We have previously used Ryan Electric for a whole house rewire job 4 years ago , we were completely satisfied then and decided to use them again for another whole house rewire job. They completed the job this August , on time and within the stated estimate . We had a small snag with some drywall patching that the company immediately took care of to my satisfaction . I've dealt with a lot of Businesses while overhauling my mother's property and this company I have to say is one of the best !! Professional , honest ,hardworking , they absolutely do their best for their customers and it shows . I would not hesitate to use this company again for any future needs or to recommend to others read more

Requested to get a quote to install a 240 outlet for my EV charger. Scheduling was very easy. Left a message over the holidays and they got back to me the next business day to schedule a visit. During the visit Robert was able to see what was described to him over the phone, checked my fuse box, confirmed that the work is possible and provided a quote that is satisfactory. I asked if he can perform the work then and there which he is able to accommodate the request. About an hour later the work is completed and he showed me what was done and provided me information such as what switch he connected to. No drywall repair or paint was needed. Would hire again for anything electrical. read more

Quick response, very helpful, solved quickly, and a good price. this was to fix a breaker panel issue. Recommended!

Robert came the very next day after we called and installed a NEMA 14-50 receptacle for our electric vehicle. He did an excellent job and was very knowledgeable and friendly. He worked with us to recommend the best placement for the receptacle. He also noticed a safety issue with our wiring and was able to fix it for a small charge. Overall the service, pricing, and experience were excellent. I highly recommend Ryan Electric! read more

Was a pleasure to deal with Ryan in getting my light switch wiring corrected and new dimmer installed + helping with light install. Very responsive and got the job finished earlier in the day than expected. Highly recommended read more

Ryan was very prompt in responding. He tried to troubleshoot the problem with the electrical system. He let me know that he did not have availability for service on the day I called, but he did provide steps to check the panel to see if it was a minor problem. That was very helpful and appreciated. read more

I needed a new electric vehicle charger installed, along with a new receptacle on the side of my house for a floodlight cam and a new outlet above the fireplace. I got quotes from several vendors, and I was immediately impressed by Ryan Electric. Robert Ryan, the owner of the company, personally came out and toured my home to discuss the best options. This was NOT an easy job -- my panel is on the side of the house, but the garage is one level below. It also required drilling into concrete. Other vendors did not even bother to come out and said they couldn't help or just gave vague estimates only based on pictures. Ryan Electric had the best price, and I could immediately tell that Robert knew what he was doing. I'm so glad I hired him! He arrived on the install day promptly as promised, and he and his son worked the entire day to get everything done. At the end of the day, everything was PERFECT! The EV charger was flawlessly installed and gives the maximum amount of power that my car can take. He installed the floodlight camera exactly where I asked for it to be placed. And he installed the new outlet above the fireplace, which works perfectly. I will definitely hire him again, and I highly recommend Ryan Electric if you are looking for a reliable, affordable, honest, and hard-working electrician. read more

Robert and Kris are amazing. We got our panel upgraded because we more amperage for our EV charger. They friendly, helpful, communicative every step of the way. They are busy (that's a good thing), so their availability is about 2-3 weeks out at the time of this review. Pricing was very competitive, we chose them because they provided the best deal for upgrade and charger install local to us, and they did not disappoint. read more

I was looking for an electrician for quite some time even via Yelp, and after asking my chiropractor I got a reference for Ryan Electric. I normally check the Yelp reviews to see what kind of complaints are being made against the business and then choose accordingly. Ryan had all great reviews. I needed to get a 200 amp upgrade for the house with all the electrical devices running. The team came in an quickly installed the panel, fixed our kitchen/dining outlets, and scheduled certification for the panel by the city. I think this was an awesome seamless experience. Robert is the honest electrician! read more

Edited 01/27/24 I texted and left a request for a quote on the website. They didn't respond to either. I wasn't aware that it was necessary to send a message via Yelp alongside the one I already sent to info@ryanelectricca.com. My understanding was that utilizing the company's website for communication would be adequate. However, I do truly appreciate the prompt response to the Yelp review as well as the specific preference for communication. read more

Robert has helped out twice now with some work needed in my house. First it was installing two bathrooms fans. The second was fixing a shorted outlet/plug. I highly recommend him for your home electrical needs! read more

We hired Ryan Electric to upgrade our old electrical panel to a 200 amp service and add a few outlets around the house. From the beginning, their open communication with us and willingness to understand our needs without trying to upsell us was very reassuring. We had received other bids that had many hidden costs, but Ryan Electric's proposal was clear and straightforward, laying out exactly what to expect, which really helped us feel comfortable with hiring them. Their pricing was also very reasonable and didn't require any extra effort on my part to obtain permits or find someone else to complete the stucco repair, which can be daunting to someone who doesn't have a clue about the process. Through a few weather-related delays, Kris and Robert kept us updated on our expected installation schedule and made sure that we knew what to expect. Installation was very smooth and they took the time to answer all of our questions and made sure that our home was clean and returned to order after they were done! Even after installation, they were great at keeping us informed about the inspection process and stucco repair, which really made the entire process go as smoothly as possible. I highly recommend them! read more

Not sure why this place has 5 stars. Initially when I first requested the service I got a response right away got an electrician in the next day (Tuesday). The person went through the house and said he would get me a quote by the end of the day. When I didn't hear back on the quote I followed Wednesday, Thursday, Friday no response. Finally I ended up sending a message on yelp where I was told the electrician might have been in field and couldn't answer. I responded with "I have tried several times and haven't gotten a response" to which the response was "he has Covid but I will be sure to get you a quote today." Seems contradictory. I never received a quote and no communication on why I haven't or when I will get it. Will not be using this service. read more

Robert and the team at Ryan Electric are ELECTRIFYING! My husband and I are so over the moon with choosing Ryan Electric to upgrade our electrical panel and install our electric car charger. Professional & Honest: Robert is professional and personable and arrived early for both the first visit (free estimate) and on the day of the job. He is very transparent and honest with his pricing. No gimmicks or tricks. Top quality work with fair pricing. (Trust me, we interviewed three other electric companies and Robert/Ryan Electric always gave us good vibes and made us feel at ease.) High-quality Work & Excellent Customer Service: They use top quality materials and have great workmanship, camaraderie, and customer service. Kris is a gem and helped us with scheduling the appointments and answered all our questions. Prior to the actual work day, Robert would update us on his status of gathering permits and handled any issues that arose. We appreciate his attention to detail, hard work ethic, and care he put into our home. Bonus: They are so thoughtful and considerate to cover the panel area with plastic to protect from the upcoming rainy weather as we waited for the city inspector to arrive. Also, he is so kind to lend us his extension cord! (We just returned it to the office.) Seriously, we'd want them as our neighbors! Robert, Kris, and the team at Ryan Electric are such wonderful individuals. We highly recommend them to our friends, families, and whoever is looking to get electrical work done. read more

Robert from Ryan Electric was contacted for an issue with the replacement of my electrical panel. He responded to my request and came out and gave me a great quote. The city inspector complimented their work as well. Any future electrical issues I will contact Ryan Electric. read more

We had an electrical outlet go out at our facility. Called them up and they were able to have Robert come out the same day. Great service, reliable work and quick results. Will use him again. Thanks! read more

Originally we were scheduled to have the electrician come by to see what's wrong with our bathroom and closet lights couple weeks out. Due to the positive reviews (especially how there were so many reviews about their honesty), we decided to wait. Then much to our surprise, the electrician was able to arrive earlier than the scheduled date! We were ecstatic! And the electrician was able to solve the issue the same day! We finally have light in our master bathroom and closet! Would totally hire Ryan Electric again for any future electrical issues! read more

This was the second time I've used Ryan electric. I called for what we thought was a single issue but once the troubleshooting started we found several problems, all of which Mr. Ryan was able to fix without charging an arm and a leg. I hired Ryan electric recently to do a small electrical job inside the house. Robert Ryan was working at one of our neighbors house and stopped by as I had contacted them. After explaining he said he could finish it immediately before his day ends and after agreeing, he completed the job professionally. I was able to recollect because of friendly nature, that we had worked with Robert in the past to get an estimate. As he completed the job, we discussed another need that we need to get done in November and he gave me a verbal quote. Will plan to reach out to him for the next project and plan to use him for our electrical needs going forward. Glad we found a great electrician that cares about his customers. read more

I recently had my electrical panel upgraded from 60 amps to 100 amps by Ryan Electric. Robert came out with his crew and finished the job in 1 day. They did excellent work. Robert kept me informed step by step of what he would be doing that day. He redid my electrical outlet in the patio free of charge which I appreciated. At the end of the day , I had a list of questions that I had written down to ask Robert as I am recently widowed and not real familiar with electrical "stuff". Robert patiently answered all my questions. Also Kris in the office was very friendly and knowledgeable. She was very good about communicating when the inspector would come out and what to expect. And lastly, there was Zach, the "stucco" guy who finished up the stucco surrounding the electrical panel. He did a great job. I think one thing I really liked about Ryan Electrical was their integrity. I felt like I could trust them. I would definitely recommend this company to my family and friends! read more

I have had them out previously to do work so this time when lights were dimming throughout my house every time I turned something on, I gave a call. I was disappointed that they didn't have any appointments right away, but I am so grateful to the woman who kept me on the phone. She asked me several questions and suggested that I call SoCal Edison to see if it was an issue with the service lines. Edison was able to come out the same evening and diagnosed the problem as squirrels having chewed through some of the lines. They replaced them right away, no cost to me. Thank you so much to the wonderful woman who answers the phone at Ryan Electric. read more

Getting solar panels installed and had Ryan Electric look at our main panel. He was prompt in my request for an appt and he came by my house the next day. He was on time, gave me great advice, and gave me a competitive quote for a main panel upgrade. Mr. Ryan installed a Tesla wall connector for me at an extremely good price ($300) which was by far the best quote that I received. The quotes went as high as $800. Mr. Ryan installed a 60 amp breaker and ran #6 wire to the wall connector. I know it was installed correctly because my Tesla is charging at 45 miles an hour. I highly recommend him if you're considering a Tesla wall connector or a 240V outlet to charge your electric vehicle. I found Robert working in a neighbor's house and his truck was clearly a electrician's - NEAT AND ORGANIZED he came recommended and handed me his business card that read "The honest Electrician"! So I hired him, as he was reasonable vs the outrageous quotes I received from two others. Yes, he was fast (City Inspections were not)! Experienced and pleasant to work with he and his sidekicks were fun, clean, and nice people! Family run and his wife runs the logistics and phones - better than excellent was she! He is admittedly picky what areas he serves, but he can do that -with his age and experience, he deserves it! read more
