Requested a Tesla charger installation and stated explicitly that the circuit board is outside in the back of the garage. I got quoted originally $295. When the electrician came over, he was 'surprised' that I wanted the actual charger in the front by the garage door. Where else would I want to have it!? After measuring the quoted price went up to $1,095! 4 times the original quote! Before you schedule any service triple check everything and reconfirm what the quote includes. I confirmed the quote and the work to be done (install power and bring it from here to here with a detailed picture). I sent detailed pictures/explanations showing what we need and the other electrician acted surprised right before install, then tried to get my other contractors to trench for him. It felt like the owner is just taking as many jobs as possible. The power they supplied works, but conduit is crooked/ loose. Very little communication prior to scheduled time. Didn't know what to tell other contractors when I was trying to communicate with JPS. No reply when I reached out after. Ivan is a hard worker and I liked him though. Edit: I added pictures of your work. Visibly crooked and loose conduit. Conduit looks like it was cut too short and instead of buying another section you guys just bent it crooked. I had mixed feelings about posting this review because you did a good job a few years ago installing my ring cameras, but after getting no response after the project (text and yelp messaging) it seems like this was the only way to get your attention. We needed to make sure everything was ok before we approached the landlord who did a lot of DIY work on his old 1950s house. A blowdryer of ours caused loss of power to several outlets, and then shortly after, an outlet in the kitchen stopped working and made the stove inoperable. I did not actually use JPS, but I wanted to give them a shout out, because of their wonderful responsiveness, honesty and integrity. Especially Chris, who answered my Yelp request very quickly during the horrible heat wave we had yesterday (Sept 9th). My 85-year-old mom lost half of her electricity, including her A/C, and she was having kittens, flipping breakers and trying to restart everything. I put out a request on Yelp and got some responses, but JPS and Chris were the only ones to call me in a timely manner, AND Chris asked important questions/gave important information that pointed to the problem being SCE and not my mom's electrical panel, etc...
