We had the best time at Slimeatory! We came to celebrate my daughter's birthday, and it ended up being such a fun and memorable experience. The kids had an absolute blast making slime and enjoying all the activities. The staff was incredible--so sweet, patient, and attentive the entire time, which made everything feel extra special. You can tell they really care about making it a great experience for the kids. There were also so many fun photo opportunities, which made it even more memorable. Such a unique and cool place--we'll definitely be back and highly recommend it for birthdays or a fun outing!

Came to check out this slime shop at the mall and it's such a fun experience. The employees are friendly and the store is very clean. There's also a seating area to play with clay

For $30 per slime, I expected it to feel like more of an experience, especially for kids. Instead, the staff had almost no personality or engagement, which is surprising for a place designed for children. My 3-year-old tried talking to the employees and they barely acknowledged him or even smiled. When I mentioned that it was our first time, the response I got was simply "okay." No explanation of how anything worked or what to do next. We were just handed the slime materials with zero instructions. No one told us the slime dye would stain hands, and now both my child's hands and mine are bright blue. A quick warning would have been appreciated, especially since I have a corporate job tomorrow and this looks very unprofessional. They also never explained the slime activator sitting on the tables. When I asked an employee what it was for, she smirked and said it's to make the slime less sticky. That would have been helpful to know before my son got slime all over his clothes. There's also a ball pit area where kids were sweating and playing with no shoes on, which didn't feel sanitary at all. Overall, for the price I expected a fun, guided activity for kids. Instead it felt unorganized, unwelcoming, and poorly run. 1/10 we won't be coming back.

Think Yogurtland but with slime-making (scents, added knick-knacks, food coloring, etc.). We were invited for a birthday party. It's cute. You can buy premade slime or make your own. You choose your slime (didn't realize there's various types of consistencies until coming here), and I guess your various toppings. The girls helping were friendly enough and patient with a bunch of loud kids. Unsure with the value since we were party guests, but my kid enjoyed it enough that he wants to go back and make slime again. It's cute. It's messy. It's for kids. It's fun. I'd return for my kid.

My son really loves slime, so Slimeatory was basically slime paradise for him. He was so excited to see all the diff textures of premium slimes, scents, charms, and merch. They offer pre-made slimes you can buy, or you can visit the DIY slime bar for a fun experience! My little guy chose the cloud slime because it's fluffy, and he picked green and teal for the colors, as his favorite is aquamarine. He also decided on cookies scent, which was adorable. I personally loved the apple scent, but of course, it's all about him. Lol You get to select 5 toppings like glitter, charms, foam beads, and sprinkles, and then you get to name your slime. The slime barista, Alexa, I believe, was fantastic and made the experience even more special. Izzy rate it 5/5! ;)

Very awesome location! Such a cute idea for birthday parties, events, holidays, and more! I totally recommend this place if you're looking for somewhere to make slime, they have all of the stuff as well as amazing staff. They are very helpful and are very informative!

Cool slime store! Pricey but fun experience allowing kids to pick their own slime texture, color, scents, 5 accessories and make a label for the slime. Price tag 26.99 + tax. There are other slime kits and slime for sale in the store. Located in the second floor of the brea mall.

From the moment we walked in, it felt like stepping into a creative playground. The colors, decorations, and slime setups are super fun and inviting. The staff is friendly, patient, and really great at explaining everything step by step--whether you're new to slime or a total pro. My kids had an absolute blast making their own slime. They got to choose textures, colors, and all kinds of fun add-ins (glitter, beads, charms--you name it). It wasn't just an activity, it was a full-on experience that kept them engaged the whole time. They were so proud of their creations and couldn't stop talking about it afterwards. I also really appreciated how clean and organized the space was, even though slime can get messy. Everything was well thought out, and I didn't feel stressed about the kids getting too wild with it. If you're looking for a fun, hands-on activity that sparks creativity and keeps the kids happy (while secretly being kind of fun for adults too), this is the place to go. We'll definitely be back!

My daughter didn't want to leave as soon as she arrived! She loves everything here.

SHOP WITH CAUTION, I WILL NEVER GIVE THEM ANOTHER CENT!…read more Long review but read if you don't want to get hosed also when shopping here... The positives: Clothing quality seems very high with soft and thick fabrics. Store is large and clean and we'll organized. Staff seemed friendly and polite although sparce and hard to locate or identify in the store itself... Side note : (I finally did identify someone who was an employee by going to the fitting room, when I asked him about the return policy, he said something to the effect of "when you buy online, the return policy is..." he paused trying to find the right words, so I helped the poor guy out by jumping in and saying: "a disaster?" he promptly and begrudgingly agreed.) Read on: The "need to knows": prices seem above average to high relative to other stores and relative to what you get... perhaps they are trying to compete with higher end stores...? I am not a huge shopper so I can't really say for sure, hence the reason this fact is not listed as a negative. Sizing is off, not just relative to normal sizes, but even within their own product lines. You really need to try stuff on and not assume a large in product x will fit the same as a large in product y. This is what brings me to the negatives.. The bad: the return policy is vague at best... We purchased online and shipped to store, and of course NOTHING FIT. We had no idea this meant there is absolutely no way to return for a refund. Surely this is stated in some vague return policy section online, but really, what store doesn't allow for a return and why would a client in this day and age think to check that or even fathom a company wouldn't stand by their product? Not only is there no refund but there is also no return for store credit LMAO, yes NO STORE CREDIT even!! What does this mean we asked: you have to find another item for the same price and do a like for like exchange. Guess what? The sizing SUCKS, as noted above, and they did not have ANY of the items we bought online that didn't fit in store for us to just exchange for the size that fit... So we had to wonder around aimlessly for similar priced items to exchange... After about an hour and finally choosing some random overpriced crap we really didint need, as opposed to wasting the $80+ we spent online, we went back to the checkout to try to exchange. The HILARITY continued at this point when our exchange items were like 40 cents Less than the items bought online.. Could we get 40c back? NO Could we just let them keep the 40c? No What could we do? Buy ANOTHER ITEM we don't need and pay the difference. LMAO rufk? So we bought a $6 tote bag from the checkout line and we're out another $5+ as this was basically our lowest cost option. (Not to mention I need another canvas tote like I need a hole in the head) So as we finalized this Ridiculous transaction what does the employee tell us: NOW THIS EXCHANGE IS FINAL SALE!! LMAO.. you gotta be fn kidding me... So after an hour and a half we left with $86 of overpriced items we didn't need and were absolutely stuck with, just lovely. To add to the already unbelievable experience, as my wife and I were dealing with this BS, there was a poor young lady at the checker next to us having essentially the SAME ridiculous conversation... Hers was aggravated further with a gift card or store credit involved which somehow, unsurprisingly, also was causing her purchase to be unreturnable/final sale and not an option to be credited back to her stored value card.. WTF? YEA, AS I SAID IN THE OPENING COMMENT, THATS THE FIRST AND LAST SALE FROM US!

Toxic Service & Complete Management Failure - AVOID THIS LOCATION…read more The Zara at Brea Mall is an absolute embarrassment to the brand. If you value being treated with basic human Decency, do not shop here. I walked out feeling disrespected and humiliated by a staff that is clearly untrained and hostile. The experience at the returns counter was a disaster from start to finish: The "Frontline" Issue: The associate (thin with black hair) was flat-out insulting. She rolled her eyes, talked down to me, and acted like following the store's own return policy was a personal burden to her. It wasn't just "attitude"--it was blatant unprofessionalism. The Incompetence: A second associate with curly hair actually found me an exchange item in a larger size, only to suddenly "change her story" and claim it wasn't policy. Don't offer solutions you don't understand; it's misleading and incompetent. The "Leadership": When the manager was called over, things actually got worse. Instead of de-escalating, the manager was arrogant, dismissive, and provided zero help. When the leadership is this rude, it explains why the staff feels comfortable mistreating paying customers. This isn't just one "bad day"--it's a systemic failure in training and accountability. Zara corporate needs to take a hard look at the Brea location because the current staff is driving loyal customers away for good. I will never spend another dime here.
