After seeing what was involved, they felt it was repairable. I agree with other reviewers - What a wonderful business! And what great customer service. I recently took a table lamp in for repair (one I had purchased in Japan while stationed there in the Marine Corps, and one that had a lot of sentimental value). It was also a 2-bulb lamp with a complicated switch - not your usual lamp. The Manager, Karen, and her assistant Mikeala agreed to take a look. I was given an estimate on cost and time to repair. In about two-and-a-half hours after dropping the lamp off, I was called to come get it; they had fixed the problem. To my surprised when arriving to pick-up the lamp, Karen, the Manager would NOT charge me. Mikeala had done a super job in figuring out the problem and making the needed fix. What great customer service this was, not to mention the kindness and respectful manner by which they treat their customers. Should my wife and I be in the market for a new lamp of any type, we will definitely start our search at this great San Clemente lamp store. read more

The staff is extremely knowledgeable in lighting design and great in assisting with custom lighting. We had a special area in our home that would be the focal point of our entrance. This is definitely not Flair Lighting. They have the same phone number so we were of the impression that they were connected. The Gentleman who owned Flair really knew his stuff!!! We made many, many purchases there over the 30 years we have lived in the area. He was always helpful and quick to get us the information we needed if he didn't already have the answer. He never left us hanging. The woman at Lighting Innovations has a LOT to learn about lighting parts!!!!! We have been in there three times now, each time several weeks apart and the woman there can never seem to figure out what it is we need for our track lighting. Each time she has said she'll have to give us a call on Tuesday when I can check with the manufacturer. Each time she has failed to give us a call. We give her a few days and then we call or stop back in. it's almost as if she has forgotten what we are looking for. After the third time we didn't hear back my husband found something online and we crossed our fingers that we were getting the correct thing. That all worked out! we wasted a lot of time with Lighting Innovations. I do not recommend this company in any way, shape, or form! read more

Though Judy says I didn't return Aaron's call, I did, even though I was on a business trip and between meetings when I received his message. I left a message on his voicemail repeating the information that my lamp burst into flames when I got it home and plugged it in. I heard nothing more. Judy also said that another store employee called and spoke with me the Tuesday after I called -- no one called and spoke with me. I was annoyed before, but now I am angry. This is ridiculous.
