My American Standard thin line A/C system was 5-yrs old today. It has been shutting off on its own and has been slow to start for a couple weeks. The company who did the install is no longer in business, so I researched repair companies in Orange County. I found that Air Solutions had good reviews so I scheduled an appointment with the owner, Caesar. He checked my system and found that the condensate line exiting the air handler was not at a sufficient pitch, so the water was backing up and raising the float switch, turning off the unit. It was a very simple, straightforward fix, and now it's working properly. I had some anxiety about finding a good technician, but no worries now, I have Caesar. I highly recommend this honest, hard working man. His price structure was very reasonable and we'll certainly have him back again. read more

Heater was operating erratically: cycling on/off or not coming on at all. Called Air Solutions and spoke to Caesar. Told me he would be there in 2 hours, and then showed up exactly on time. His initial diagnosis was a faulty thermostat. He ran a series of diagnostic tests that verified that indeed it was the thermostat. We discussed options for a new one which he installed and took the time to show me exactly how it worked. The guy is a pro. It's the middle of summer and our AC wasn't working. Cesar arrived within a day, and got to work. He's methodical and figured out the issue pretty quickly. During the heat wave on 09/05 and 09/06/20, our AC broke down and the house was a furnace. I called a few expecting no response being a Sunday. Caesar called me back promptly and also followed up a little later to check if we still needed his services. He and his assistant showed up within an hour, very courteous, polite and got on the job right away. The fuses outside were blown which he replaced, he cleaned the AC unit and then took the time to check each room and made recommendations for proper cooling. This review is for Caesar at Air Solutions. Professional, fair, and experienced. I would definitely call Caesar again if I need an A/C repair job in the future! Bring your checkbook, they don't accept credit cards. This guy is absolutely AMAZING. I called two A/C repair companies before I was able to get my A/C fixed. First I called AmTech. The repairman there discovered there was a short circuit that apparently fried a couple of the components. He replaced the components, but couldn't find the short circuit. He knew it was somewhere between my fan in the unit and the compressor on the rooftop (that cools the air), but couldn't figure it out, so he disconnected the fan from the air compressor and told me "Sorrynotsorry, you need to call somebody else to trace the short circuit" and THEN charged me for replacing the components after he had already done the work! Then I called Thompson. The repairman searched the wiring for a couple of hours before discovering that the A/C unit I have is not the type that his company usually services. He left without charging me, after which I found out that the wires were not put back in their original place, so the fan wasn't working anymore. Lastly I called Air Solutions. I explained that my A/C is a Hydronic A/C unit, and asked them to send somebody who knew how to fix those types of Air Conditioners. Caesar came, and after I explained the situation he gave me a quote. He wouldn't start repairing until after I agreed to the quote. Then he saw that the last repairman left the wiring a mess! Wire nuts were missing, and the air conditioning control unit on the wall was actually physically disconnected from the fan in my unit! Caesar then told me a new quote, and told me he wouldn't start repairing until after I agreed to the new quote because of the extra work that he needed to do. It was a fair price, so I agreed, and he PAINSTAKINGLY traced each circuit from the power source and reconnected the wires appropriately, which was a monumental task. Then he carefully traced the short circuit to a small part on the rooftop air compressor that rusted over and needed to be replaced. Air Solutions is definitely one step above the other, highly rated, A/C companies. read more

Caesar is phenomenal. Southern CA was experiencing a heat wave this past weekend during Labor Day. Every company I called was backed up. However one of the 5 star companies recommended I call Caesar. I called him at 730 am. He immediately responded and fit us into his busy schedule. He called and assured us he'd take care of us that day. Unfortunately our AC unit had to be replaced. Being that it was Labor Day, we couldn't get a new unit immediately. Caesar made sure he called the AC companies immediately when they opened and recommended the better brand for us. He explained the pricing would be the same so he wanted us to go with a better quality brand. He came in the morning when he got the new unit for us and tirelessly worked in it ALL day in the heat. At the end, he double checked the temperatures and then threw in new filters for our system. WE called Ceasar on a very hot Thursday and he could not get the part (circuit board) until Monday, he said. We called again on Monday after not hearing from him and he said he's be out later that day. Never showed. On Tuesday, after about 4 calls and promises that "he would be right over" he finally showed up at 12:45 pm. I must admit he did a good job, when he finally got here, but my objection is that he told us over and over that "he'd be right over and was on his way". Because of this, I missed out on doing many errands that needed to be done because I was stuck in the house waiting for 3 days on promises that weren't kept. Had he told us from the start that he wouldn't be here, we would have been much more satisfied customers. read more

Yesterday, I have called Air Solutions company to set up an appointment for them to come and fix the air conditioning in my business building. They scheduled me for the same day services. I was waiting and waiting, nobody showed up. I called a few times. I was told that they are backed up but very soon they will come to my place to fix the Ac. I waited again. no show up. I called to see what is going on. I was promised that technician will be here before 5:00 PM (I have told them that business will be closed at 5). But to my surprise, that wasn't the case. I called and they were able to come out that day! I couldn't believe they came out on a Sunday at 7:00 pm. While southern CA is experiencing a heat wave this weekend, my AC stopped working on Friday night. I was first referred to a 5 stars reviewed AC repair company by a friend, and I was told that my machine is too old, compressor is broken and won't able to find the parts to replace it, therefore, I'll need to replace the entire AC unit, which is going to cost me thousands of dollars. That company couldn't even do anything, and I was left in drenching sweat in a 82 degree home. My physical trainer referred Caesar to me to get a second opinion, I was lucky that he ccould even make it to my house to do the job because I've been calling around and no one was available. Caesar is phenomenal, with his educational training and 18 years of job experiences, he targeted the problem immediately and replaced the capacitor. Abracadabra, my AC starts to run. All of the sudden Southern California started to get super cold. I turned on my heater and it didn't work. I can't remember the last time I used it. lol. I called a few places but couldn't get a next day appointment. Then, I received a referral from another company. So, I called Caesar, he was quite busy with his schedule already but asked me about my issue anyway. After hearing me over the phone, he said he would come by for a quick look. Caesar is a good man. My AC was out for 2 days during the hottest week (97 degrees average)and I called him around 4:30 pm. He came to my house to check around 6 pm and the issue was identified. He came back early next day with a part, Capacitor and replaced it. My house is 10 years old, so it's about time to be replaced. Air Solutions is a family run business that gets the problem fixed. It's been hot and my air conditioning unit in Tustin was not working. I needed someone fast and contacted another co. It was going to be a few days and they wanted a credit card up front. I tried Air Solutions and they scheduled me for the next day. Then they called back and said they could do it the same day (today). Ceasar went out found the problem and let me know. I told him to go ahead and fix it. He did and it worked. I have dealt with many repair co's and I usually run into issues, either they are late, they don't fix the issue, or they start changing out parts racking up the bill trying to fix the problem.
