Terrible service. I was told it would be 20-25 minutes to get me a quart of paint. I waited 25 minutes walked back in and waited another 15 minutes. When I asked " where is my paint" they say " someone must have taken it" weird because all orders are by name. I had to wait another 15 minutes on top of the 40 minutes I waited. So next time I have to wait an hour for a quart of paint better make it on the house. read more

This review is for the Laguna Hills branch of Dunn-Edwards Paint. I am impressed by how well they have adjusted to our new, germ-conscious reality. The store requires masks for all customers and has signs on the floor spaced 6 feet apart to show customers where to stand. The color swatches are by request only. I was confused during my first visit to this location because I missed the sign reading "swatches are by request". I thought, "How could a paint store not allow their customers access to the swatches?" During both visits, I was helped by Dianna who was knowledgable, friendly and patient. Turn around time for the paint samples was less than 10 minutes and they accept American Express. Quality paint, great service, and convenience. A+. read more

High quality paint at reasonable prices. Easy to shop pay and get out on your way. I did have drop off samples for color match, was told to allow one hour for process, I did cabe back and nothing was ready. When I arrived after an hour, they asked me to wait 30 minutes, luckily there is a MCD's in the sane parking lot, I had lunch and then when I returned one of the staff recognized me as I was driving up, he flagged me down and asked me to pop my truck he delivered the paint and there was a no contact delivery. read more

I don't care what anyone says... the paint at Dunn Edwards is far superior to anything the big box stores have. It goes on far smoother than cheaper paint and lasts much longer. I know this sounds like a commercial and I am a paid actor but I assure you I am not. Just a dork who tries to paint his house once in a while and have tried all sorts of paint. This stuff is just better. The DE store's have everything you need to paint a room and the prices are nearly the same. Not safe, be alert! Ladies be careful visiting this location on your own. If you're just going to pick up some free paper paint swatches to help you decide on a color there are usually painters looking for work hanging out in the parking lot. They will try to approach you and talk to you as you get into your car to leave. Make sure you carry pepper spray on your keychain just in case and lock your car door as soon as you get inside your vehicle. You can never be too safe. I was approached today while leaving and a man kept trying to talk to me. I walked faster and faster to my car, I didn't make eye contact with him and I quickly got in my car, locked the door, and started the engine. It wasn't until he heard me start my engine did he walk away. Like me deliberately ignoring him and walking faster towards my car wasn't indication enough for him to realize I wasn't interested in hiring him as a painter. Creepy persistent. read more

Why oh why do I continue to even try to buy paint here? I tried calling yesterday 3 separate times during the day, only to be quickly put on hold. All 3 times nobody came back to phone to help me after I finally gave up from holding 10 minutes all 3 times. Tried to call today, same thing...I tried twice. Finally I happened to be in the area at 4:30. I checked and they closed at 5pm...well....the old saying "it's 5 o'clock somewhere" cause yep, they were closed. I just visited this location to pick up tons of color samples for my house. I had about 20 colors that our Home Owner Association specified to choose from and when Clint offered me to help I was so happy. Becoz I have done this before and took me forever to find the samples last time and he explained to me why. Becoz I was picking up wrong color. It probably saves about my 30-45 min of my time. He did it in less than 7-8 min while he was also helping other customer!!! I recommend this location if you need to get paint. It is very important for any business ti have great employee like Clint. This is review is for their repair service. Do yourself a favor and use another company or location. Their excuses and incompetency are so bad I just had to end up laughing off the situation. Took my equipment for a warranty claim. More a month later I get the same excuses- blaming the manufacturer for the delay and it's always something along the line "we're still waiting for Graco to approve the repair." and "these type claims take about 4 weeks." And on two occasions they said if I wanted it sooner I can to pay out of pocket $350 for the repair (they'll refund the money once repair is approved). LOL When Graco intervened, the repair guy said it's going to take another 7-10 days for all the parts to arrive because some parts was ordered 6 days ago. This is another insult to your intelligence and false on so many level. First there's only one part needed (the pump) not several parts like they claimed. Second, I was told earlier that day (before Graco folks got involved) that nothing can be done until it's approved yet somehow they decided to order "parts" six days before that and after more than three weeks of holding on to my equipment. I had enough and took back my equipment back to deal with Graco directly. They gave my spray gun back completely disassembled. Graco overnighted me the replacement part. Took me one day to fix the spray gun. Thank you Graco! No thanks to a joke of a service center. You wasted my time and insulted my intelligence. read more

He referred me to the specialist interior design person who worked at another location that you had to make an appointment with. So I did it. She did not seem very interested in what I had to tell her. Like maybe I wasn't going to spend enough money? I don't know she was looking down her nose at me. Telling me that the paint she was suggesting was with all the homes in Newport did.I told her what I wanted and clearly did not listen to me. Anyhow, went back to get more samples and still no help. As they were closing, so I didn't have a lot of time. Running out of time with my painters. So now I am stuck with a paint that I hate. The paint itself seems to be good. What pisses me off and is the deciding factor why I will NOT return is that they rip you off! I used the yelp 50 percent off coupon and instead of charging me $45 which is clearly listed as the shelf price, the guy charged me $67. I asked him why it was almost $37 with the coupon, when I had bought the same exact paint last week for $22 with the coupon at the Cerritos store. He just rudely said "that's how much it is." I just had the worst customer service at this store. I walked in and nobody was at the counter, but three sales people were in the room behind the counter. After waiting for some time I walked over and asked if there was a bell I could ring to get some help. Their response was "there should be someone out there". Fast and speedy service. I was helping a friend update a room they were converting into a rental space. They had just a little bit of leftover original paint, but needed more to completely cover up all the numerous touch up spots. The original paint was over 20 years old, but was from Dunn-Edwards Paints, and there were 2 nearby. I brought the can in and they were able to match their paint in just a few minutes. When I asked about the price, it was a little steep for what I was expecting (I forgot it was also a custom color and a higher quality paint), but when I asked if they do military discounts....BAM! 50% off!
