When my elderly parents circuit blew out at there residence, I found that their panel was antiquated and many of the switches were not functional. We needed to get assistance right away and picked out some of the top rated electricians. I began dialing them up and Premier was the only one that picked up the phone and was able to come out right away. Alvaro arrived and I showed him the dead outlets in the kitchen and the location of the panel. Alvaro inspected the panel and we determined that the old panel was not safe and needed to be replaced. Alvaro temporarily relocated the circuit and was able to get my parents kitchen back up until the panel could be replaced. Premier provided an estimate on the spot which included all facets of the job, which included a new panel, all the inspections as well as the stucco repair. Premier has done an excellent job communicating, coordinating, ensuring that the documents were completed, explaining the steps to be done and providing status of the project. Alvaro and the team completed the work quickly requiring the power to be shut off for a minimal amount of time. They put in the new panel, checked everything and cleaned up after completing the work. I have used Yelp for many years and this is my first negative review. In the evening, an electrical outlet sparked and smoked so we called an electrician asap. After looking at our panel and the outlet, he said it would be $11,500 in repairs. I gave him a check for $1000.00. It was an emotional reaction on my part in thinking our house would burn down. I'm 79 yrs old and should have slowed down to do some research. I called Premier Power to cancel the contract. If you are a senior citizen and the contract is signed in your home, you have 5 days to cancel and I took 1 1/2 days. I knew I would be charged $199.00 for the service call and thought I would get $801.00. I got a $500.00 refund check. I was told that they had sent for permits so I called the City of Irvine permit dept. They said that the electrician paid @ $61 for a permit leaving around $250. Premier Power said that they worked on a plan for a few hours so that is why I got $500. To anyone out there, please do your research and do not use this company. Their quote was far and away much higher than any other company. I called over 10 and I did not need a new panel. I paid $3600.00 to get all of our outlets replaced by Henseth Electric - about $1500 less that the $5000 quoted Premier Power. Costly lesson for me but hopefully not for anyone else. read more

First all, I opened a project, a company called "Pristine Power Electric" responded, then set up an appointments with "Premier Power Electric". I was confused, they explained to me said the two are sister companies. When one doesn't have available technician then they will try to sent from another one. During the conversation, I asked for the quote. I was told the diagnosis is free, based the diagnosis result a quote will be provided. When the guy came today, first, he didn't prepare any shoe covering and has no intent to take off the shoe to enter. So I provided the shoe cover, they he came in check the electricity on few outlets. Without explanation, he just asked for $500 to start the analysis. We feel like this is totally waste our time. If you charge for analysis on hourly basis, just say it up front. We will understand and pay if we agree. We don't like this kind of dishonesty so we let this guy leave immediately. Disappointing Experience - Get Another Quote Before Hiring! I hired Premier Power Electric for my new office lighting, hoping to create a softer, warmer atmosphere instead of the harsh fluorescent lighting I had. The technician, Blake, quoted me $700 plus a $79 fee, which I agreed to, expecting a professional result. Unfortunately, the lighting ended up far too bright and mismatched in color -- one room was even completely orange. When I called to have the issue adjusted, Mary in customer service was extremely dismissive and insisted the job was "done" and payment was required, refusing any follow-up. After posting a review, Blake returned to adjust the hues but then removed MORE THAN HALF my bulbs, took them with him, and still charged me full price!!! It's been over a year, and this experience still doesn't sit right with me. I strongly recommend getting multiple quotes before doing business with this company unless you like wasting money then you've come to the right place. read more

I will start off with the good, Chris Orozco our tech was great. He was very nice and dedicated to the job. The bad, starts with the office. They are real quick with the follow up to get the 10% down and then do not follow up after that. When the electric company Edison came out they told us the unit would have to be moved to meet regulations. We called the office and emailed them the details of Edison's comments, pictures; the lady on the phone stated "Oh this is going to be more money" and a tech will come out to review. Nobody followed up, until we contacted with a date and time. Day came and time passed, we called the office again and spoke to Mary who said we called to change the time. Both my husband I confirmed neither of us called, then she said someone call, which again we said nobody called - then she kept interrupting stating "how can I help you" over and over. It was such a joke and unprofessional with lies. We scheduled with Chris and told him they should have known prior the city and electric companies requirements on the estimate - no additional cost was applied since Chris completely agreed. However, we are going on the 3rd week of No Final inspection - no follow up, we emailed, text, called and still nothing has been said by this company which looks as if they never pulled the permit. We are still fighting this battle. Again, i only gave the 2 stars because of Chris who did a great job, very nice, and professional - everything else about this company has been a nightmare. Premier Power Electric arrived on time for our job. They installed 15 new LED recessed lights in our kitchen, changed out the LED bulbs on 6 garage light fixtures that had 6 bulbs each. This enabled us to see that we had one fixture that had an apparent short. Sadly, due to the old age of this fixture there is no available comparable for its replacement. Now we will need to replace 6 LED lighting fixtures in the garage ceiling in order to look uniform. Our last repair was at our barn. Premier Power Electric had to ground and cover the two electrical boxes on the outside of our barn. This was an unfinished job left by the ADT electrician. All the work by Premier was done easily, with a smile, and in great time. Premier Power Electric offered us a great service at a good price. Their quality of service is par none. We needed someone to come after 7pm which is considered emergency hours and I knew it would cost more but their emergency hour fee was way less then I expected which really surprised me.
