What a fabulous experience working with Ben and his team. We needed to upgrade our electric panel and then found out from SCE that it also needed to be relocated. Ben was an excellent communicator who rallied in my City permit department and a SCE planner to coordinate the project as timely as possible. His team is timely, reliable and professional. He also works with a company that does drywall repair (if needed). We ended up needing to go through our inside walls for the relocation. Ben rewired my panel and installed a couple of outside outlets for me. What made the service 5star was that Ben stayed in communication with me when he was tied up at an urgent job that was just ahead of me on the schedule, and when he made it to my house, we agreed on the project on the spot and he said he could do it the same evening. After he went into my electrical panel, he walked me through some issues he saw (some of these things were not a surprise as the previous owners seemed to maybe hire some folks who did things not quite up to code) and gave me an estimate to correct the deficiencies. Again, we agreed and 45 min later, he had not only fixed the issues but also freed up two locations in my panel for future use (in case we ever wanted to add an EV charger). Called Volt Tech Electric last year about installing an outdoor outlet and they gave us the most reasonable price. Fernando came out and was really nice and explained everything. He saw that we had a really old and outdated breaker box which is a fire hazard and recommended we get it replaced asap and gave us a quote and even worked with us for a payment plan since it was a big project. He redid the breaker box, installed the outdoor outlet and fixed some broken outlets, pretty much everything we needed. After a year, one of the outlets stopped working even though the breaker was on. Fernando came out again to look at it and again he was very nice to work with. I broke one of the switches on my kitchen light, and ordered smart lights to install. I thought that I might be able to do it myself, but after I removed the plate, I realized this was a bit out of my league. Ben was a lifesaver. I had circuit breaker issues and I was hearing electrical noises after my power went out for half of my house, weird. I opened the circuit breaker and heard sparks. This company installed my Tesla charger device. I believe they installed it 5 years ago. Last week the cable is not charging to my Tesla. I called for help. I am ready pay for what ever it cost. He asked me to do step by step over the phone. I did what he asked me to do. It's working again. And he didn't charge me at all. In the past I called different electrician. No one will help you. When they come 1st hour $100 to $150 some company they haven't done anything yet already 1 hour and 30 minutes. It was my bad experience with other company. I do appreciate he help me over the phone. Because it's convenience. If he want to make more money out of me. He could say I can come on Monday or Wednesday. And charged me. In our life, honesty is the best way to live your life. I reached out to this company in an emergency because the power went out in our kitchen, putting all the perishables in our fridge at risk. When I called, initially they said they would be able to come the same day, but within a few hours. However, they were able to have a technician here within an hour, so I am very grateful for the urgent help. They helped us diagnose with problem and provided two options; either replace the entire panel or replace the broken breakers and clean the hardware within the entire panel to keep us going. We opted for the latter, and he was able to get it done extremely quickly (within an hour, if I had to guess). I would say the services performed were not cheap, but since we have an older home where matching parts are harder to find, I understand why the cost is reasonable. He then did a walkthrough of the entire house to make sure everything was functioning properly. He also provided advice on how to keep the issue from reoccurring for now. We have an older home and are planning to replace the entire panel soon, so after the repair he sat down and answered all my questions about the replacement quote and what the process entails. I will definitely consider hiring them again for the panel replacement. Had a breaker trip last night that kept tripping when reset. I explained the problem to Ben around 11am this morning, by 1pm he and his colleague arrived to diagnose the problem. By 3pm, the wiring was fixed, the circuit panel was cleaned out and polished up, two outlets had been replaced with gfci outlets, and he even helped fix up one of our front lights in the driveway. Ben went above and beyond to fix the issue I had and some I didn't even know about and to top it all off, he even cut a good deal together for it all.
