I've never had an EV before and needed to install a home Tesla charger. EV pros made it very easy and educated me throughout the process so I felt comfortable. First I took some pics of my electric panel and they quoted a price and made recommendations for where to put the charger using the pics. Price was $400 which was the cheapest of the 5 quotes I got (mine was installed right behind my electric panel but they charge more if they have to run the wire for a longer distance to a location away from the panel). The installation was scheduled as soon as my charger was delivered and the technician came on time and finished the job very efficiently (he said he had done over a thousand installs over the last decade). They also called the city because I wanted to get it permitted (the permits cost extra and are paid to the city). Overall great experience and they clearly knew how to handle the job. I would highly recommend them if you want to install a home EV charger correctly. read more

Wanted to install an EV charger in my garage so I got quotes from 5 different electricians in the area. I chose EV Pros because the contact person Russel had the best communication, response times, and gave the most informative answers when comparing options for where to put my charger. And their prices were most competitive to top it off. Russel also handled the whole process of pulling city permits for a nominal extra fee on top of cost of the permit. Other electricians did permits but required me to provide all the info myself. Our lucid charger lost power and it turns out it had slightly tripped. Lots of charges. Mostly for Teslas. I drive a Hyundai and have never not had a charger available. Restrooms, Gelsons, and indoor work spaces are great. Also outdoor seating. Can't wait for Costa Mesa location to open as I live in Newport Beach. But Santa Ana Rove is east to get to. Rates seem good too. On site staff of there is a problem with charging. EV Pros strikes again! Jeff scheduled us quickly after I reached out to him to move one of the NEMA EV outlets that Kwan had installed to the other side of the garage. We decided to install a water softening unit years after Kwan put in the outlet, and we had also bought a second EV in the meantime as well, so this was totally on us. Russell came out and he clearly had seen the movie before. He told me that with water softeners, they pop the outlet much further up the wall and run it over the garage door. Russell was also so thoughtful as to leave part of the conduit for the plumber in case it was needed. Moved into a new home where the previous tenants did not have EV's, so I quickly hopped on Yelp to find a company that could install a wall charger. I found EV pros and called after reading the good reviews and after discussing pricing, we made an appointment. On the day of the appointment, the technician showed up on time. After talking about the different installation options, he quickly got to work. Everything came out well. The reason for removing one star is due to pricing. Because our Tesla charger wasn't going to be long enough to reach both cars in the garage, our technician had to add in an extension to the outlet of about four feet, which cost us $25 per feet. Which made the total about $220 more (longer labor and parts) than what other companies quoted. Considering that we live in a rental, I was trying to be as cost effective as possible as we wouldn't be getting this money back. Just something to keep in mind. read more
