Richard and the other guy with those ugly earrings are super unprofessional, almost yelling at clients all I hear is complaining about clients. Also I asked Richard if anyone else is available since they're occupied on phone lines, he looked at me with a mad face saying what ! I do not recommend this place! read more

We met with Carolina (Color Advisor) at this location. She was amazing. We were struggling with paint colors offered by our association. She helped to guide us through what we liked best while meeting the rules of the association. She consulted us on sheen and made to whole process simple. She followed up on a very timely basis with a deliverable to further help us. I highly recommend Carolina for support with your color choices. read more

Hugo is fantastic! We came in after having a very hard day with paint - he was super helpful and got us exactly what we needed. He was kind, walked us through everything, made recommendations, and even matched my paint samples ASAP. We could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you Hugo - you are fantastic! read more

Terrible service. I was told it would be 20-25 minutes to get me a quart of paint. I waited 25 minutes walked back in and waited another 15 minutes. When I asked " where is my paint" they say " someone must have taken it" weird because all orders are by name. I had to wait another 15 minutes on top of the 40 minutes I waited. So next time I have to wait an hour for a quart of paint better make it on the house. read more

Horrendous service & over priced poor quality paint. Was told had to wait 45 minutes to get a gallon of paint mixed. Only went there as customer was told it was decent paint. Popped along to my go to Sherwin Williams & was in & out in 5 minutes with better paint at half the price read more

Helpful services and support. I think Jessie is great! She gave me advice and encouragement to get my outside patio primed and painted. I'm thrilled with the results. read more

Nice store, clean and they are following the CDC recommendations and safety guidelines. We found what we were looking for and they do have high quality paint options, in my own personal experience better than Sherwin Williams. read more

This review is for the Laguna Hills branch of Dunn-Edwards Paint. I am impressed by how well they have adjusted to our new, germ-conscious reality. The store requires masks for all customers and has signs on the floor spaced 6 feet apart to show customers where to stand. The color swatches are by request only. I was confused during my first visit to this location because I missed the sign reading "swatches are by request". I thought, "How could a paint store not allow their customers access to the swatches?" During both visits, I was helped by Dianna who was knowledgable, friendly and patient. Turn around time for the paint samples was less than 10 minutes and they accept American Express. Quality paint, great service, and convenience. A+. read more

High quality paint at reasonable prices. Easy to shop pay and get out on your way. I did have drop off samples for color match, was told to allow one hour for process, I did cabe back and nothing was ready. When I arrived after an hour, they asked me to wait 30 minutes, luckily there is a MCD's in the sane parking lot, I had lunch and then when I returned one of the staff recognized me as I was driving up, he flagged me down and asked me to pop my truck he delivered the paint and there was a no contact delivery. read more

I don't care what anyone says... the paint at Dunn Edwards is far superior to anything the big box stores have. It goes on far smoother than cheaper paint and lasts much longer. I know this sounds like a commercial and I am a paid actor but I assure you I am not. Just a dork who tries to paint his house once in a while and have tried all sorts of paint. This stuff is just better. The DE store's have everything you need to paint a room and the prices are nearly the same. And best of all there are no forklifts beeping around you while you are shopping. read more

I stopped into Dunn-Edward's today with a long list of HOA approved paint colors. I was assisted by Carolina who was immensely helpful in organizing the list then showing me color schemes. Carolina was welcoming and very helpful. Thank you Carolina! read more

Not safe, be alert! Ladies be careful visiting this location on your own. If you're just going to pick up some free paper paint swatches to help you decide on a color there are usually painters looking for work hanging out in the parking lot. They will try to approach you and talk to you as you get into your car to leave. Make sure you carry pepper spray on your keychain just in case and lock your car door as soon as you get inside your vehicle. You can never be too safe. I was approached today while leaving and a man kept trying to talk to me. I walked faster and faster to my car, I didn't make eye contact with him and I quickly got in my car, locked the door, and started the engine. It wasn't until he heard me start my engine did he walk away. Like me deliberately ignoring him and walking faster towards my car wasn't indication enough for him to realize I wasn't interested in hiring him as a painter. Creepy persistent. read more

Why oh why do I continue to even try to buy paint here? I tried calling yesterday 3 separate times during the day, only to be quickly put on hold. All 3 times nobody came back to phone to help me after I finally gave up from holding 10 minutes all 3 times. Tried to call today, same thing...I tried twice. Finally I happened to be in the area at 4:30. I checked and they closed at 5pm...well....the old saying "it's 5 o'clock somewhere" cause yep, they were closed. So not only do they not want to pick up the phone once you've been put on hold, they also close before the posted sign says they are closing. Totally ridiculous!! read more

I just visited this location to pick up tons of color samples for my house. I had about 20 colors that our Home Owner Association specified to choose from and when Clint offered me to help I was so happy. Becoz I have done this before and took me forever to find the samples last time and he explained to me why. Becoz I was picking up wrong color. It probably saves about my 30-45 min of my time. He did it in less than 7-8 min while he was also helping other customer!!! I recommend this location if you need to get paint. It is very important for any business ti have great employee like Clint. This is review is for their repair service. Do yourself a favor and use another company or location. Their excuses and incompetency are so bad I just had to end up laughing off the situation. Took my equipment for a warranty claim. More a month later I get the same excuses- blaming the manufacturer for the delay and it's always something along the line "we're still waiting for Graco to approve the repair." and "these type claims take about 4 weeks." And on two occasions they said if I wanted it sooner I can to pay out of pocket $350 for the repair (they'll refund the money once repair is approved). LOL When Graco intervened, the repair guy said it's going to take another 7-10 days for all the parts to arrive because some parts was ordered 6 days ago. This is another insult to your intelligence and false on so many level. First there's only one part needed (the pump) not several parts like they claimed. Second, I was told earlier that day (before Graco folks got involved) that nothing can be done until it's approved yet somehow they decided to order "parts" six days before that and after more than three weeks of holding on to my equipment. I had enough and took back my equipment back to deal with Graco directly. They gave my spray gun back completely disassembled. Graco overnighted me the replacement part. Took me one day to fix the spray gun. Thank you Graco! No thanks to a joke of a service center. You wasted my time and insulted my intelligence. read more

I was so disappointed with my experience at this store. I came in to buy two gallons of paint, and I ended up waiting more than 30 minutes. The attitude of the staff was so rude and impolite. I even saw one of the employees roll her eyes at a customer when talking on the phone. I will definitely not be coming back to this store. read more

Went to go look at some paint samples and ask a question to a person behind the counter. He said he didn't know. He referred me to the specialist interior design person who worked at another location that you had to make an appointment with. So I did it. She did not seem very interested in what I had to tell her. Like maybe I wasn't going to spend enough money? I don't know she was looking down her nose at me. Telling me that the paint she was suggesting was with all the homes in Newport did.I told her what I wanted and clearly did not listen to me. Anyhow, went back to get more samples and still no help. As they were closing, so I didn't have a lot of time. Running out of time with my painters. So now I am stuck with a paint that I hate. The paint itself seems to be good. It's like customer service has like left the planet read more

They are very helpful and knowledgeable here and have extensive selection of paint. It does get quite busy here, but the employees are efficient. Prices are on par with others and I feel the quality is very good. read more

Hands down, the worst place to buy paint ever. They never answer the phone, when they tell you they will call to let you know the paint is ready, they don't and when they tell you the paint will be ready the next day, it's not. The staff are short with customers and they don't know what they are doing. They speak Spanish thinking people don't understand what they are saying in offense to their customers. Not cool. Will not return. read more

Beautiful store but it took 40 minutes to get a quart of paint. Unacceptable and what makes it worse is that you can see the workers in the back slacking off read more

Came in for 2 gallons of paint first I was told that they did not have the base to mix the paint then I was told that they did have it they said it'll be about 30 minutes they were not busy. I went away and came back 35 minutes later they had not started on my order because they did not have the right tint base so I changed my Order to match what they did have in stock and asked if they could please hurry it since I have been waiting already close to an hour they took their good time as if to say will do it when we're damn getting ready would not recommend this location. Love Dunn Edwards products just not impressed with the service at the store. read more

Clint Roy is the color advisor at this Dunn-Edwards location. I would have paid $1,000.00 for his color recommendations. Clint makes you feel comfortable, moves at a pleasant and smooth pace. Making decisions on the color of your home is very difficult for a non-creative person like myself. Utilize Clint, and be glad you did. read more

Sent my husband down for gray color swatches Guess the person who waited on him didn't want to take the time to listen to him. She sends him back with colors for outside when he told her the job is inside. Why take a job in customer service if you don't want to help people. Well I'll ride over to Sherwin Williams myself. read more

I came in to do a color match and ordered a gallon of it, they told us it's gonna be hour wait, we came in 10 mins before the hour mark and the lady who helped us lied to the other laid that was helping us saying that is only been 30 mins since we put the order in, we paid at 8:35am and came back at 9:25 am, when another employee asked her how long we've been waiting she told them we haven't been waiting a long time, lying for the second time, I really don't mind waiting, but what bothers me is that she lies, there's no need to lie and say we've only been waiting 30 mins, just be straight up and be like we're a little behind, we didn't end up get our paint till 10:11am an hour and 40 mins later read more

Horrible service center! Tired to get a part for my Graco Sprayer. I went in and showed him the part, brought the manual and identified the part number and then waited 2 weeks. I called to check and he said it was there. When I picked it up it was the wrong part. I talked to the manager because the service guy was not there and she said she would follow up. It's been 2 weeks and I haven't heard a thing. read more

I've been here twice, both times on Saturday afternoons, and the place has been busy and the service has been super slow. What pisses me off and is the deciding factor why I will NOT return is that they rip you off! I used the yelp 50 percent off coupon and instead of charging me $45 which is clearly listed as the shelf price, the guy charged me $67. I asked him why it was almost $37 with the coupon, when I had bought the same exact paint last week for $22 with the coupon at the Cerritos store. He just rudely said "that's how much it is." Since I'm on a deadline, I went ahead and got the paint but I will NEVER come back to this store because that is shady business practice. read more

I came to purchase a few color samples for interior repaint and had some idea about color family that I've been leaning towards. I just had the worst customer service at this store. I walked in and nobody was at the counter, but three sales people were in the room behind the counter. After waiting for some time I walked over and asked if there was a bell I could ring to get some help. Their response was "there should be someone out there". Finally someone came from another area to help me. After ordering my paint and waiting the required 30 minutes, I walked over to the outside door to pick up my paint. My order was sitting just past a sign that said "employees only". I saw an employee in the distance and yelled "hello" He looked up, saw me, and continued to not acknowledge me. I waited a few minutes and then walked past the sign and got all my paint loaded in my car. As I was just shutting my trunk, the employee came to the door with another order. I told him I had gotten my paint myself and his only response was that he was busy. No excuses!! Horrible service from the front counter to the back area. read more

I love Dunn Edwards Everest paint in Muslin and I love this Irvine store. OLIVER and DEE were SUPER helpful. Great customer service! Fast and speedy service. I was helping a friend update a room they were converting into a rental space. They had just a little bit of leftover original paint, but needed more to completely cover up all the numerous touch up spots. The original paint was over 20 years old, but was from Dunn-Edwards Paints, and there were 2 nearby. I brought the can in and they were able to match their paint in just a few minutes. When I asked about the price, it was a little steep for what I was expecting (I forgot it was also a custom color and a higher quality paint), but when I asked if they do military discounts....BAM! 50% off! I think even the guy helping me was shocked! Great service and support! read more

The paint is good, answering the phones is bad. I called twice to try and reorder before I drive down to pick up so I don't have to wait 20 more minutes on top of the drive. The phone rings and then it goes into an automated no voicemail only to hang up on you. Odd for service. read more
