I still have the original Emerald Softer Tan color in my hallway and the paint has not faded at all. I just went to this location in Fountain Valley to darken my Emerald Urithan Enamel Trim cabinets paint which I bought at another Sherwin William a few days earlier. I was very impressed with the staff working here. They were friendly and greeted me with a smile when I walk in even though they seem busy with 2 other customers. I have been to other professionals paint store including other Sherwin William store but was never greeted when I walk in. The manager Francis D. offer to try to change the color for me the best he can if I pick another color or he can darken what I have without additional cost. He did tell me once I change the original mix color I bought previously then it will be very difficult to mix up other batch. I decided to pick out 4 new paint color so my wife can decide this time once and for all so I do not waste my time going back and forth. Francis was very helpful and mix me 4 samples and I got a little discount for having an account there which is free to get. I asked Francis what his recommendation was for sample board to paint it on and he gave me some empty boxes and said I could use those to paint the samples on which I have never thought off. I was going to use a wooden board at home. I definitely would recommend coming to the Sherwin William Fountain Valley Store for the extra ordinary WOW service provided by Francis D. and his team. I used the Purdy Syntox 2 1/2 inch angular which gives it a smooth finish without having to sand with 400 grit. I did not sand in between coats either. I scruffs it with a wire cleaning brush really good then 2 coats of Premier Wall and Wood primer. I waited 24 hours in between coats. I used the Emerald Urethane Trim Enamel in Satin with Sturdy Brown 6097 paint color with 2 coats as well and waited 24 hours between coats. Maybe one day I will paint the top cabinets but for now it will be 1 of 1 designed in 2 tone.

I went to another Sherwin William store today for another color in the same paint and they sold me 1 quartz in which apparently it comes in for $50. I just check their online website and it does come in 1 quartz. This location on Brookhurst in Garden Grove is shady so beware if you shop there. If you are not a Professional then go to another Sherwin William store if you need this paint. Sherwin William is one of the best paint out there and I have been using it in my home for over 20 years with no problem and have not need to repaint it. I have just been changing colors at certain room. Unfortunately this location is giving Sherwin William a bad name.

They've since created a floor-model area where they have majorly discounted items you can take home right there. Kathy really went way out of her way to find two of the Diablo Rockers for my mother and get them to the store so we could pick them up ourselves, keeping me updated by email along the way. We ended up purchasing an entire outdoor set for my mom and brother's new house including a patio table, chair set, and umbrella and base, much of which was deeply discounted at the floor model price. The team also let us hold some things in the back so we could come back for items that didn't fit in my car on the first trip.
