I called lamps plus looking for a specific item. I called to see if they had it in stock. She said yes we have one but we close at 6. I said ok we will be there. We drove all the way over there, she seemed annoyed to help us. Mind you it was the same person on the phone cuz of her accent. Then she says oh we only have one and it's the display. We can't sell the display to you. Okay well that is why I called to make sure I didn't waste my gas. Then she rushed away when I wanted to see what the floor sample looked like when the base lit. I sought her out again to see if she could find another location that actually had it in stock. Again, annoyed reaction. So much for customer service. read more

I recently made a purchase of a ceiling mounted light fixture here and the staff was very accommodating and will work with you to figure out your style you are trying to achieve and they will recommend only the necessary item and will not upsell you like most places. Absolutely the worst experience ever! Can we do negative stars? My mom left very happy about a chandelier that she bought here. She was counting down the days for it to be delivered home. She waited the 10 days like she was told that it would be delivered to the store. Then was told it would then be delivered to our house. When she called the first time, she found out that her phone number, name and email were ALL incorrectly entered into the system. She called back another week later , only to find out NONE of her information was corrected and was told it would be a few more days. We waited a few more days, called back AGAIN, still her information was not corrected and then was finally told that they were completely out of stock and we would have to wait until mid December to get it or we could get a refund. Are you kidding me?? She had enough!! She asked for a refund. It has been one week and the money has still not been refunded to her card. She was told to call back in 4 days if the money has not been put back on her card. We are never shopping here again nor recommending it!. read more

Went in to purchase new lights for my backyard. After explaining my issue and even talking to my contractor on the phone, it turns out I only needed new light bulbs that were $2 each and not new light fixtures. Lighting expert Bryan helped me for an hour and a half straight. He was completely attentive to my dozens of questions and waited patiently while I relayed questions from my wife at another location who was relaying questions of her own with the electrician. At the end, my wife in exasperation with the conflicting bits of advice told me to just go to Lowe's to find our lighting solution. So I go to Lowe's and find that their lighting suggestions, while cheaper, were not of the quality or versatility of what Bryan showed me at Lamps Plus. Two hours later, I returned to purchase what he originally suggested and the solution was spot on perfect. Our experience with Bryan is a 5 star! After looking for weeks I located a perfect barstool on-line and it turns out Lamps Plus sells them. I went to Bryan, they had 1 counter height, beige color, in stock. I purchased it and took it home & realized it was too short, so I'd have to return & order the 30" height & Bryan placed the order for 6 stools online while I was in the store. Bryan was wonderful to work with & made the entire experience great. Once the 6 stools came in & I put them around my island, I discovered it was just too tight of seating and the high backs of the 2 stools on the very end covered our view of the beautiful island. So off we went, to return 3 barstools. Bryan was a charm to work with, we then bought 2 coordinating stools without backs and talk them neatly under the island counter.
