Volt Texh was quick to respond and even though I'd gotten power to return they kept their appointment and tested the circuits for us. They discovered that one of the breakers in our panel had gone bad- sometime before we moved in over a decade ago. Not only that, the fix for the bad breaker was to 'double-tap' and overload the circuit that was giving us trouble.
