We're so glad we chose Eric to install our Tesla EV charger! Our electrical panel is located on the second floor, so running the wiring down to the garage on the first floor was quite a challenge. Eric was very experienced and did an excellent job identifying the direction of the ceiling joists on the first floor. He was able to precisely determine the best locations to make openings in the ceiling to run the wiring, which made the installation much more efficient and minimized unnecessary damage. Before starting the work, Eric also took great care to protect our home from dust. He covered the floors and other areas that could easily get dusty with protective plastic sheeting. He was professional, knowledgeable, careful, and reasonably priced. We're very happy with his work and would definitely recommend Eric to anyone looking for a reliable electrician for an EV charger installation! read more

I needed a kitchen light switch fixed and contacted Eric based on previous YELP reviews. When I called mid day he informed me that he only did the automobile plugin stuff but asked where I lived and if the light switch was the only thing I needed fixed. When I said Lake Forest and yes to the only thing needing a fix, he said he would come by in about an hour. When he came he immediately went to work on the switch and in less than a minute the lights were back on, but the lights were flashing on and off. This was a problem before the lights stopped coming on altogether. He switched some of the light bulbs with other working lights in the hallway and they worked in the kitchen and began flashing in the hallway. To that, Eric determined that the flashing lightbulbs were "crap", recommended getting some new light bulbs to replace those that flashed. It wasn't the switch that was faulty but the lights themselves. Eric said that he would not charge me anything for his work that day which was so generous and appreciated by me. You don't find people like that anymore. As it turns out he has family living in my neighborhood. He also gave me some advice on another outdoor light that we are repairing. Can't say enough good things about Eric. read more

Honestly Eric did an amazing job! Came to our house to fix an old charger and immediately was like, whoever installed this did a terrible job. Helped me choose the right charger. Today he came, while I was at work, and was able to install everything. Not only that, did a clean job AND fixed the holes the other guy left. Appreciate Eric a ton and will recommend him again read more

Couldn't be happier with Eric and the work he did installing our Tesla Wall Connector. He is clearly an expert at what he does, and you can tell immediately that he has a tremendous amount of experience. That expertise really showed through in our charger installation. He was extremely knowledgeable, answered any questions I had, and gave straightforward recommendations. The finished installation was exceptionally clean and meticulous. Communication was excellent from start to finish, his pricing was very reasonable, and he clearly takes a lot of pride in the quality of his work. It's rare to find someone with this level of expertise who is also so upfront, responsive, and easy to work with. Eric is absolutely at the top of his field, and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again. Highly recommend! read more

Eric did a great job running a new electrical line to my garage to power a higher voltage plug for my new Hyundai SUV. The job and work is super clean and minimal. I am super happy with the final result. The whole thing took maybe half a day, but Eric had to run wiring from one side of my house to the opposite side of the house so this was not the easiest job. Lots of time in attic, tapping into electrical panel, etc. Thank you Eric and I won't hesitate to reach out the next time I need electrical work done. I recommend Eric 100%... actually this review reminds me I need to pass Eric's info to my MIL who also needs a charger outing at her house. read more

As a retired business owner, I'm usually underwhelmed by a lot of people in businesses and don't often give positive reviews out, but in this case, I am making an exception I recently needed to add a 220 line in my garage for an electric vehicle I was getting. It was frustrating as several people came out from other companies and gave me absolutely crazy quotes trying to take advantage of me. Then I was referred to Eric and I'm thankful I did. He was responsive, did a great job installing the 220 line and gave me a fair and honest price. And on top of that is a very nice guy. I recommend him very highly. read more

Eric was on time and finished the installation very quickly. He also went above and beyond and installed a hook for holding my EVSE's cable since mine did not come with one. He even tightened up all the wire connections on my entire breaker panel and checked for proper voltage across all of them. His quote was SIGNIFICANTLY lower than other electricians. I would highly recommend him for any EV charger installation job. read more

I contacted Eric after being recommended by the dealer where I leased my car. He requested pictures of the electrical panel and the wall directly inside the garage to assess the extent of the EV outlet installation and price. Eric arrived on the scheduled date and we agreed on the mounting location of the outlet. He completed the installation in short order using an EV rated NEMA 14-50 outlet. Eric even took extra time to tighten the wire connections on every breaker in the panel. I will definitely recommend him to friends and family. read more

I highly recommend Eric for EV charger installation--his specialty! He's a straight shooter bid-wise. Very professional. Good clean work.

I called Eric after looking through Yelp for a last minute electrician on a weekend due to my outlet in the backyard that was not working properly. Eric was so helpful even though he was off work. We initially had another electrician attempting to understand what was needed for the EV charger installation. My wife called and told me that this electrician was asking a lot of questions. She put me on the phone with him; he was completely clueless and his estimate was $150 over Eric's. He tried to justify his fee because he'd have to go shopping for parts and because he'd have to educate himself. He lied about the cost of a new breaker that could cost atleast $200. I checked with Lowe's; it's not $200! just asked him to not touch anything and leave. Fortunately we got a lead on Eric; he was prompt and offered to get the job done on the same day. I've never owned an EV and needed the charger assembly ASAP because dealership did not fully charge my car due to an intern's oversight (the salesperson was livid!) Eric's prompt and excellent installation allowed me to charge it the first night! We would recommend Eric above and beyond any electrician you may already have on file because the EV charger installation this highly specialized. He arrived with all the necessary parts and got the job done in about an hour without pestering my wife with a ton of ridiculous questions Eric followed up at lest three times to ensure the system was properly working. Now that is excellent customer service! read more

Eric was recommended by the dealer where I purchased the vehicle. We spoke by phone, and he had me send him pictures of the electrical panel. His initial assessment was that no panel upgrade would be necessary, but he would need to inspect the panel to be sure. We scheduled a day for him to come by to check the panel and the placement of the charger. With some slight changes to the panel, he could make room for the required breaker. Originally, I thought the charger would need to be installed on the outside of the house, but Eric assessed inside the garage and identified the perfect location for the charger. His estimate was lower than I expected based on my research. We agreed on the price. He came by at the end of his day, so he was willing to do the electrical work while he was there. Eric has chargers with him to sell, but I was looking for a charger with an app, which he did not have. I asked Eric if there was a charger he recommended, and fortunately, it was the same one I had decided on. I ordered the charger, and it arrived a couple of days later. As Eric promised, he stopped by the following day and installed the charger. I'm very happy with the install. Eric is very knowledgeable, prompt, professional, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend Eric. read more

Eric gave me a quote with just a few photos of the breaker box and my description of where I wanted to have the charger installed. He came by and realized that he needed to install another part and I can tell how much he didn't want to ask for an increase over what he quoted me. I can tell he was uncomfortable so I asked him how much more is the part he needed and it was $25 more. I never seen an installer hesitating to ask for a small increase to cover his cost. His price was already way less than what I was quoted at the dealer as well as another EV charger installer I called. He came on time and he completed the work quickly. Eric was recommended from the dealer where I had purchased my Hyundai Ioniq 5. I had sent him pictures of my panel and where I would like the EV charger installed. He arrived promptly on the installation date and completed the job within a couple of hours.
