These guys are legit professionals, they mean what they say and say what they do. They installed 12 recessed lightings in 3 rooms for me in two hours. Fair price and great work. Thank you Alex read more

Recessed lighting installation. Competitive prices, very responsive, job completed within a few hours. Overall happy with the service.

I contacted Lighting and Electrical to have installed a 240 v outlet installed for a new microwave & oven in the kitchen. I already had a 240 v outlet and needed another dedicated line brought over for new appliances. Several other contractors did not return my calls or inquiries; however, Hector did and we had both a telephone call as well as exchange of pictures so he could get a better idea of the project. He was able to come over to the property to see the job and provided a quote the next day. The quote was fairly priced and the work quality was excellent. The quote provided an option for 240v wire or a 120 v wire (I could downgrade my microwave if needed). I went with the 240 v option and Lighting and Electrical were out the next day to install. Lighting and Electrical protected the entire work environment then cut, installed, patched and textured the drywall! Usually with electricians, they cut holes and you are stuck patching and repairing the mess they have made. Several of their electrical installers were drywallers (so the quality of drywall work was professional grade). I am attaching a few pictures of the drywall patch (I still need to paint and will do that tomorrow but it is easier to see the quality of their patch without the paint). When they left the premises was clean and they had labeled my electrical panel. Very friendly employees. I don't usually write this much for a review (or leave many reviews) but this is one I just had to write one for. Excellent work and I will use them again 100%. I wish I would have known about them before and used them on other jobs. read more

Great service, were quick to get the job done. Very professional and clean. Definitely gonna keep working with Lighting and Electical

I have used their services to install fans and fix couple of electrical points like my electric vehicle charger and mount wifi cameras around the house, they were on time and everything was managed through text, Alex was professional and followed up to make sure the crew arrived here and finish the job. Crew members were professional and did a fantastic job. Highly recommended. read more

I requested for multiple estimates to re-do our old pushmatic panel for a new 200 amp electrical panel. Hector was quick to provide a quote and schedule work/inspection with the city. They did a great job on the work and the guys that worked here at the house were friendly and easy to work with. I would highly recommend them. Thanks again! read more

They got here same day, they had the part on their truck, they fixed it pronto. Hats off to Junior and his crew.

After reading the reviews, I called Lighting and Electrical for a dedicated 240V line for my new steam oven. Hector asked us to send some pictures for him to give us a quote for the project. Within the same day, he was able to give us a reasonable quote quickly, and he was able to start our work the next day. Alexis and Victor from Lighting and Electrical arrived at the scheduled time and explained the process and ideas on how he was going to get the work done. They protected the entire work areas and work very efficiently. They tried their best to cut as less drywall as possible to minimize the damage. They ALSO help us to patch and texture the drywalls too!!! Their drywall patching quality was professional grade because they have a guy who used to be a drywall professional. We ended up asking them to fix some additional drywalls damaged from the previous plumbing work. They cleaned up after their work was done. They are very friendly and professional. I will use them again. I highly recommend Lighting and Electrical to anyone!!! read more

This company is honest and trustworthy. They did an incredible job in getting my lights downstairs. They found and diagnosed the electrical problem in 1.5 hours and my electric was working again. Alex just finished installing 2 new electrical outlets for our new bidets. The work was done in timely manner and it was done so creatively. He was able to install them without cutting into our drywall and cleaned up afterwards. The price was very fair for the quality of work. Highly recommend! read more

They helped me out with some floodlights and later an outlet behind the fridge. Good crew.

This was a great experience because this service provider was on-time, skilled and they put down floor protection and cleaned up when the work was done. price was reasonable and communication was great. They replied to the Yelp app in an hour or less. read more

Awful installation. The lights were loose, leaning forward, and moved because they weren't installed properly. It looked rushed--done the easiest way for a quick buck, not how the manufacturer recommended. The same people who messed it up made us pay extra just to have the fixtures plumb with the wall. The boss canceled on us three times, lying about waiting on a part. When I finally called to complain about the extra charges, Hector mocked us and said he's not there to make it look good, just to put it up--then ended the call abruptly. Completely unprofessional. Avoid this company EDIT: We told him about the issue right away when they came back to fix it. His workers--which were his father and brother--even said that the lights were meant to be installed against the wall so they could be secured properly. He even admitted that himself, but kept saying he didn't care how it looked as long as it was up to code. That's ridiculous--why would I want to hire someone who openly admits he's not concerned with how the final result looks? read more

Hector and Sergio were very responsive. Explained the why's. Work was clean. Nice respectful team.

I had four canless lights installed in a bedroom on first floor with a kasa smart dimmer switch. I also had them install ceiling fan box, smart ceiling fan, expanded dual gang box to three gang, and install kasa smart switch. Sergio and Jose were very professional in their work. Plastic tarp was laid down from entryway to the work areas. They also made sure to mark the areas for fixtures and discussed if it met my approval for work to begin. Overall, the service was great because they did not need to cut as many wholes to run the switch leg. Sergio sparingly cut as needed and they were able to also patch/repair/texturize the holes after the job was done. The job took a bit longer due to it being on the first floor but I would recommend their service to anyone. They demonstrated their expertise with wiring the switch legs, cleanup, and repair of the drywall holes. If anyone is looking for an all inclusive install lights with drywall repair, look no further and reach out to lighting and electrical for your projects. read more

Excellent work and upfront about pricing. They were super professional and were able to handle all of our requests

Alex and his team came to my house today to install 4 wafer lights and dimmer switches in each of four rooms in my house. They had great reviews on line and a very fair price quote, so I hired them. They were a little late arriving, I presume because of a delay on another job, but they kept me updated with text messages . When they arrived they did an excellent job of covering up everything in the rooms to keep everything clean. They clearly explained to me how they would proceed and marked where they were going to place the lights , and got clearance from me before drilling any holes. They had a three, then four man team working and quickly got the job done. I believe they had a fifth man come and patch some small holes in the drywall they had to make to run the wires. Overall I am quite pleased with the quality of the work and the fair price. They were all friendly and skilled in their work. I really like the look of the new lights, especially the night light mode. read more

Do not use this company! It's bad business with owner Hector. I told him to put up smart lights for the whole house for 7hrs of the work we agreed. Ended his 3 men crew could only put up the front house afterall and Hector said the estimate was for the front only? For 8 total hrs? He must be out of his mind for someone to pay him 175/hr work, $1400 to install the light. The sad part was his installer, who was his brother, knew we were doing for whole house from the beginning and later changed his story by saying the job was for the front only per Hector. Im warning everyone here! read more

I used their service two years ago, and I asked them Again for installing two new outlets and one outlet that stopped working. Even tho they were more expensive than other places, which gave me estimates, I still wanted to use them. They came two hours late. Our whole plan for today had to change. They were good at what they do. But even two years ago when I hired them, they were late for hours and still they were late today. They didn't call me or text me that they would be late. I had to call them twice. Communication with the owner and workers are not great i feel like. Also if you wanna use credit card other than paying in cash, they charge you 3% more. I don't understand when you have business and charge customer for the credit card fee to them. Then you should only receive cash.. read more

No wonder they got 4.9 Star for 234 reviews!!! (At the time of this posting) If you need recessed lights, look no further, and stop your research, as I already did that. Hector is amazing. I contacted him back in February 2024 when I was shopping around for installing 38 recessed lights (6-inch with cans). He responded promptly and gave me the quote for 36 lights at that time. I was still in the discovery process, I'm still shopping around at that time, so I told him, I will let him know if I'm ready to move forward for this project with him. Other people are slow in response, some took over a week, with the back and forth, it's kind of tiring. (mostly say they are busy, etc.) while in the process of getting other quotes, something came up and I had to postpone this project. When I'm continuing this project after the postponement, I got more quotes, and in total I got 6 other quotes, I had other companies that gave me higher price than Hector. I also had other companies that gave me lower price than Hector, however considering the time it took to communicate with them, I decided to give Hector a chance (given how promptly he communicated with me). That being said, I say Hector's price is reasonable and competitive. I contacted Hector again in late June 2024, and this time I asked him to come for a site visit (same as I asked the other guys ~ I also asked them to do a site visit). I don't want a surprise, that when it's time to do it and they come, then say, oh extra charge for this and that... Hector responded promptly as he did, he came to my house, (I added 2 more lights to bring total of 38) and he confirmed the cost (I also asked him to do additional thing outside the recessed lights) He answered my additional question for confirmation afterwards via text promptly too. Comes the day of installation, Sergio is assigned to come to do my project. Total of 6 people came, and they lay down plastics everywhere before they started. They pin where the lights would be and confirmed with me, BEFORE they start drilling. I also asked Sergio an additional drywall patch texture, and to change the trim of the existing high ceiling recessed light (old style that is not fully covered). All new 38 recessed lights, drywall patch texture, high ceiling trim replacement and bath fan are DONE that same day! Sergio and the team came at 09:23AM, and they started at 09:30AM prompt as scheduled, done by 04:30PM including the clean-up. Efficient, Professional and Amazing Result! Their light is one for all of a kind, you can change the light temperature to 3000k, 4000k, 5000k as you wish, while you can also change the light Wattage (obviously higher wattage, brighter the light) I want to thank Hector for his flawless communication with me. I want to thank the crew lead Sergio, and the other 5 crews: Jose (Sergio's father), Aguztin, Victor, Alex, and Alexis They KNOW what they are doing. Thank you Lighting and Electrical! read more

AWESOME SERVICE! We called several electricians to obtain quotes for moving a chandelier junction box and re-routing our Cox coaxial cable from the garage to inside of a hallway closet to move our router to a more central location. All of the quotes were all over the place but Lighting and Electrical gave a comprehensive and fair quote. The crew arrived at the scheduled day and time. Before beginning the work, the lead gentleman discussed the scope and approach. Then he and his crew took the time to prep the area by laying down plastic covering over any area that may have be subject to debris, dust, dirt, etc. The crew worked methodically and carefully, asking us along the way if we were good with their approach (i.e., outlet location, chandelier height, etc.). I was impressed with all of them as they were friendly and professional. I was even more impressed with the care they took in making sure the chandelier junction box location was centered correctly in our dining room as well as over our dining table as we requested. Bravo! When they were finished, they spent almost the same amount of time cleaning as they did with their setup, trying to make the area appear as before. Lighting and Electrical has definitely won us over as loyal customers and we will be sure to contact them again in the future for any electrical needs we might have. THANK YOU L&E!!! read more

I recently had lighting and electrical work done in our home by a fantastic team--Sergio and his crew, -Victor, Jose, Kevin, and Jr. They installed a cascading chandelier and, to accommodate it, carefully moved the ceiling outlet. They also reoriented a large chandelier, turning it 90 degrees and repositioning it so it's perfectly centered over the dining table. Throughout the project, they were prompt, professional, and friendly, always taking great care with our furniture and belongings. They left the workspace exceptionally clean, which we greatly appreciated.
