Let me start by saying that this company was recommended by Victor's lighting in Orange. I priced out multiple companies and I will give them credit for competitive pricing, however, my experience has been truly disappointing on many levels. I set aside time to have their estimator come out to my house to give me a quote on four different projects and I ended up hiring them for all four projects. My house was the second of four jobs for the two gentlemen that performed the work, however, they did not finish at my house until approximately 4 or 5 PM. Needless to say the two workers continue to throw the estimator under the bus when I had to re-explain the jobs that needed to be done and they continue to attempt to upcharge me multiple times throughout the installation and cut corners such as asking if it's OK to hang a chandelier off center. I understand that mistakes get made, however, the workers left a mess in my garage, broke one of my motion sensor switches that needed to be replaced the next day and I had to make multiple trips out to Home Depot for different parts that the team needed. This in my opinion is completely unacceptable. Less than a week later, one of the lighted mirrors that they installed stopped working. I was told that it would be $145 to come out and evaluate the issue if it was "not something to do with their work." I told Steve that this has been a less than ideal situation and instead of apologizing, he simply said "I'm sorry you feel that way. " honestly if you're looking for trustworthy work with great customer service, this is NOT the company to choose. Since Steve wanted to let his ego get the best of him, I investigated the problem myself and found that his work was faulty, and the connections on the mirror were not secured by the appropriate size wire nut causing one of them to fall out, which in result cause the mirror to not turn on. As a working professional, I would never treat my customers that way and if you want to be respected and treated like a valuable customer DO NOT CHOOSE THIS COMPANY. read more

Because of my previous experience with Next Level, I decided to call them again for and install... and did not due my due diligence in requesting quotes from other companies. I know its been 6 years, but prices have increased by almost $30/can all in. Taking a look at my last install, it was $80, now it was about $110 (including providing my own switches) The final product was great, lights were installed quickly, the installers were quick and efficient, and the communication with Steve and John is still some of the best I've encountered in any business. Knocking down a star because installers left the place a little banged up including a drywall patch job that isn't flush, and an outlet left completely off the wall while they troubleshooted for a short that happened while installing. A few lengths of tape that were left on the wall where they put up plastic, and the actual plastic left over on the floor. I do have another light project coming up (which Steve/John have given me a quick estimate on) however this time I will most likely be shopping around. This should not deter you from trusting their service and their product, and Next Level should absolutely be in your list for consideration for your lighting services. read more

Needed to have two pendant lights installed over the kitchen island. My son had tried to unsuccessfully install them and stripped the head of a screw. Since I had electricians coming over, I also wanted help in replacing a recessed lightbulb in our 20 foot high entryway as I don't have a tall enough ladder. I contacted a number of highly rated providers here, but many seemed to indicate that all of this would require a lot of work which I knew instinctively shouldn't. The stripped head would be an extra $$ or installing the lighbulb would be an extra $$. Yes, these things do require a little more time which should make it a little more expensive, but not to the extent of the quotes I got. I just have to say this is a great customer service company. I had a friend use them about 3 years ago for some ceiling light. I like to job they at his house so I called them for a qoute. The price was very reasonable and they came and installed ceilng lights and light switches in my family room, loft and bedrooms. That was about a 18 months ago. Just recently a three lights in the family room weren't turning on until about after 5 minutes of the light switch being on. I called up Next Level Lighting told them about the lights being wierd not turn on right away. They asked me to send pics. He then texted me and asked if saturday would be ok to have someone come down ( which was two days later). They came and changed the 3 lights and informed me they were on warranty for 5 years.
