I contacted Lighting and Electrical to have installed a 240 v outlet installed for a new microwave & oven in the kitchen. I already had a 240 v outlet and needed another dedicated line brought over for new appliances. Several other contractors did not return my calls or inquiries; however, Hector did and we had both a telephone call as well as exchange of pictures so he could get a better idea of the project. He was able to come over to the property to see the job and provided a quote the next day. The quote was fairly priced and the work quality was excellent. The quote provided an option for 240v wire or a 120 v wire (I could downgrade my microwave if needed). I went with the 240 v option and Lighting and Electrical were out the next day to install. Lighting and Electrical protected the entire work environment then cut, installed, patched and textured the drywall! Usually with electricians, they cut holes and you are stuck patching and repairing the mess they have made. Several of their electrical installers were drywallers (so the quality of drywall work was professional grade). I am attaching a few pictures of the drywall patch (I still need to paint and will do that tomorrow but it is easier to see the quality of their patch without the paint). When they left the premises was clean and they had labeled my electrical panel. Very friendly employees. I don't usually write this much for a review (or leave many reviews) but this is one I just had to write one for. Excellent work and I will use them again 100%. Alex and his team came to my house today to install 4 wafer lights and dimmer switches in each of four rooms in my house. They had great reviews on line and a very fair price quote, so I hired them. They were a little late arriving, I presume because of a delay on another job, but they kept me updated with text messages . When they arrived they did an excellent job of covering up everything in the rooms to keep everything clean. They clearly explained to me how they would proceed and marked where they were going to place the lights , and got clearance from me before drilling any holes. They had a three, then four man team working and quickly got the job done. I believe they had a fifth man come and patch some small holes in the drywall they had to make to run the wires. Overall I am quite pleased with the quality of the work and the fair price. They were all friendly and skilled in their work. Do not use this company! It's bad business with owner Hector. I told him to put up smart lights for the whole house for 7hrs of the work we agreed. Ended his 3 men crew could only put up the front house afterall and Hector said the estimate was for the front only? For 8 total hrs? He must be out of his mind for someone to pay him 175/hr work, $1400 to install the light. The sad part was his installer, who was his brother, knew we were doing for whole house from the beginning and later changed his story by saying the job was for the front only per Hector. After reading the reviews, I called Lighting and Electrical for a dedicated 240V line for my new steam oven. Hector asked us to send some pictures for him to give us a quote for the project. Within the same day, he was able to give us a reasonable quote quickly, and he was able to start our work the next day. Alexis and Victor from Lighting and Electrical arrived at the scheduled time and explained the process and ideas on how he was going to get the work done. They protected the entire work areas and work very efficiently. They tried their best to cut as less drywall as possible to minimize the damage. They ALSO help us to patch and texture the drywalls too!!! Their drywall patching quality was professional grade because they have a guy who used to be a drywall professional. We ended up asking them to fix some additional drywalls damaged from the previous plumbing work. They cleaned up after their work was done. They are very friendly and professional. Awful installation. The lights were loose, leaning forward, and moved because they weren't installed properly. It looked rushed--done the easiest way for a quick buck, not how the manufacturer recommended. The same people who messed it up made us pay extra just to have the fixtures plumb with the wall. The boss canceled on us three times, lying about waiting on a part. When I finally called to complain about the extra charges, Hector mocked us and said he's not there to make it look good, just to put it up--then ended the call abruptly. Completely unprofessional. Avoid this company EDIT: We told him about the issue right away when they came back to fix it. His workers--which were his father and brother--even said that the lights were meant to be installed against the wall so they could be secured properly. He even admitted that himself, but kept saying he didn't care how it looked as long as it was up to code. That's ridiculous--why would I want to hire someone who openly admits he's not concerned with how the final result looks? read more

Alex also removed a cable wire in my home office that did not serve any purpose, but was unsightly. I recently had lighting and electrical work done in our home by a fantastic team--Sergio and his crew, -Victor, Jose, Kevin, and Jr. They installed a cascading chandelier and, to accommodate it, carefully moved the ceiling outlet. They also reoriented a large chandelier, turning it 90 degrees and repositioning it so it's perfectly centered over the dining table. I had four canless lights installed in a bedroom on first floor with a kasa smart dimmer switch. I also had them install ceiling fan box, smart ceiling fan, expanded dual gang box to three gang, and install kasa smart switch. Sergio and Jose were very professional in their work. Plastic tarp was laid down from entryway to the work areas. They also made sure to mark the areas for fixtures and discussed if it met my approval for work to begin. Overall, the service was great because they did not need to cut as many wholes to run the switch leg. Sergio sparingly cut as needed and they were able to also patch/repair/texturize the holes after the job was done. The job took a bit longer due to it being on the first floor but I would recommend their service to anyone. They demonstrated their expertise with wiring the switch legs, cleanup, and repair of the drywall holes.
