I just have to say this is a great customer service company. I had a friend use them about 3 years ago for some ceiling light. I like to job they at his house so I called them for a qoute. The price was very reasonable and they came and installed ceilng lights and light switches in my family room, loft and bedrooms. That was about a 18 months ago. Just recently a three lights in the family room weren't turning on until about after 5 minutes of the light switch being on. I called up Next Level Lighting told them about the lights being wierd not turn on right away. They asked me to send pics. He then texted me and asked if saturday would be ok to have someone come down ( which was two days later). They came and changed the 3 lights and informed me they were on warranty for 5 years. No hassle or fighting they just did it. The next day they texted and followed up to make sure everything was working and how the service call went. Went with these guys to do an electric panel upgrade, with tesla charger (all permitted) on rental property. They handled all aspects of the install without having to meet in-person (landlord friendly) and coordinated the city inspection as well as the stucco wall repair. This was my second time having Next Level install recessed lighting in our home. They did a great job in 2015 so I didn't hesitate to contact them again. The first time they came out for an estimate, I accidentally locked myself out of the place and wasn't able to let the employee in (lol)! I hate to have to write this review, but unfortunately believe it's worth sharing for others to avoid wasting their time. I reached out on 4/6 for a quote and began working with steve on some preliminary numbers, then we scheduled an appointment for 4/11. on the afternoon of 4/10, steve reached out to reschedule stating a tech had called out. I guess not a big deal, we rescheduled for 4/16. the tech ended up coming and we scheduled a service date for 4/26. today less than 24 hours before the service time steve let us know we needed to reschedule. no remorse or apology besides "I've got 2 guys that have called off I hadn't anticipated loosing" and claiming he would call other companies to help. by 7 pm I still hadn't heard back from anyone. we needed this service done so we could have our appliance up and running by this weekend but I guess not anymore. I'm second-guessing if these 1500 reviews are legitimate customers who've actually paid for services done. do your own due diligence before contacting. read more

Reached out to 4 businesses Friday morning, received responses from all same day. 3 said yes, 1 said no. One had outrageous prices, one was haggling over the phone and/or telling me they may not be able to complete the work due to some reason or another (gave me no confidence), and then there was this business. Next Level Lighting was able to give me an accurate, fair priced quote over Yelp messaging and was able to accommodate all our needs fairly quickly, which included ceiling fan removal, addition of 4 recessed lights with dimmer, and changing a couple outlets out. Three gentleman arrived on time the following day and completed the work within 1 hour. There is also a 10 year warranty on the work completed, which I wasn't aware of beforehand but pleasantly surprised by. I would use again and/or recommend to friends. Thanks! read more

Our appointment was scheduled for 3:00 PM, but Steve's crew unexpectedly showed up at my door 2.5 hours early--with no heads-up. Naturally, no one was home to let them in at that time. While I was in a business meeting, Steve called me multiple times. When I eventually returned his call, he seemed irritated that no one was available to let them in. I reminded him that our appointment was clearly set for 3 PM, but he didn't seem to care and wanted $45/hour for each of his workers to wait. When I declined, his tone became even more agitated, and he ended the call abruptly. I'm still unclear on how it's the client's fault when they arrived 2.5 hours early. A more professional approach would have been to offer a reschedule, not to act frustrated and unreasonably feel entitled to extra payment. Unfortunately, the interaction left me feeling like just a number to Next Level. Call these guys if you want to be mistreated. read more

Three words to describe the customer service experience here, "W.T.F?" If you are looking for good installation with an arrogant customer service, go for it. I had to cancel the appointment with them because from time and time again they were rude and could not arrive on time. My appointment kept getting pushed back, when I am the customer accommodating my own work schedule during the holidays. Again, "W.T.F." I am writing an honest review here so no one else has to experience the hassle I went through, which was driving back and forth to meet with them to find out they can't show up for another few hours. A little HEADS UP, would've been nice and respectful. When I tried to reschedule, gave me bs time frame, pushing it wayyyy back like few weeks away from the actual appt day when they were the ones that wanted to change the time schedule last min. Maybe if I was getting a couple huge chandeliers installed they would've been nicer and made it a priority so they can post the photos. Just don't go to them for recessed lights. I don't do well with people that can't show up on time, can't communicate well with clients, and are absolutely inconsiderate of other people's schedules. Good Luck. read more

Steve was so helpful and responsive when we inquired about installing recessed lighting in our new home. We requested estimates from other businesses but decided to go with Next Level Lighting because of their promptness and reasonable pricing! Some other quotes we got were significantly higher! Scheduling a date was easy and Steve also sent a reminder via text the day before. The crew came early the day of installation (they called to let me know ahead of time). They were friendly and knowledgeable - they know what they're doing! We also had them install pendant lights, do pre-wiring for a ceiling fan, and install a Ring doorbell and they did a great job.
