Before mounting my TV above the fireplace, they used tape to give me an idea of how the TV installation would look and its position. Sergio and his team were on time (was able to come within 2 days of communication,wore plastic shoe covers, laid plastic and blankets where they were working. They replaced 2 high ceiling chandeliers and a dining room table in 3 hours. They patched their work and cleaned up. They do not haul away boxes or old lights but not a big deal. They gave us a reasonable quote with basic breakdown after seeing photos and a short work description, and I accepted. They came on time and soon the additional staff came to assist. I was pleased with the thoroughness they took to assess, verify recheck, etc. without rushing or assuming anything. They were careful with the units as well as our floor and cleaned up after each main activity. As there was sufficient amperage to the previous oven, there was no need to modify any wiring. We went with Lighting and Electrical to get a few light switches fixed (1 switch needed to be replaced, and 1 switch needed to be triaged for fixing). We also got recessed lights for our guest room. The first time they came, they fixed 1 light switch and installed the 4 recessed lights, and we paid $730. The light switch they fixed was crooked. The brand of recessed lights used wasn't the greatest quality (Sunco). They did diagnostics for the second switch, but told us they would have to come back to fix it and that they would give us a quote to fix it. They didn't send us a quote until I had made multiple attempts to call and message them for it. For the second time they came, the price to fix the light was $195 (they needed to do some rewiring work). I appreciated that they used shoe covers and tried their best to clean up after the work. They also tried their best to straighten the light switch that was crooked during the first job. They were able to straighten the panel, but the switch inside the panel wasn't super straight. Both times, they were late and at least 30 minutes past the time window they provided us. Overall, I would not recommend Lighting and Electrical and would not hire again. read more
