It can take a ridiculous amount of time to get helped but honestly it's understandable considering there is only a couple associates available to help, and they seem to value quality over quantity when dealing with the customers. For example, the associates working made sure to cover any question or make suggestions to the customers they were with and I could tell that they actually cared about making the best of the experience. When it was finally our turn to get help, the associate was very detailed with sharing the different finishes of paint (it was our first ever project) as well as the most popular colors and even suggested trying a sample of a custom color. As it turns out, the customer color sample turned out perfect and we opted to purchase a can of the custom color and 2 cans of pure white in velvet to use for our project. I haven't had other paints to compare with, but the paint quality definitely seemed up to par as it held very well in both the brush and roller when finishing the walls. The finish was exactly as described and looks perfect in the room of our project. I would certainly return during less busy hours because waiting to get service may be a bit annoying, but overall the quality of service and the selection seem great at this location. read more

Home Depot who? I have never seen a more dedicated team when it comes to paint service. I needed a color match done with a custom made color I made at home on a wall. I cut off a thin 1inch strip and took it into the store and the team collectively spent 35 mins color matching until they got it perfect. Took almost 11 attempts and even I would have gotten frustrated and annoyed, but they had a smile on their face the entire time! HUGE shoutout to Bianca, Mikaylan, and Chris! read more

They're SO nice and helpful here! I was advised to take a step out to look at the colors in the sun (or in shade where my door is). Thank god I did! I love it! I've been shopping at this store for years. Their color match system is the best. However, when I entered the store on wednesday, June 2nd, I dealt with an employee named michael. He was completely incompetent and unprofessional. He was totally unwilling to take a color sample from a pail of Sherwin-Williams paint I brought to the store. I purchased similar paint that did not match. I returned several hours later and asked him to please color match the paint again, which he refused to do. Then he complained about having to work late. As he swore at an old woman entering the store under his breath, I realized this inexperienced millennial should not be working at this store, or any other in my opinion. I am moving and I am painting my accent walls. I went to Lowes and looked at the Sherwin-Williams colors. They had them all together w catalogs of how they use the colors together. I found the color, Morning Fog, which was perfect for my Living-room. I could not find it used in a catalog and no other colors had the same tone. I found a Sensuous Gray and a Pear color, however, something was off w the hues and I could not find exactly what I was looking for. I then learned there was a Sherwin on Jeffrey (saw it when I was driving to my sisters place), right around the corner from me, so I looked at their website and read: 30% off paint from June 21 to July 8th (I believe are the dates) and that is a huge savings. I went in on that Friday, the 21st and was met by McKenna, their Manager. I explained to her my frustrations w two of the colors being off. After we looked at swatches, she suggested Gris Morado and Golden Fleece and I really felt good about the two to compliment Morning Fog and I ordered the paint and saved almost $50. That was so nice. Later that evening, I pulled the swatches out of my jacket pocket and as I was looking at them, I laughed in a good/foolish way. You see, I noticed then that the colors McKenna suggested were in the SW family like Morning Fog, that is why they blended so well. When I was at Lowes and asked why I could not match Morning Fog tone w two other shades I was looking for, they did not have a solution for me. I am very happy I went to Sherwin and that McKenna assisted me for a several reasons: 1) She knew her products and spoke w me so I learned some new things about paint 2) She listened to me and understood what I was looking for 3) Because of 1 and 2, she picked the 2 swatches of the colors I wanted in the SW color family and made the 2 suggestions and I was very impressed. 4) I left smiling and very satisfied w my purchase, no remorse. I will definitely go back and I have referred a few friends to stop by there too. I will see the results of the painted walls next weekend and I will update w a picture. read more

I have nothing to say about the quality of paint or other products. I'm just writing this to comment on the service I received at the counter from a young woman named Cassie. Her delightful personality made my visit such an enjoyable experience. She's sharp, enthusiastic and was eager to find the correct answer to all my questions. If only all store employees were this way, especially in chain stores! Cassie was a bright spot in an otherwise mundane afternoon of shopping for remodel supplies. AVOID this store! When the color that you thought you were ordering and it does not come out as expected, they simply cover their ass with the "no refund or return policy. That is fine but when I questioned why, since the customer right before me had the same problem, I asked could it be that the computer needed to be recalculated and they became very rude. I pointed out that the color was not the same as the color chip and was told that it was because of the different sheen, it was no where close to the chip color. I asked why I wasn't told that when I made the purchase, the reply was that they are not there to educate me. As I was leaving behind my back they laughed and said "well there goes another important customer". I'm a paint dummy. Recently, I became a first-time homeowner, and my husband and I plan on repainting our condo ourselves. Hubby was at work and sent me to Sherwin-Williams to pick out paint samples. I walk in and obviously had no idea what I was doing. The guy working there was REALLY helpful and walked me through what I needed to do. He made suggestions without being pushy, and was informative without being condescending. Overall, they were so, so helpful! I walked away with three little canisters of paint samples, and a nice brush that I'll be able to use again when we paint the living room. When the store employees mess up your custom color order, they simply cover their ass with the "no refund or return on custom tint" policy, and that's it. I have been a painter for 25 years and have been a painting contractor for two years. This is by far the best paint store I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with! The store manager, Ian, is very knowledgeable about all of the Sherwin WIlliams products they offer and will take the time to discuss the best option and products for your project. When I call an order in by phone, its ready by the time I get there (last min orders are filled almost immediately). When I have concerns about certain products/coverings, spec and data sheets are provided. If your a painting contractor dealing with Dunn Edwards or Frazee, give this store a shot, my bet is that you will not be disappointed! It's a good store to buy house paint but not epoxy. Bought Sherwin Williams Garage Floor Epoxy Paint. Expensive than others but the product was probably old. It had cracked all over within hours of application. Not much knowledge in the store regarding epoxy coat. Will never go with Sherwin Williams brand for epoxy products. read more

Slow service, been waiting here in line for over 15 minutes no one came by to acknowledge me or the other guy waiting behind me. Cashier continued to work slowly for the person in front of us. The least she could do is say I'll be right with you, instead of ignoring us. To her credit she was eventually was friendly, but this place needs more workers and not be so backed up. read more

This is one of the worst SW stores out there. Sales person was extremely slow and chatted with other customers ignoring people waiting in line. One employee had to clock out at 5pm and the black manager asked him to clock out and employee continued to work without been paid. Clearly a labor law violation.
