From start to finish, they were professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. They took the time to explain the scope of work, answered all of my questions, and made sure everything was completed safely and efficiently. Their attention to detail and quality workmanship were evident throughout the project. They arrived on time, kept the work area clean, and demonstrated excellent customer service the entire time. I highly recommend Andrew and Julian to anyone looking for reliable and skilled electrical professionals. Left a message over the holidays and they got back to me the next business day to schedule a visit. During the visit Robert was able to see what was described to him over the phone, checked my fuse box, confirmed that the work is possible and provided a quote that is satisfactory. I asked if he can perform the work then and there which he is able to accommodate the request. About an hour later the work is completed and he showed me what was done and provided me information such as what switch he connected to. No drywall repair or paint was needed. Would hire again for anything electrical.

I'm very meticulous and like things done the right way, so I interviewed few electricians. None of them gave me the confidence I needed, until I contacted and met Chris. From the start, he answered all my questions patiently and thoroughly, explaining exactly how he would handle the project. I could tell immediately that he takes pride in doing things correctly and to code. Although I had to wait for him to fit my project into his schedule, it was absolutely worth it. Once they realized the cables wouldn't reach and panel needed to be moved down they had me pay the $285 for service fee and schedule another day for the work of panel move down. That $285 I applied once the work is done. They seem to be very professional and knowledged, I ended up going with another company that was willing to do the grounding exactly as the permit requested rather than having them come out again if the permit was rejected again. That's the part that made me go with a different electrician.

Nick was the first to respond within minutes...at 8 o'clock at night! We FaceTimed him (after seeing all of his five star Yelp reviews) to show him our problem, and he gave immediate advice, which we followed. He said he would be out first thing in the morning. He was! We had to replace a few circuits that were fried and decided to do a full breaker box maintenance (to prevent this from happening again) because it probably hadn't been serviced...ever...in 25 years. Nick went far over and above expectations. He threw in upgrading a garage outlet while he was here and put in a whole house surge protector at a very discounted rate since we went with the full breaker box maintenance package. Our breaker box now looks and works like it is brand new. His work comes with a two year warranty! Nick was extremely personable and honest. I added him to my contacts because we will be contacting him with any future electrical issues. In short, there is a reason for all of the five star reviews, you will rate him with 5 stars as well when call him for service, I guarantee it!

I called All City Plumbing, Air and Electrical because I had diagnosed that my furnace's blower…read moremotor and capacitor needed to be replaced. Jonathan came out and confirmed that that was indeed true. Everything seemed to be going well. Jonathan was very friendly and polite. When it came time for the estimate, he told me it was going to be just under $3,000. That seemed like quite a lot to me for just changing out a blower motor and a capacitor. He also told me that my Rheem furnace couldn't take just any old blower motor and he had to order one special. He said that his company doesn't deal with Rheem because their parts are hard to get. I reluctantly agreed to the repair, which he said would probably take place the next day. Later, he called and said the part wasn't going to arrive for a whole week. This was during one of the hottest weeks of the year in Southern California and I certainly didn't want to be without air conditioning, which runs through my furnace and needs the blower motor. I asked him what my other options were. He told me the only other option I had was to get a whole new system. He explained that he could install the system in only 2 days time or I could wait a whole week and have him repair the blower motor. He also mentioned a 10 year warranty with 1 or 2 years of service from his company. I asked him about the brand and quality of the Furnace that he intended on selling me, which was going to be almost $8,000. He told me it was better than my current system brand and I asked to get it in writing so I could do some research. After not receiving anything in writing I called his company and requested the same thing from them. Shortly after the conversation with his company I received an email specifying the make and model of the new furnace. I researched online and discovered a few interesting things. Number one, Jonathan had lied to me about Rheem parts. I found out from my online research that Reem takes Universal parts and I would not have had to wait until the next week to receive a blower motor that would fit. I also discovered that blower motors and capacitors cost nowhere near $3,000 to install. And finally, the brand of the new furnace that was recommended by Jonathan was nowhere near the quality of the Rheem furnace that I already owned. I canceled the job immediately with the company and again with Jonathan when he called me to find out what was going on. I am still waiting for my refund on the deposit! My contractor friend and I went to an HVAC store and purchased a universal blower motor and capacitor for $180... and installed it ourselves in a couple hours. The system is working perfectly. I don't recommend this business at all. I'm completely confused on why they have such a good rating on Yelp, which is why I picked them to begin with. This was a clear case of trying to take advantage of an old lady in a wealthy neighborhood. Shame on them!! Update: I received a full refund of my deposit and the service fee was completely waived. I got a nice apology from the owner and a manager.

I've known the Holly family since I was a young boy in the early 1950's. The first generation owner of Brea Electric, the late Frank Holly, was a highly principled man who was far more interested in doing quality work and treating people with respect than he ever was at making boatloads of money. His son, Don, not only mastered the trade his father had taught him, he also learned from his father how to treat his customers. Frank's grandson and Don's son, Richard, now the owner of the company, had the opportunity to learn not just from his father but also from his grandfather. All the training he received from them over those many years has without a doubt made Brea Electric a better company than it's ever been. Richard and his staff have consistently gone above and beyond to accommodate their customers' needs. Over the past 18 months, Brea Electric has installed a chandelier in our dining room, has replaced all of our plugs and light switches, and has upgraded the power panel in our 50-year-old house. In each instance, Richard stopped by afterwards to make sure everything was working properly and to see if we were pleased with the work his staff had performed. In each instance we were beyond pleased. You won't go wrong choosing Brea Electric to satisfy your electrical needs, be that residential, commercial, or industrial. Outstanding! I have already recommended Brea Electric to probably a dozen people, and posted my great experience on Facebook. I had no clue who to call when I needed electrical repairs. I literally based my decision on the great reviews they have on Yelp. I couldn't have been happier. I've told people to mark this company down for future reference. One person even said they had heard great things. I confirmed as much. My home is over 40 years old. I've lived there for nearly 20 years. Things are wearing out, and repairs are hard on the budget. I HATE having people working in my home. Often, they don't respect the home or my time and comfort level. This was one of the best home repair experiences I have ever had. First of all, they were on time. In fact, they were a bit early. I LOVE that. I HATE waiting for people to show up. I have dogs. They get freaked out. Brea Electric was wonderful! Further, the pricing was less than I expected. Sometimes, you get the feeling that companies are looking for any reason to up the bill. This was just the opposite. They had to make a number of replacements. I was only charged the cost for two, and only for one hour of service. When a company treats its customers with respect and courtesy, they can earn your business for life. I will need more done in the future. They've got my business. I meant to leave this review last week but keep forgetting, so I'm finally remembering to post it now! I was recommended by a friend to call Brea Electric. I called and spoke with a really kind, gentle, and welcoming woman on the phone. From the moment she answered, she spoke so highly of Brea Electric Company and genuinely seemed proud and grateful to work there. That immediately gave me confidence that I had called the right company. I needed to have some electrical done, and I wasn't even sure I was explaining my issue correctly. She was incredibly patient, listened carefully, answered my questions, and helped me schedule the work without making me feel rushed. They had a busy schedule but was able to get me in their schedule right away and complete the job. Now I know why they always have a busy schedule! I truly believe the first interaction says a lot about a company. When the person answering the phone is happy to help and genuinely takes pride in where they work, it reflects the company's culture. The technician that did the work was outstanding, too! I believe his name was Andrew. Based on my experience, I would absolutely recommend Brea Electric Company and will have this company on my speed dial. Very happy with Brea Electric and accommodating my work schedule to inspect my circuit breaker box. My insurance company was going to cancel our homeowner's insurance policy because they said our circuit breaker box had two many breakers/fuses. They said if I could get a licensed electrician to come out and inspect the box and write a letter stating it was safe, the policy wouldn't be cancelled. Brea Electric came out promptly and did a thorough inspection of the box and determined it was not overloaded at all, but was actually at 30% of capacity. They removed a quad box of unused breakers and labeled two others as being spares. Brea Electric then wrote a letter for me to submit to my insurance company stating the circuit breaker box was sound. And viola! After contacting a few other companies and having them quote over the phone I contacted Rich at Brea Electric. Rich took the time to come out and look over the scope of work and give some insight to what he felt would be the best options. I knew of Brea Electric's solid reputation on the commercial side of the business, so I was not sure if our smaller residential job would interest them or perhaps it would be too expensive. Our experience was fantastic! The crew was punctual and extremely professional; couteous and clean and quality work all around. I was most impressed when we received a follow-up call after the job was finished from the owner himself, Richard Holly, who wanted to ensure the job went well and met our standards. This owner generated response is a complete lie, so apparently this guy and his son are dishonest on top of being so arrogant and self-absorbed that something simple like "I'll be in a meeting from 8:30 to 9:30" doesn't matter and they think you should just drop everything when they call in the middle of your meeting. These guys are BULLIES to their potential customers and they think they can treat you like garbage because of insurance in CA. For over twenty years, if there is a problem with my electrical circuits I call on Brea Electric. Recently, I sent an email to Richard about outlets not working in my home and he sent out Danny to help diagnose the problem. Danny got to the source of the problem through persistence and pride in doing the job right. There was a short in one of my home's circuits and they had the know how on how to make it work. Some needed electrical work prompted my husband and I to call a number we saw on TV. An electrician came out, gave us a staggering estimate, and required a fee for his visit if we did not accept it. The next day I contacted Brea Electric and talked Laurie. She was friendly and went out of her way to be helpful. I found out Brea Electric does not charge for an estimate.
