Zar was friendly and agreed to work on my pleather dress very last minute- needed it next day (for an agreed upon additional rush fee). So grateful. She did a lovely job shortening my sleeves, they look great. However, I was unimpressed by the button she added. When I provided the feedback I was told no one would be able to tell from far away and my feedback was met with excuses. Not really something you want to hear for something you're paying money for.. I only removed one star because they were willing to work with my less than idea timeline and she did nice work on the sleeves. read more

I brought in a dress to have the straps shortened as well as dress pants to be hemmed. I dropped them off on a Thursday and was told they would be ready by Tuesday (they are closed Sun-Mon) which was perfect because I needed the pants later that week. I never got a text or call on Tuesday or Wednesday. I was close by on Wednesday and stopped by to see if it was ready and they said it still wasn't ready yet but would text when it was. I sent a text on Thursday to see if it was ready yet and they said it still wasn't ready. I didn't get my items until the following week on Wednesday, long after I needed them and was told they would be done. Many other places can do hemming while you wait or same day service. If I had known it was going to take that long here, I would've just taken them some place else. I had to run to Target Thursday night to find some pants to wear instead. They should be more honest about how long it will take to do something so people can go somewhere else. Also an update: after I wore the dress one time and washed it, however they shortened the straps came undone... so I had to bring them back again to get them fixed. I would go anywhere else! read more

Wow. These people have no concept of customer service! I brought a dress in to be altered and they told me 1 1/2 weeks to be done. TWO days after the pickup day she told me it's still not done and it's not like baking a cake so I need to be patient. Why give a pickup day when you can't finish the (very simple) work? Then to tell me I need patience is crazy! NEVER GO HERE!!! read more

Small business owned by a friendly couple. They accommodated our last minute needs for our wedding and the work is beautiful! Great pricing.

Only cash place. Dropped uniform off for one patch, promised April 3, which I got a text saying it would be ready by that evening and would get a text. Never got a text message. April 6 Tuesday came around and had to call to say I'd pick it up and take it elsewhere then after that finally got done. Can't promise dates if they can't be met. read more

Tailor Heroes is truly the best husband and wife duo, and I'm so glad I found them. From the moment you walk in, they make you feel so welcome and taken care of. Z is incredible! Not only is she so talented, but she's also one of the kindest and most thoughtful people you'll meet. She really takes the time to listen and understand exactly what you want, and you can tell how much she genuinely cares about her work and her clients. I was amazed at what she was able to do with my wedding dress. It needed some extra love, including adding a back panel to my corset so I could feel more comfortable, along with a bustle so it wouldn't drag on the ground. She paid attention to every little detail and made sure everything felt just right, not just looked good. And Joe, such a pleasure. He really brings that personal, family-owned touch that makes the whole experience feel special. A couple days before my wedding, I thought my dress didn't fit quite right and reached out in a bit of a panic. Even though it turned out to be a false alarm and I didn't need to come in, he was immediately ready to have me come in the same day and reassured me not to worry. Mind you, this was during one of their busiest times of the year, and there was zero hesitation to take care of me. There's so much value in what they do, not just in their skill but in how they treat their clients. I wouldn't hesitate to come back or recommend them to anyone. read more

Very rude, unprofessional and took 6 weeks to get my alteration done. I sure wish I would have looked at the bad reviews and not just based it off the total stars they are rated. I brought my dress for my daughter's wedding the end of July. My first dress fitting was Aug 2nd they asked to reschedule because the dress wasn't done. That's was fine. But FOUR more times they asked me to change the date or time because "the dress wasn't done". Again, showed up for my final fitting and it wasn't done again. Due to my work schedule I couldn't come back for a week(Friday). I was reassured multiple times by him previously that my dress would be done. But, it wasn't. So after I left, I text him to request the dress be done sooner (Monday instead of Friday) since Friday would be only one week from the wedding. He responded 3 days later with a very rude unprofessional response. Telling me it's a very difficult project. Which I never said or thought it was an easy project. But, don't tell me a time frame you cannot finish. Better yet don't take on a project you cannot finish on time due to its complexity. As a female I felt very uncomfortable showing up for my final fitting based off of his text message. So I had to bring my boyfriend with just to make me feel safe. At that fitting I requested they fix the corset lacing in the back because you could see the seams from the laces. When I showed up nothing had been changed and I was told that's "the best we can could do" She hadn't even taken out the stitching to try. At this point I just paid and took the dress. Owner: Before you respond with a rude comment like you do to your customers who leave a bad review. The corset will be fixed by another tailor. So, it can be done. Also, as a business owner you should be respectful to your customers. Especially when they have been very understanding about repeated rescheduling. But go ahead, write a rude response to me so others can see how you treat your customers. Hopefully they will read the bad reviews and avoid being treated unprofessionally by you. read more

Tailor's Hero is something special. I came in looking for help on how to hang my large zebra rug and not only did they have exactly what I needed, they truly went above and beyond by helping me hang it properly. You can tell they care about their customers and take pride in what they do. It's rare to find service this genuine anymore. I highly recommend supporting this wonderful local business! read more

Impeccable job, extremely happy with my tailored military pants. my fitting was quick and efficient

Worked with them for over a year and spent over $1500 in alterations. That is a lot of money for 1 customer. On many occasions they were late, but i was patient and understanding. Finally i had enough!!!! After 5 times showing up to pick up a jacket alterations i took them out of the sore and got in a huge argument in front of other customers with joe the owner, who in my mind has no business running his wife's shop. He was rude to me and said i shouldn't just show up after they told me the day before it would be ready in a couple of minutes so i gave them another day. They even owed me money that i had prepaid and just ate it. Stay away from this place unless you want delay after delay and rude vulgar hot tempered joe. Ive since found another place that is better and its just down the street. Customers do have options read more

I dropped off my item a month ago. Gave her an extra two weeks, no problem. Went back two weeks later still not ready. Now it's a problem. I was told to come back later that day in both instances. I needed my clothing for a special occasion. No call or text regarding my clothing as of today. Never again. read more

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. This alterations business is hands-down the most unprofessional place I've ever dealt with. The staff is extremely rude and makes no effort to provide decent customer service. Every time I called to check on the status of my item, I was met with attitude and excuses. I was told my item would be ready by April 8--that was over a month ago, and I still haven't received it. Every time I follow up, they either lie and say it'll be ready "soon" or argue with me like I'm the problem for expecting it to be done when they promised. The last time I had contact with the owner he told me to come in on Sunday, May 4. I politely mentioned that their website said they were closed. He responded "We're going above and beyond for you by opening up on a Sunday". I ended up going there on that Sunday. The doors were locked and lights were off. I called the owner and reminded him that he promised my item would be ready. His response "I didn't feel like coming in, I'm tired! I'm a slave to this business and I just didn't feel like leaving my house." I dropped my wedding veil off on March 16, 2025. The completion date was supposed to be April 8. It is now May 12 and I still do not have my veil. They don't honor their completion dates, they're dishonest, and they clearly don't value their customers. Save yourself the headache and take your business somewhere more reliable and respectful. read more

Great customer service from a small business- husband and wife owned. I took in several items for work and excellent work on everything I requested! Definitely recommend this shop and will return for all future needs. read more

This is a very nice shop I have used them a few times. The family that runs the place are good people. I especially enjoyed the humor of the husband as we both had beards an could relate about that fact. The first visit I had torn the strap and stitching off my backpack. I asked if they could repair it and use strong thread. They said yes and gave me a future date to pick it up. I think they did need extra time as they are always busy, but they saved me much time and expense compared to buying a new electrician's backpack. I had my pants hemmed where I dropped off my new pants that come long from the manufacture and are meant to be hemmed. They gave me a date and I came back and everything was satisfactory, and I paid the agreed upon amount with cash. read more

I went to Tailor Heroes a few months ago to get a bridesmaid dress hemmed. I took the dress in about a month early to ensure they had plenty of time. As I was getting hemmed, they talked poorly about other customers in front of me and the other customers in their shop. Very petty. They give you a slip with a date...but it's a suggestion for when they "might" reach out to you with the actual date that it'll be finished. When I came in on the actual date to pick up, they clearly had forgotten, and asked for another day to finish it. Now, it was a snug fit when I picked it up and they did work on a day off to fix it for me before I left the state for the wedding.l which I really appreciated. However, overall the experience was unprofessional and they need to be MUCH more clear about when the pieces will be finished early on with customers. read more

Spoke with the owner. Said she could come out and measure for drapes. She never showed up or called back. I have left two voicemails since then and no return call. Bad customer service. I just needed an invoice for to fix my backpack because tsa broke it. They have me the quote, just wouldn't send me the invoice to potentially get reimbursed and go to them to fix my backpack. they were nice, but just wish they could've just given me the invoice instead of withholding it. my situation is weird, but just wish they couldn't be kinder in that way to help a normal person out instead of saying I need to get the service or no physical invoice. read more

My husband had 3 shirts tailored by this business. Please go anywhere else. Plenty of other great places in the area. The first time I brought clothing in to be altered the owner told me to come back on a specific day to pick the clothing up. When I came back on that day, she turned me away and said she needed more time. When I came back for the second time, trying to pick up my clothing, another customer and I were sitting out front past the owners opening time waiting for her to get there so we could pick up our clothes. I received mine, but heard the other customer be turned away because hers weren't ready (like mine were the previous time). I decided to bring another article of clothing to be hemmed because the owner did a decent job on my previous clothing and her business is close to my home. Convenience is a large driving factor of where I do business right now as I have 2 young babies and I am a busy mother. Which, may explain my deep frustration with the back and forth and lack of punctuality on the owner's part. This time, the owner told me to come back on Monday 9/5. I specifically asked her if she was sure she would be open that day since it's Labor Day. She said she is only closed on Christmas and yes she would be open. I just called to double check that my clothes were ready before I drove down to get them and had another negative experience, and thankfully I did that, because the owner answered and said she is closed for Labor Day. I will not be using this business again and would not recommend it to others. The clothing has turned out fine, but the experience is very poor. Edit to add: I just looked through the other reviews and many others have had the same experience. Save yourself the frustration. read more

I recently brought in a dress to be tailored. I asked for the train to be left alone. As this was the statement piece of the dress. I was quoted $60 to hem the FRONT part of the dress and when I tried it on. It was way too short and it was not what we agreed upon at all. The train was also hemmed and now barely existent. I did voice my concerns and because you can't put fabric back onto a formal prom dress...and told her that the train was to be left alone and to leave the length. Not hemmed. And not to where it no longer exists. She just said "sorry". I recommend taking your business elsewhere and to a more reputable seamstress capable of hemming formal dresses. I have never been more disappointed. read more

These people are absolutely awesome! I had an emergency regarding a suit for a wedding which I had to get to in 45 mins. from when I showed up at their door. I bought a suit at Macy's and needed the pants hemmed asap. They charged me a rush fee and I gave them extra money because they lived up to their name and saved the day and got it done in 15 mins. When I dropped off my dress to be hemmed, there was an angry customer in the shop whose repair wasn't ready as promised. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt, and left the dress there to be hemmed. I returned today... 2-1/2 weeks after the drop off, they hadn't even started on it. They asked me to just come back later. Unfortunately, I need the dress for a wedding that we're flying out for tomorrow. So now I get to hem it myself, which I don't really have time for. I'm not honestly sure how this place stays in business. read more

I entrusted what seemed like a very confident tailor couple with my sons very expensive jerseys. They assured me they could get the job done. The original over the phone quote was between 50-100 dollars. When I showed up it was $160. I understand price can change when you see a job in person but I was thrown off by such a big jump. The couple assured me they could complete the task "no problem". I later understood that the job was harder then expected and I was happy then to pay the higher price for their hard work. I had to have a family member pick them up (big mistake) and when I received them I was so upset. All the edges are tattered and cut choppy, loose strings everywhere but the worse part is there was a part that was completely not attached! They look rushed. My son's coach is also very unhappy with the work. I wish I would have done a better job making sure they could achieve the quality of work I needed done on such an expensive item. I think I could have done an equal quality job. I'm so sad! read more
