waiting time. However, I can't let it go that I have had multiple mixups and seemingly every little stain that is on a shirt, they can't get out? They'll just put a "pre-stained" sticker on it and wait for you to pick it up. If you have immaculately clean clothes, this is the place for you. I have zero complaints. I mean how many cleaners can you find for the price? In by 9am and out by 4pm. I love the fact that I can drop my clothes off before work and pick them up once I am off. You must have cash to pay for your items. If you forget to have cash in your pockets they have an onsite ATM. Staff is friendly and will get you in an out. My clothes are always clean and freshly pressed. read more

Laundry hasn't been this easy since my mom did it all. I have very few items that need dry cleaning, so it's rare I visit these types of places. I really just need something easy and reliable, and this is it! Open at 7am, and if you drop your stuff off by 9, it's ready at 4, so I don't have to play guessing games like I have before with other cleaners. The service is incredibly fast, with staff available to help immediately, all for the low price of $2.75 per garment! I am pleased with the quality of work done as well. Regal has made a regular out of me. read more

Love Regal cleaners! Best in Phoenix. Quick great quality and only $23 to have king comforter laundered. That do an amazing job every time.

I've been using Regal for almost a year now and have only had one problem and that is why I'm compelled to write a review. They shredded the light silk-like material off of my brand new cardigan. I still had the receipt and the owner, Dave, was very nice about paying for my sweater. Very reasonable prices for dry cleaning and laundry. A bonus for me is the location..two buildings down from my office. Sweet. read more

I am surprised that I am giving a dry cleaner a five star rating. I have been searching for a different dry cleaner ever since moving to phoenix and I finally found one that does things fabulously without swindling you and sodomizing you at the same time! I dropped off my blazers and jackets this morning and asked the girl working the counter if I could possibly pick them up at the end of the day. It was already 9:10 am and missed the cut off point, but she made an exemption. She said no problem, Now that's customer service! I love that. :) I highly recommend this place. The same day pick-up is awesome, the price is affordable and customer service is top-notch. read more

Well I gave them a chance based on the rave reviews below. my mistake. I just got my garments back in worse condition than they were when I gave them over for cleaning. there's a tear in one sleeve and another item looks like it was slept in it is so wrinkled. even when I asked them to press the item a second time they brought it back to me and said "oh she pressed it again" and of course it still looks terrible. I'll be doing my own pressing from now on since apparently I'm the only one who can get wrinkles out of linen. When I voiced my concern, the quote unquote manager looked at me as if I were speaking German. I'll not be going back. read more

The review that says they charge $1.25 to have any item dry-cleaned is incorrect. They charge $2.50 per item. I like their prices, but I was not impressed with how they ironed my suit pants when I got them cleaned. They came back with double creases in some places and random wrinkles in the knees and legs. I had to re-iron them myself. I'm going to try American cleaners a little more south on 7th Ave. to see which is better. I do like that they are open late until 7 PM though. read more

If you have to get your clothes cleaned for work, this is the place to go. Very reasonable prices for dry cleaning and laundry, next day service, and open pretty long hours. I hardly ever issue the dreaded 'one star', but Regal Discount Cleaners has unfortunately succeeded. $3 pet garment; both of mine were returned smelling the same as they went in. Additionally, a light food stain was still on one garment. #sadface. To make it more of a downer, I had no idea it was only cash or check - neither of which is a payment form I carry anymore. Went a mile down the road to draw some funds out specially. I guess you get what you pay for....I should have just febreezed them an used a damp tissue on the food stain = job done, time, hassle and money saved. read more

I am thoroughly satisfied with the service here. I needed my suit clean for the next day. And true to order, I had it in before 9a and it was ready after 4p the same day. And only $2.75 per garment. The people were polite, friendly and professional. I would definitely use them again. The only reason they are not getting 5 stars is because they only take cash. I should have read that part somewhere before going. My fault. And it was annoying to go find a bank near by during rush hour. Yes, they do have an ATM there, but I refuse to pay fees. So I hope the rest of you take heed before going and learn from my mistakes. Take cash! Because they only accept cash and you have to pay upfront. Note to self. read more

I brought my designer shirt into regal cleaners to be cleaned. They refused to admit the shirt and advised that I would be better off cleaning it at home. This was a $600 shirt. I ended up taking it to Viking Cleaners where they always get it right. read more

I wanted this to be my neighborhood dry cleaner... and I've given it a 6 month trial period. Poor service; all clothes consistently come back wrinkled; no attempts to remove targeted stains. Yes... the cash only thing really sucks but the prices are low. It's also very busy and often you have to wait in line and no matter how many times I go there they never remember the name. I brought in 3 shirts to be pressed!! I had never used this place but when I picked up my shirts they all had holes in the same place!! I was told by the manager that they only pressed them and maybe the chemicals I used to wash them did this!! I didn't bring in 3 shirts with holes in the same area to get pressed!! I could see maybe one shirt but all 3 having holes in the same area!! Also they didn't even let me me know the shirts had holes in them!! The holes were not hard to miss as I saw them rather quickly when I looked over the shirts!! If you're looking for a new place to take your clothes, I'd drive on by and not give them a look!! Can't really say anything that hasn't already been said. In by 9, ready by 4. Dry cleaning is $3 a piece, everything is cash only. I needed a duvet dry-cleaned because it had a pet stain. I had thoroughly spot cleaned it with disinfecting pet stain cleaning spray AND spray and wash, I just wanted to see if getting it dry-cleaned would help the stain. They said they couldn't dry clean a dress because they claimed the design was glued on and would come off during cleaning. I went to a nearby cleaners instead who took the time to show me that the design was in fact embroidered on and not glued and therefore could be safely dry cleaned. The other company was successfully able to clean the dress. Regal seems to be uneducated about their business; perhaps they are quick to turn away customers in this situation because they have a history of ruining garments as evident in other reviews. read more

I have moved from downtown Phoenix, to busy, busy Tempe. So I keep looking for a great Dry Cleaners close to the new Crib. No luck with that. So I keep coming back to Phoenix to Regal Cleaners. I love their work! They are always done when they say they will be. In all the years I have been going here nothing has ever been damaged! A major plus when I read or hear about other cleaners. They are open Monday thru Saturday. Only closed on Sunday. The owner is there a lot as well, so he makes sure everything is nice. Although when it is just the staff they are really great also.
