I live very close to this location and love to support my local shops. I appreciate their proximity to my home and want them to stay in business. I especially love family owned businesses. I will never go to this location again. The last time we had my husband's suit cleaned here they left a spot on the shoulder of his suit coat. Not wanting to give up on a place over a small mistake, we gave them another chance. This time I sat in their drive thru for 10 minutes. The worker saw me and ignored me. When I went inside and asked her why she wasn't helping me, she said it's because it's not a drive thru. Well there is absolutely no signage indicating as such, I've used this place multiple times before and other workers have helped me at the drive thru, and it is a drive thru!! She said she thought I was sitting there for shade. Their lazy workers and their lazy work go hand in hand. I am officially in the market for a new dry cleaner. read more

Sent back stained worse! 3rd time it was finally fixed. The wait time is horrible! "We don't press on Wednesday in the summer".... Lights are never on and neither is OPEN sign so you don't know if they're open. Changed to a new cleaner 15 minutes away and so much happier!! Everything is in house and cleaned quicker! I'm writing to express my deep frustration and disappointment regarding a series of issues I've encountered with an alteration order placed at your store. Originally, I brought in a pair of capris to be tapered with the understanding that they would be ready by Friday afternoon, as I needed them for a funeral. Despite clearly stating I would pick them up around 2:00 p.m., I was later told the pants wouldn't be ready until 4:30--completely different from the initial information I was given. As a result, I did not have the pants for the funeral. When I returned the following week to pick them up, I could immediately see something was wrong. The tapering had been done incorrectly--sewn from the inside up to the crotch and down the leg--causing the inseam to face the middle of my leg. I pointed this out and requested a refund. Thankfully, the pants had not been cut at that point, so I asked that the stitching be undone. However, the situation worsened. I was first told to go to a different store, then back to the original one, before finally receiving my refund. When I went to pick up the pants, they appeared even thinner. A different clerk confirmed they had been tapered, despite my previous instructions to undo the alterations. I explained, again, that the original request was for the incorrect work to be reversed--not repeated. I own two identical pairs of these pants, and only by comparing them could I tell that the fabric on the altered pair had been cut. I made it clear that if they were cut, they would no longer be usable. Unfortunately, when I returned for the fifth time, I was told the pants had indeed been cut and there was nothing that could be done. This entire experience has been incredibly frustrating, time-consuming, and ultimately damaging--I am now left without a usable pair of pants that I originally brought in for a simple alteration. At this point, the pants themselves are now ruined due to repeated mishandling and miscommunication. read more

Staff are friendly but service of items is TERRIBLE. Not reliable. Dropped my white comforter off to be cleaned. 5 weeks later it still has not been cleaned. I have checked back each week. 1st week I was patient that it wasn't ready as indicated on the ticket. They shared it was the holiday and back logged but I would receive a text when it was ready. 2nd week I was told household items take longer. 3rd. Week They confirmed the plant had it and would be ready (to no avail). 4th Week they said the ticket must have fallen off and it was at the plant but would get it straightened out. 5th Week I just asked that they return my $300 duvet so I can have it cleaned elsewhere. If you appreciate the value of your time, money and patience, avoid this place. Dropped suit off Wednesday was promised ready 4pm Friday, I went to pick up on Saturday 1pm.. not ready. Then was told it "should" be ready by Monday. That was not acceptable so the owner's resolution was to have me drive out to pick up my suit at an actual Cleaners (a different company they use to do the work) 28 minutes away, so yes.... an hour of my own drive time. When I get there, the jacket is done, but the pants are not going to be worked on until Monday. So the likelihood of Monday-ready outlook was bleak. I'm currently driving around town looking for a place to press my pants so I can use this suit. I can't put into words how frustrated I am right now. read more

Took four t-shirts to the Pressed for Time location on Baseline in Mesa to have the neck altered to scoop/rounded neck line. This was my third time, the first two times still was not scoop neck. The girl at the front desk took a picture of a t-shirt I had on, and I told her this is the way I want them to look. She did not communicate or show the seamstress this picture thus me having to take back for third time. The shirts have been cut twice already so there's no room for error a third time. The people in the front desk look at me like I'm an enemy and shouldn't be a little perturbed over this. Well, I am, after having to take them back three times. These are brand new t-shirts from a cruise and not worn yet. Very poor service and communication. Met with seamstress this morning, instead of hoping the communication is passed on a third time, and she appeared confused with a scoop neck appearance. I wore a shirt this morning, once again, to show how I would like for it to look as there is no room for error this time. I said to her if you don't think you can do it I will take them somewhere else. I didn't trust the look I was getting from her, so I decided at that moment, it's best to take them elsewhere. Will never be back to this cleaners for any kind of service. I wouldn't even give it a one star, but you have to select one. To top it off, the people at the front could careless. They say they use a third party .. okay .. well, that doesn't let you off the hook because my dealings and communication were through you. Will NEVER be back or recommend this place to anyone. The service has never been great but the location is convenient and the clothes come back cleaned ok. I was originally told that my husband's suits would be ready Tuesday. The following day I called and told them I needed the suits by Monday and the man I talked to (same guy I dropped the suits off with) said that was no problem. I called Monday around 11 am to ask for a status update and a woman told me that the records still stated Tuesday for the suits. This left us with no time to have my husband fitted and tailored for a new suit. The lady I talked to said she'd check with someone at the plant to see what can be done. A few hours go by so I call back. No answer. Called again. No answer. Called again and someone picked up and immediately hung up. About another hour later I hear back from a manager who is from a different location (Queen Creek). He seemed nice and told me I can expect a call from another man who will work to "de escalate" the situation. I never did get that call. So here we are Tuesday . No call, no text, no apology, no status update, no nothing. I picked up the suits around 4:30pm and told the woman working I won't be back. She just smirked. There is nothing you could say or do at this point that would bring my business back. Just awful. Had you called with an apology, status update and maybe a discount on our next service this morning I would have appreciated the gesture enough to try you again. read more

Pressed For Time Cleaners I wish I could leave Zero stars. Very disappointed with Pressed for Time cleaners. I requested my comforter to be dry cleaned. I prepaid the amount, and was given a ticket to pick up in a week. After bringing my comforter home it had shrunk 4 inches. It no longer fits my king size bed. I made a call to Pressed for Time Cleaners and spoke to a polite employee who could not help. I gave her my name and phone number for the owner to call me back the next day. Never received a phone call. I called back and spoke to the polite employee again who put me on hold and called the owner and got back to me. I did not get the answers to my questions asked, so the employee called the owner back. The owner said that my comforter did not shrink and they have the option to wash and dry or dry clean. My comforter's shell is 100% cotton. I asked the employee to have the owner call me so I could speak to her directly. Never recieved a phone call and my $400 comforter is ruined. Very dissatisfied and absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND. The fact that the owner wont even speak with me says volumes to their uncaring attitude towards their clientele's property. I am devastated that they ruined my comforter and I have no solution to fix it. read more

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!! I am all for supporting our local businesses in Queen Creek, but this place is just terrible. Stopped in Wednesday to pick up a pair of pants that were altered and was told it was going to be another fat and they'll be ready on Thursday...not a problem. Stopped back in on Saturday (giving them an offer extra 2 days) and was told they wouldn't be ready until the following Tuesday!! I asked how that was when they told me they'd be ready 2 days earlier than when I actually came in??? The girl who was working, who also was the one that was working on my earlier visit walked into the back and miraculously came back up front with my pants! She threw them up on the rack and only said "we didn't press them". Even if my pants were actually ready I would solely not use this place ever again based on her attitude. If you hate your job, then find a new one because her attitude is ALWAYS they same! Again, I will support every local business in Queen Creek except for this one. I will gladly make the drive to Gilbert or STV to go to a place where the customers are treated with respect. read more

I dropped off a comforter that I've had for about 3 - 4 years but had never had cleaned. As I was dropping it off, I mentioned to the attendant that over the years, some of the stuffing had started to shift. I told him it wasn't a big deal and I didn't think there was anything they could do about it but wanted him to be aware. He very confidently told me "not a problem, we see that a lot. We'll level it out for you." Considering I didn't expect them to be able to even it out and it wasn't the reason I was dropping it off (just needed to have it cleaned), I was very pleasantly surprised when he told me that. I came back a week later and not only did they not "level it out", it was considerably worse, with 2 - 3 basketball sized bulges. I called immediately and the person I spoke with was extremely apologetic and said to bring it back and they would make it right. I dropped it off the following morning and he again, was very apologetic and assured me that they would get it fixed. I came back a week later and it was even worse than before. Almost ALL of the stuffing was piled up at the bottom. When I picked it up, the owner Greg, was very defensive right off the bat as he told me that it's not uncommon for the stuffing to shift while in the machine and that when he looked at it earlier, "it was fine". Knowing full well that this amount of damage could not have possibly happened in the 10 minutes it took me to get home, it's obvious that he had lied to me and he knew that it wasn't "fine". I called as soon as I got home and Greg was conveniently unavailable. It was clear while talking to him while at their shop, that he knew the damage was worse and now he's not interested in taking my call. As a business owner, he should know that you should under promise and over deliver. I should have never been led to believe that they could fix it let alone that it would be an easy fix. Furthermore, I should have been told upfront that running it through their machine would possibly (likely) do even more damage. In short, it cost me $30 to have Pressed for Time ruin a $200 comforter and then lie to me about it. It's safe to say, I'll never be back there unless it's to collect a refund which I doubt I will get. read more

First off, I cant get ahold of the company, I tried calling the phone number on their website and it just rings forever until my phone hangs up on me. I tried to contact them via email on their website but it doesn't let you click submit to send a message. I guess I will have to drive to their store and ask where my comforter is. I brought in a duvet comforter in a few months ago and they said it should only take a few business days. Well it's been over 2 months and I haven't received a phone call or any contact from them regarding the status of my comforter. I'm really worried that they are just going to steal it because when I brought it in and asked if I needed a ticket or anything they said "no, we'll call you." Took in a shoe for a minor strap repair. Picked it up and they had glued it, and a messy glue job. Returned it to be stitched like the other straps on the shoe. Second time some of the glue had been removed but still no stitching like it should have been. Third time ... nope no stitching. Forget it. Very noticeable as the stitching thread was gray on a black leather. Unwearable and unhappy customer. read more

Just took a new custom shirt in. When I got it back I found it had grease spots on it, the French cuffs where not pressed out and had dirt and lint in them, and the overall shirt had become dingy and off colored. Took it back for a redo and came back a bit better on the color, the cuffs were still not pressed flat, and found dirt marks on them when I got the shirt home to look at it better. I'm now in search of a new cleaners as I start a new job this fall where I need a reliable cleaner for my daily wear of business professional clothing. read more

Horrible service. Used them just once. They gave my wife all but 1 shirt. Greg the owner told her "he must have had a stain". My wife told her he doesn't get stains and she washes all of my shirts before they get dry cleaned. He said he would look for it. We are now 2 months from the time we used his service. About 6 weeks ago he said "it's going through insurance". Every time my wife calls he says it's going through insurance. If you look at google reviews this isn't the first time he has lost a shirt in the last 7 months. Don't go here if you want your property returned. The yelp reviews are horrible as well. read more

I will be honest, when I was looking at reviews for dry cleaners I was initially deterred by the reviews I read on here. I had two golf pants that I needed hemmed but I wanted to keep the split cuff at the bottom of the pants. Of course I was literally pressed for time since I had a tournament coming up very fast. Most of the places I had called up said that they did not or could not do custom alterations. Finally, I called up Pressed For Time Cleaners and was relieved that they were able to do the custom alteration I so desperately needed. I go in, tell the very nice lady the custom alteration I needed and said that it was possible. Honestly, I didn't think the custom alteration was gonna be all that well done compared to how I received them, but man was I wrong! I picked them up (the gentleman working that day was also very nice) and I was so impressed with the stitching. I looked at the split cuff at the bottom of my pants and it was an outstanding job done. I really could not tell the difference between the split cuff before I had dropped them off and the split cuff I have now. The price for both of them were also at a very reasonable price for the amazing work done. I will definitely be recommending your business to others and will certainly be returning to have other alterations done! If I could give this business more then five stars then I would certainly give them a 10 for their work and customer service! read more
