The manager and service individual were extremely helpful and patient in helping someone who knew nothing about paint/home renovating. They were so helpful from the initial phone call, to expediting my paint request (ready in 10 mins) to helping me pick it up as well as helping me load the two gallons to my car. What a pleasant experience they made this be when I was initially intimated by the whole request by my contractors. Thank you so much for helping me and being so patient. Want to share my experience on 6/11/24 at Sherwin Williams Store. The interior of my house is painted green briar beige, it's an older color. I had ran out and needed to do a touchup in the kitchen. What I thought was a Sherwin-Williams color was actually Benjamin Moore. I called the store in Tustin and a lady named Katie helped me (she's actually the one who figured out the brand)! She looked up the formula to make it, but could not find it. So we hung up. Then about five minutes later, the phone rings again and it's Sherwin-Williams, Katie actually googled it and found it! I was able to get my color match! I wanted to share because this was such awesome Customer Service! She actually went above and beyond to find that color for me. I have been shopping here for 6 years. But, they have a new employee and her name is Mikhaylan Price. And I don't know what is honestly wrong with this employee but she was one of the most disrespectful and unmannered employee I have ever dealt with. I have spent a lot of time and money recently on paint projects (backyard, doors etc) and here is my advice 1. Don't use low quality paints from Home Depot or lowes - go to sherwin Williams, in particular, this store in Tustin. Why ? -- 2 great advice - I got an amazing recommendation (H&C cool feel) for my concrete backyard job from the extremely helpful people at this store and I couldn't be happier - what would have been a tile remodeling job became a concrete refinish and paint job (much cheaper) and it actually looks like i installed expensive new concrete tiles ! 3 if they don't have something they will search around and call other SW stores for you and help them prepare your order too I am never stepping foot at chain home improvement stores again for any paint needs after this experience here - talk to the experts here who know what they are doing, not people who have no interest in their jobs The higher quality pays for itself even if it's a touch more expensive read more

I would definitely avoid this store if you are doing home projects. I typically Yelp places before I purchase from them, but I didn't, and that is on me. I bought a bunch of paint for a home project. As I near the last part of the project that required very sharp lines they recommended a tape for to get get absolutely straight lines. Went home, started to use the tape but it would not adhere to the base boards. So naturally I take the product back for a return because it wasn't going to work. They refused to return the tape because "I used it." No shit, how else would I know if it was going to work? This is a great lesson in how to lose a customer completely over 9 bucks. I guess my 9 bucks today is more valuable than future business. Buy at a big box store that won't question your legitimate returns. read more

If you are looking for a great paint quality. I would recommend to go to Sherwin-Williams versus HD or Lowe's. (There 2 big box has good paint but if you are looking for great quality paint) I would recommend. read more

The sales woman was very rude. I was told earlier on the phone by another sales person that if I know the numbers of the paints that would be helpful....in store when I told the numbers to the sales lady she replied " numbers mean nothing to me" with a very rude tone of voice...I tried again and she just stared at me. not being helpful. I left the store at that time . Went to another Sherwin Williams on Edinger very helpful sales man found the paints by the same numbers without diffculty. Came in for two small paint samples. Should have gone to home depot. Waited 40 minutes. Only one guy here cuz the other guy left for lunch 20 minutes ago while 3 people were waiting. At least the remaining guy was helpful and doing the best he could, and my samples, which he matched from a magazine picture, were great. read more

I'm redecorating my kids bedroom from a nursery to a kids room. I purchased paint samples from Lowes (my first mistake). They have a formula and do their best to match using Valspar paint. I had narrowed it down from 7 paint samples to one Sherwin Williams color. I wanted it in Harmony to minimize the smell and potential toxic effects of the paint. I have two small children so I called ahead of time to let Andrew know what I needed and could he make it ahead of time so I could just come in and pay. Of course he had everything ready and it was a seamless process! I decided to put it in the wall to compare it to the other paint samples and it matched- but a color I didn't pick. He certainly did his best based on the correct formula but what I wanted was apparently not the true Sherwin Williams color. I noticed it said custom color and non-refundable and to be honest I panicked a little, but I've also learned if I don't ask I won't know. Assistant manager Elvis answered the phone and reassured me that if they could not correct the original sample they'd make me a new one. And she, Andrew and another helpful lady spent time getting the perfect match at no charge to me! We'll be living with the color for awhile so of course I needed it perfect and appreciate the professionalism, time, effort, attention to detail (there are way more than 50 shades of gray!!!) I'm a really happy customer and have learned my lesson to just try samples straight from them! read more

I stopped by last weekend to check out paint chips. The sales person was very nice and told me that this weekend there is a 40% off sale. Nice to know he also told me that if i did not know what color i needed i could always buy the paint and have the color added later. I came back to buy my paint on Friday. The asst. manager helped me. I saw the price and thought that it was very high even though it was 40% off. I have never used SW paint I usually use Dunn Edwards. I bought 4 gal. I painted my living room and hall. This is the best paint I have used in a long time! It went on very smooth and looks great! It is definitely worth the price! Good-Bye Dunn Edwards and Hello Sherwin Williams! Also my paint was mixed super fast. If I went to Dunn Edwards I would have had to wait at least 1 hour for 4 gal. I was out of the store in 10 Min. We are remodeling the whole house. Jamie, Elvia, and Christina, helped me greatly as I kept buying paint samples which I spread on big pieces of foam board. The perfect lighting in the store along with their friendly design and color expertise (they know what a bright white versus a soft white is, e.g.) helped me create my light, cheery house with Creme (a soft golden yellow) on the walls, white doors and baseboards and Topsail (a pale seafoam-like blue) in the bathrooms. The office for my hubby has Tradewind (a darker Topsail) on the end wall, surrounded by Creamy on all the other walls (an off-white version of Creme). I have light natural colored maple cabinetry and light natural oak colored Engineered Vinyl flooring (Cortec). White quartz (with stones on it) are on the counters, fireplace, and pony wall. White shutters on the windows. Our Lazyboy couch is a color darker than Tradewind and lighter than Moody Blue. Our Lazyboy recliners are creme leather. Outside we went with Kilim beigh, white fascia and garage door, and Moody Blue front door plus mailbox. Out mosaic tile in the kitchen is Daltile City Lights/Hollywood. Our windows are white (Extra White). (Gads, I sound like a commercial magazine, but am hoping this helps someone who wants a light look). read more
