My husband and I are currently remodeling our bathroom, so we stopped by Floor and Decor to pick out tiles for our shower. We originally went to the Downey location, but they didn't have everything we needed. Since we were already heading to Fullerton for lunch, we decided to check out this location instead. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by America, and she made the entire experience so much easier. She helped us calculate our measurements and figure out exactly how many boxes of each tile we needed. On top of that, she took the time to help us choose the right grout and rebar color to match everything. I really appreciated how attentive and helpful she was throughout the process. I have never experienced that level of customer service at Floor and Decor before. She truly made a difference in our visit. read more

This location seems to have a much better selection than the Floor & Decor in Irvine! Also, the entire staff is always really friendly and helpful. Today, a gentleman named Jim helped my husband and I find exactly what we needed within just a few minutes. We have LVP on our stairs, with many damaged bullnoses. Jim helped us find bullnoses that matches our current LVP so that we don't have to replace our stairs, just the bullnoses. We were on a fact-finding mission today, and will be returning to purchase our pieces soon. Thanks, Jim! read more

Remodeling a small bathroom and was looking for tile etc. Had questions about tile and the various edging choices available for the shower. Jesus was very knowledgeable and demonstrated how my tile would look with different edge choices. He answered all my questions about installation and upkeep so that I felt I understood what I my best choices were. I consulted with my contractor and visited the store a second time and asked for Jesus again with niche questions and he helped me place my order for my contractor to pick-up. When I say we spent 3 hours in this Floor & Decor with Sean, I mean we practically clocked in and started collecting benefits (no commission though). We came in like lost puppies needing flooring for our YouTube mukbang-ASMR studio. That's when we met Sean. He greeted us with an enthusiasm that can't be replicated at Home Depot. He recommended that the Thassos Select Polished Marble would provide optimal crunch acoustics for deep-fried cheese pulls. Conveniently this tile is made in italy, also home of the deep fried cheese stick. This man ran the numbers in his head like he was crunching stock market data. I don't remember a single thing he said, but what I do know is this the best damn floor money can buy. Sean didn't just sell us tile. He sold us a vision. You really can't put a price on $26,000 worth of italian marble. It's so nice I might have to eat my next meal off of it. When we asked how Thassos Select Polished Marble would hold up against an accidental soy sauce flood. Sean didn't blink. He just nodded and said, "You're gonna need a good mop." Please get this man a raise and a forklift certification ASAP. So glad I took out a mortgage on my house for this. read more

Another solid location that has mastered picking, and loading! I ordered 500+ pieces of tile from this location and upon entering will call, I was greeted very friendly and instantly assisted. My order was picked, and fork lifted into my truck. They provide you with the pallet from of charge (no deposit required) as you would typically find yourself doing at like Home Depot for example. And also, you can dispose it and or even return it free of charge. I usually return them, to avoid the hassle of having to dump them. PRO-TIP: Scheduling pickup can be done, but as long as you're texted that you're order is ready - you can show up and be helped right away. The tile is great, but they referred me to Installation Made Easy for installation. Don't make that mistake! They were incredibly messy, didn't show up in time or with the correct tools. He even brought a transition piece that was too short for a standard doorway. He was supposed to return with the right size and install it, but he disappeared. Now 6 months later the grout is crumbling. At first their customer service supervisor, Melissa McGowan seemed interested in helping until I sent pictures of the missing grout and terrible workmanship. Now she is completely unresponsive. I don't know what to do. I've called Floor & Decor but have not heard back yet. My advice would be to find your own contractor and not use them read more

Apparently keeping an appointment is a problem for Floor & Decor. I had an appt. for 6pm, received a phone call at 5:22pm that it was cancelled. I was told that there was a scheduling conflict and that the designer that I was assigned to, Desirae was leaving for the day. I asked if there was anyone else on staff to assist and they said that the other designer had 3 appts. from 6-8pm. So was it a scheduling conflict as you were overbooked or did Desirae leave early? It's convenient that other people got to keep their appts. I HATE FLOOR AND DECOR. This is the 2nd time that there was a scheduling problem. read more

Watch Out! When I bought some tiles for my outdoor fire place, the sales person told us, any leftover tile, in its boxes can be returned ANYTIME. That's a straight up lie. It's 90 days. Shame on me on taking their word and not looking up the return policy myself. They gave me a in store credit of over 200 bucks. I was expecting my money back. read more

There is nothing more valuable than time . I base this review on today's transaction, I was at the Downey location and they were short product . So we had customer service call this location and do a spot check and hold the product. We paid at the Downey store and came to this location for pick up. And to add insult to injury they can't find the product and during the 1 hour wait we had to deal with rude and disrespectful comment's from staff. We are livid and definitely not coming back to this location. The sad thing is that we have been here a dozen times and the service in the late afternoon is great and everyone is helpful. Great Store with great selections of tiles for all project needs Excellent Customer Service. The General Manager Daniel went above and beyond when we had a major issue with the tile we ordered were shipped out to us and 12 of 17 boxes were damaged or broken. Instead of installing tiles were inspecting every boxes and tile for damage. The staff at the store in Fullerton did not give us a hard time about the returns. They immediately took care of the broken tiles and offered to provide a modest discount due to the inconvenience. Although they don't compensate for lost time. They did make good on their offer after we were able to pick up new tile and verify all the pieces were good. The credit returned for the damaged goods was truly appreciated as it was a matter of principle. Daniel and the staff there are the reasons we'll be back when its time to do the rest of our floors and Kitchen updates, and any other thing we need in between. read more

We arrived and parked in the lot, which looked a bit run down and had a few transients loitering about. Outside of the building, in the entrance area, it looked dirty with spiderwebs everywhere. Once inside, the store looked clean and had a great selection of flooring. They had aisles blocked off while employees worked in them, so we didn't get to see any tile down those few aisles during our visit. We also could've hung ourselves in the store, we couldn't find/get anyone to help with our questions. Employees were there, but all were preoccupied with tasks it seemed. I was impressed with the tile selection in the store and we eventually figured out everything ourselves, as to what we would need for the install of the tile. Six weeks ago, I made an appointment online for consultation and design assistance. I was assigned to Melanie. She was super helpful in the entire process. Provided her some of the project details in advance. When I met her, I showed some photos of what I wanted it to look and discussed how I needed to stick to the budget. Melanie walked me through the showroom for options, she was very knowledgeable on tile design process. Background, we were doing 2 bathroom renovations. By the time I met with Melanie we were into week 2 and wished I had consulted with her on the guest bath. I highly recommend scheduling, Melanie was very knowledgeable and patient. We also purchased tiles from Floor & Decor Fullerton for the guest bath. Thank you Melanie for the help and also appreciate the help from the fabulous team at Floor & Decor in Fullerton. My husband had to return for additional tiles and they helped get them from same pallet to make sure everything matched!! I was in a hurry when I visited the Floor & Decor location off of Imperial in Fullerton and I have to say that Enrique was truly a relief. He was extremely very knowledgeable and helpful in recommending the products I needed for my kitchen backsplash project and took me directly to all the locations in the store to find the supplies. He was super friendly through the entire process all the way through to loading everything for me into my car. 5 star service - Thanks, Enrique for making that shopping experience such an easy and pleasant one! read more

We bought black granite 12"x12" tile for our floor. The Tile installers have so sort through all the boxes and find tiles that are the same size and thickness because of the deviation in tolerances. They are +/- .250" in thickness and square. These were sold off a shelf in the will call and not on the showroom floor so I suspect they sold us scrap or seconds. No disclosure was provided that only 60% of what they sold us was usable. Moved them to three stars from my original one star since they saw the one star review then called and took the tile back. read more

I wanted to give this place a chance but I was extremely disappointed more than once with this location. My husband & I placed an order for tile after verifying when shipment would come in for a particular tile I had my eye on. A few days go by & I tried to contact the store multiple times during the day to get an ETA on our order. The hold times are ridiculous & the customer service is so awful. No one seems to know what's going on in that store. Finally about 5 days after placing an order & getting no update, my husband drove out to check in. The store is not out of our way but it was very inconvenient to have to personally go into the store just to check if the order had even been worked on. Our buy online pick up in store experience was so awful we ended up cancelling the entire order after getting the runaround & my husband witnessed the incompetence of the associates at this location. He even chatted with another customer who was told their order was ready & drove out there just to get the runaround. If you aren't in any rush to get a project done & you want to deal with a bunch of incompetent, horribly trained people by all means go to this Floor & Decor. read more

This store has a HORRIBLE return policy, they seem to have no problem returning the Chinese Flooring and tile they sell, but when it comes to tools or tile supplies, it's a whole different issue with them.. I bought a handheld Dewalt circular tile saw, used it and on day one the pressure regulator exploded, I went to return it for another and the manager gave me a real attitude about it, said we don't return or exchange used tools, he said I must "take it up with the manufacturer" UNREAL!, this is much unlike other stores like Home Depot, Lowes or Amazon who DO in fact return defective tools. So for anyone who buys a tool here, and it breaks shortly after, you must either purchase another one and own two, OR send it back to the manufacturer's repair center, wait up to 90 days for them to repair or send another one, and have your entire project on hold in the meantime... Ridiculous! The stores horrible return policy also applies to new/unused merchandise as well, I had a new unopened bag of tile spacers, cost: $11, purchased less than 3 weeks ago, unfortunately for me, I left the receipt in my other car and I needed to buy 2 tubs of Mapei grout, which was over $110 purchase, I asked if I can do a simple exchange and credit the $11 towards the grout, the Women at the counter checked and said the request was declined, Why? "I don't know, the system wont let me do it" I'm now blacklisted? One thing you will notice when you walk into Floor and Decor, there is NO Service Desk, The store must feel that having one will encourage customers to return more items, which they clearly don''t want.. The Manager at this store made that very clear to me.. It maybe a one stop store for a lot of people, but the store is a JOKE!, and the proof of that is the number of people who shop here, the store is empty every time I go in there, and now that I won't be returning, it's even less empty.. Think I'll buy my supplies at a flooring supply store instead, and if I need power tools, I'll order from Amazon ahead of time! Update: Floor and Decor rep replied to this post, but fails to acknowledge the store does NOT return defective tools, WITH a receipt and BEFORE the 90 days... Most other stores DO return tools that are proven to be defective, just NOT Floor and Decor.. Beware of this before buying any kind of power or hand tool! read more

Yay!! I just picked up my replacement floor and I am so excited. We had some serious water damage and on the road to recovery, with insurance recommended contractors being so flaky! It defiantly worked out in my favor. Putting everything together myself gave me the opportunity to work with the people and businesses I appreciate. I love Floor & Decor, particularly this store. I was there to pick up 42 boxes of tile and guess what the loaders Derek and Collin noticed my truck tailgate was long and didn't want to scratch my bed liner. WOW!!! they even loaded by hand. Bought 12 boxes of planks yesterday... the employees couldn't tell me how many planks are in the box, which is fine. Did the installation today and found out I'm short 3 pieces. Rushed all the way from OC arrived & parked at 6:59pm By the time I run into store it's 7:00pm 7:01pm, which there were still 1-2 customer checking out at the cashier The product I need is right there by the entrance door next to the cashier. This red hair dude told me I can't just grab 3 pieces right there in front of me and pay because I got in at 7:00pm while there's still customer paying. It's not like I'm gonna go around and shop for 10 minutes. It only take 1 minute to get my planks which is right there and pay. Dude just kept telling me to come back tmr morning at 7am! Great store. Came out here to check out materials we might want to use for a recent remodel and they were very helpful here in helping us gather ideas for the look wanted. You can buy samples and return them with ease and really had a lot of options available to suit the taste of almost anyone. Service - Very knowledgeable and friendly staff, each time we've come in, we had a good experience coming out. Parking - Always easy to find parking. Big lot, shared with a few other spots, but never too crazy. Btw - there's a floor and decor app that was VERY helpful in helping the wife visualize her color scheme and even backsplash for the kitchen.
