I am so grateful for the help that I received from this shop. My nieces homecoming dress was involved in a custody battle and court ordered back and in the process was damaged. The shop had no idea of the situation but were able to rush the fix and my niece was able to have her dress in 2 days for her homecoming dance. 5 previous places were not willing to provide such a fast turn around or even remotely help in any way. Dropped off a Men's Business Jacket for alterations ( a simple single sleeve shortening). The owner/seamstress had posssesion of the item for two weeks to complete the work. I arrived on the specified day of pickup to retrieve the jacket and nothing had been done at all; it had sat untouched for two weeks!! The owner said she had tried to call me but then forgot to?? I'll let you figure that one out lol! No apologies for not completing the work; she just didn't seem to care. In short, this business doesn't seem to take their work (or lack of ) seriously nor care about their customers. Prices on their website did not reflect the price I was presented with. When I showed the website price on my phone, I was just told 'Oh, we need to update it'. Terrible service to not honor the website price. After I paid the amount she wanted, I informed her I would not be returning and she said, 'That is fine'. I picked up my dress the day of my school dance when it was scheduled to be picked up yesterday. I asked it to be hemmed and for the sleeves to be removed. When I came in the dress was hemmed but the sleeves were not taken off. She told me to come back an hour later around 6 I came back at 6:20 the shop was locked and closed. When I came in today I asked for a discount and she said no. she originally said the dress was going to be 120 but then after I asked for the discount it was 150, then she discounted it to 130 so either was I was ripped off. the lady is very nice but there are better places to get things tailored read more

I highly recommend taking your alterations elsewhere. I brought in 2 pairs of work pants and she told me to come back in 2 weeks. I came back 2 weeks later and they weren't done; they hadn't even been touched. She asked if I could come back later, so I did. However, I felt like it was a careless job and I was highly disappointed. I tried them on in her shop and asked her about the problem and she said "no one will notice. I would just leave it if I were you". So I paid for my pants and left. I immediately drove to a different tailor and asked them if they could fix it and thankfully they could. I called Tailor Heroes back and asked if I could have a partial refund to at least pay for the cost it took me to have them repaired. She explained that she doesn't do refunds and that she will fix them for free. Why would I take my pants back to her to have them fixed if I saw how she did them the first time.. I wouldn't. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

if i could give this place 0 stars i would. my fiancé and i dropped off a pair of dress pants, we were told it would be done 10/10, here we are picking up the pants and they are not done (10/13). the lady who i assume is the owner told us to come back at 5 to pick up the pants. we said sure whatever it's fine. we come back at 5 and the doors are locked and told us to come back in 20 minutes because she's not at the shop. so ridiculous. a pair of pants that needed to be shortened about 1.5 inches should not take 3 days to do. read more

I took two pair of my husband's pants in to be hemmed and when I went to pick them up, she could not find them. She said she would look for them and call me back, she did not. I had to call back five days later and she still had not found them and asked me for a photo of the pants. Who takes a photo of pants they drop off to be hemmed? When I made reference to the fact that she needed to pay me for the cost of the pants, she said, I'll call you back. Within minutes, she called me back and said she had found them. I said my husband would be there shortly to pick them up and she told me she was going on lunch for an hour. My husband gave her the hour and drove there to pick them up. She had the audacity to charge me the $20 for hemming them after she caused me grief, time, and two trips to her facility. My husband paid her as she did do the work, but needless to say I will never go back. read more

I would not waste your time with this place. I brought in a dress on Sept. 29th to bring the bust in and to fix the length of the dress. I was told to come back Oct. 30th. The week of when I was suppose to pick it up I noticed on the website that they were not opened on Sundays. I called and asked to pick it up on Saturday instead and she said that was fine. I show up Saturday and she tells me it is not done and to come back Monday. I returned Monday (10/31) and she tells me "I had an appointment this morning and it's still not done. Come back later around 4." I had plans that Halloween evening and would not have been able to come get it at that time. She then tells me that she will call me when it's done. I decided to wait till today Wednesday (11/2) to see if she would call back. She never did and my mother went to go pick it up. When asked if she had done anything to the dress she said no and said to my mother "What you don't trust me with the dress?" She then tried to use the tooth pain she has been experiencing as an excuse as to why it was done. Needless to the say I have my dress back and I will be taking it elsewhere.
