We used them for our crown moldings and doors a few years back in a few projects. Excellent service, selection and quality.

I have to say Ganahl has quality materials but they are just way off the mark on prices! Very disappointing, wont be going back!

I've always been a fan of Ace Hardware, preferring it over the big chains as their stores are…read moresmaller and things are easier to find. Unfortunately over the past few years two locations I frequented closed down. I just recently found out this location is not far from me so went to check it out. I was surprised how well stocked it was. It seemed they had just about everything a do-it-yourselfer would want . Electrical, nuts & bolts, tools, automotive, cleaning supplies, plumbing, gardening, etc. I was greeted by an employee when I walked in and was asked by another if I needed help. I was primarily just scoping out the place and making mental note of their stock but then remembered I needed a few things. I don't think I ever leave a hardware store without getting something. I purchased a couple items for my barbecue grill - they have a lot of supplies for grilling including the grills. This is definitely a solid hardware store whose size isn't overwhelming and yet you'll likely find whatever you are looking for.

I visited this store for the first time on 6/27/2026 and unfortunately had a very disappointing…read moreexperience. When I walked in, two employees were standing at the registers talking with each other. Neither acknowledged me, paused their conversation, or even looked up as I entered. I brushed it off at first, assuming they were simply caught up in what they were discussing. I couldn't find the door handle I needed, so I approached one of the employees at the register. He said he would call someone to meet me in the aisle. I returned to the aisle and an older employee walked right past me, made eye contact, and said nothing. When he came back, he looked at me and said only, "Yeah?" in a dismissive tone. I showed him the handle and asked whether it was available or could be ordered. He replied, "It's a special handle, we don't have it," and immediately walked away. The lack of basic courtesy, acknowledgment, or willingness to help was surprising and disheartening. I left feeling unwelcome and judged. I don't like assuming the worst, but the way I was treated -- while wearing a bright pink polo and presenting as an openly gay man -- felt pointed. Whether intentional or not, it was hurtful. Customers deserve respect, professionalism, and at minimum, simple acknowledgment. This experience fell far short of that. Shame on them for allowing this kind of treatment.

For my limited requirements (general house handyman stuff) this fits perfectly. Unlike the big box stores, there is always someone available. When needed they will find the right person (expert) to give me the information I need. Unlike the big box stores the person actually knows what they are talking about. The people who work here are extremely knowledgeable. Thanks to them: 1. My drains remain clear (even in my daughters shower) 2. I have the right lightbulbs in each room (I got a 30 minute detailed lecture) 3. Anything hanging on my walls can handle the weight correctly. 4. My paint matches when I touch up. 5. My tool bag has the right tools in it. 6. I have the right tool bag. 7. My showers are free of lime, hardwater and rust 8. My car leather looks awesome. I could go on but you get the point. The selection is clearly smaller than some other stores. But I go here to get 'help' and not just to buy things. For someone like me this place is perfect.

I went in the other day just to find some tiny screws, and they have a huge selection-better than Home Depot, and you can get someone who actually knows what they're talking about to help you find some random screws that cost $0.26 cents each. Where do you get that kind of service nowadays? The shelves are packed with just about everything you need for any kind of small or medium project around the house. Hope you stay in business forever!

I find them to be a great option for people that are not handy types by nature. I learned some…read morebasics from my dad (son of a carpenter) who is good at fixing things and is a skilled amateur woodworker. I also like seeing their e-mail specials, coupons and freebies for making purchases. Recently I was contemplating whether "mechanics gloves" would work as full-finger weight training gloves in order to reduce the oils and sweat from my hands during workouts. A couple of years ago I put a lot of time, effort and expense into sanding and repainting my dumbbells with a nice forged pewter color. I would like to do more to preserve that. I tried the Harbor Freight HARDY brand "High-dexterity impact-resistant work gloves" that are a mechanics style with the rubber pads on top. I preferred the lower end thinner ones, but they were not very comfortable. I did notice the run a little small. I have very average-sized hands and normally wear a large (L), but those were tight with these, so I got the x-large (XL) with these Hardy's. The touchscreen compatible sort of kind of worked with the thumb and index finger but was not easy. Maybe the gloves need to be a snug fit? Maybe not? They do appear durable and are nice looking. I did an Internet search, and it appears you "may" be able to machine wash them. If I try that I will place them in firmer laundry zipper bag and wash them on GENTLE cycle in cold water. Then I would place them on a paper towel to air dry indoors. In the end, these were not a good fit for my needs as they were too bulky and thick. I will keep looking and maybe try another brand and smaller profile version of mechanics gloves. The staff here are always polite and efficient.
